I cannot recommend Plaza Inn Gasometer enough – it’s an absolutely amazing place to stay in Vienna! The location is perfect, the rooms are impeccably clean and cozy, and the breakfast is simply incredible. But what truly sets this hotel apart is its exceptional staff. During my stay, I was thoroughly impressed by their professionalism and kindness. However, it was after I had already checked out that their kindness truly shone. I realized, while boarding my flight back to Poland, that I had forgotten my AirPods in the hotel room. Feeling stressed and uncertain, I reached out to the hotel. To my amazement, the staff not only understood my situation but went above and beyond to ensure my headphones were safely sent back to me. Thanks to their incredible effort, the parcel arrived at my home in Poland, and I couldn’t be more grateful. This level of care and attention to detail is rare, and I’m still in awe of the kindness and professionalism of the team at Plaza Inn Gasometer. Not only did I have a wonderful stay, but this experience reminded me that there are still places where hospitality truly comes from the heart. Thank you for making my stay so special and for going the extra mile for your guests. I am deeply appreciative and would return in a heartbeat!

Honestly, there wasn’t anything I didn’t like about my stay. Everything was perfect – from the cleanliness of the room to the amazing breakfast and the incredibly kind and helpful staff. I truly can’t think of a single thing to improve!

We liked the location, very close to the U3 line. The room was big enough, the AC worked fine. It's quite location but close to the Gasometer and busy area. We didn't have breakfast, but there are places to eat around. The WiFi was good enough. It's clean, the staff was great. The public garage is nearby for 7.5E/day, very close and easy from the highway.

I would like if they put a little fridge and a safe in the room which will dramatically upgrade the room. The night table next to one bed is weird with a whole on the top, keep dropping staff in it, but it's a minor thing.

The property was 2min walk from Gasometer. This was exceptionally convenient for us as we were there for a concert. The hotel is in close proximity to Gasometer UBahn station making the connection to city center extremely easy. The room was extremely cleaned when we arrived. It was comfortable and very convenient. The hotel staff were really helpful, polite and assisting. The breakfast was EXCEPTIONAL! Very large selection of good quality goods for you to choose what you want to eat.

There were only 2 minor issues with the hotel room. 1. There is no mini fridge in the room so if you want to store any food is a bit difficult 2. The daily cleaning of the room could have been better.

Perfect stay for a Gasometer concert – modern, friendly, and comfortable We stayed at Palaza Inn Gasometer for a concert at the Gasometer, and the location couldn't have been better – just a 2-minute walk from the venue. Absolutely ideal if you're attending an event there! The hotel is fresh, clean, and has a simple, modern design. The staff at reception were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and both check-in and check-out were impressively fast. We booked a family room, which was spacious and thoughtfully arranged. The beds were very comfortable and of high quality, and we especially appreciated having two separate rooms – one with two single beds – which was great for the kids. One small surprise was that the bathroom didn’t have a door, which might not suit everyone. On the positive side, the complimentary bottled water was a really nice gesture. One suggestion: having a small fridge in the room would make the stay even more convenient – it’s the only thing we missed. All in all, highly recommended – we’d gladly stay again if visiting the area. And who knows – with a slightly more reasonable rate, it could become our go-to hotel in Vienna.

The breakfast was very nice and with various opportunities for everyone. The location of the hotel was very nice. It was located in a very calm area and just 3-4 mins walk to the metro station. The hotel seems to be new. The rooms were very clean and newly designed. The staff was friendly enough, ready to assist. Even though we stayed for one night, the hotel is perfect even for a long stay. The lobby was very comfortable. There is a luggage room in place.

Unfortunately the bed was not one king bed. 2 single beds were put next to each other, which made very uncomfortable for the couple to stay.

A very well situated hotel for an overnight after a concert in the Gasometer or the Arena Wien. It is also very close to the U3 metro. The room was clean, the bed and pillow very comfortable, and curtains blocking well the light during sleeping. The area looked to be quiet at night, perfect for sleeping. I liked that there is a bottle of mineral water provided for free, and also there is a kettle with some tea and coffee. Another positive is that there were enough tables at breakfast. Breakfast choices are not the most extensive, but there are some items which cannot be found in other hotels, like the beetroot and lentil falafel balls, and the egg muffin. Coffee was perfectly strong.

The bathroom had an interesting design, without a separate door, although as a solo traveller it did not bother me. However, inside, there was a door for the walk in shower and another for the toilet.

Good location, very close to the underground line U3 (Gasometer station) that provided quick access to the center of the city. Good, quiet neighborhood, near a small shopping mall located inside one of the Gasometer buildings (includes a McDonalds, a Spar market). Also, there is a complimentary bottle of still water in the room, which was a good thing. Helpful staff, English speakers at the reception - we had a problem with the hair dryer and they provided a solution to fix it despite being almost 11 PM. One more thing to add is that you can leave your luggage at the reception in case you are arriving too early for check-in. You will have to fill in an online form for the check-in and the check-out can also be done online. It is one of the good options in Vienna if you need a place to crash and have a shower for a decent price and don't want to pay extra to stay closer to the center of the city. For getting to the hotel, the best combination for transport is the S7 train from the airport to the Wien Mitte station and from there the U3 metro to Gasometer.

The room does not have a fridge of any type and for some people it can be small. Despite having some toiletries, you will still need to bring your own slippers. The room does not have a carpet, just wooden floor and in the bathroom there are tiles. Please be aware that you can do an early check-in, but it will cost you extra: 30,00 euro if it is before 9 AM / 25 euros from 9:00-12:00 / 15 euro from 12:00-15:00

Located conveniently near U3 station Gasomemeter. Just 5-6 min walk. Nice room, nice spread of breakfast,

After checkin, i got key for room 121. I went to first floor, followed the signboards & searched for room 122. It was not there at all in between 120-122. All other rooms were there. Came down again to reception, asked a girl. She said - follow the signboards & go deep inside the passage. Went again, could not find it again. So just casually went other side of signboards & then could locate my room 121. It was totally a confusion.

The hotel is 1 min from the Gasometer so it was very convenient for us (we attended a concert there). The metrostation is 2-3 min away. The room was clean, a bit small but exactly what was exepted to be. The stuff is very kind and helpful. The heating was enough having in mind that it was 2 degrees Celsius outside.

There were limited number of towels and there were no toiletteries in the bathroom (you shoud ask for them at the reception). There was no minibar. There was slight wind coming through the window but that was not a problem because of the good heating system. The breakfast is kind of expensive (17 euro per person). The hairdryer was not working.

The bed was extremely comfortable. Air conditioning is available, which was necessary as it was very hot and you had to close the windows at night to block out the noise from outside. When the windows were closed, the room was very peaceful and the curtains blacked out the light too. A few wonderful nights' sleep! The U3 underground is just around the corner.

Due to the online check in and check out, sent by mail, there is practically no interaction or communication with the staff. I missed this, and although the room was great and the location is handy, the staff make a huge difference to a stay. This is the first time I experienced the self check in process in a good hotel and I prefer contact with hotel personnel. The staff at the coffee bar were helpful when I needed to ask reception something and there was no-one there.
