The rooms are quiet and clean. As a solo traveler I felt very safe in the hotel and generally at the city. Also, the breakfast was incredible, very rich and all the staff is very helpful.

This wasn't a problem for me but there is no radiator at the rooms. There is a central heating system so you can't control the temperature of the room yourself.

Service was on point, the location is perfect for exploring, and the ambiance makes you feel like you’re part of something cool and contemporary. Whether you’re in town for music, culture, or just to relax in style, Jaz in the City delivers. Highly recommended—especially for those rooftop vibes.

The venue was very convenient, with easy access to metro-stations (We used U2 and U4). Some main attractions are easily working distant. Food outlets and supermarkets are there in the close vicinity. Rooms are contemporary and nice. The staff is friendly. Use of the tab for communicating with the staff was convenient and timely. Make sure to inform when you want the room cleaned, and towels and bed linen cleaned ahead of time. This is communicated to you on checking in, but make a note of it. Also, make sure to request for slippers or any other amenities needed, information is given on the tab. Many are provided free.

The fact that there was not place to hang towels in the bath room cubicle complicated matters a bit. Hope the hotel management considers this when upgrading the showers.

Our favorite location in Vienna, steps away from the main pedestrian shopping thoroughfare, lots of restaurants and cafes, near the metro, walkable to the Naschmarket and (a bit further) downtown, and yet on a quiet street. Room was generously sized, clean and comfortable, with blackout curtains and blinds. The hotel even has a little clean and new gym, and a sauna (which we didn't use). There's a fridge, coffee maker and kettle in the room. We would definitely stay here again. Oh, and there's a fabulous rooftop terrace.

It was almost too stylish and high-tech for us. Having a turntable in the room to listen to free jazz records sounds like fun, but actually, a desk would have been a lot more practical. We couldn't figure out how to turn out the lights at night while still leaving a bathroom light on – it took until the next day that we found the discreetly placed light switches (and figured out how to turn off other lights with no visible switches; we had to unscrew the bulbs at first). And we also couldn't figure out how to turn on the AC (turns out you have to shut the window first). So some practical room instructions might have been helpful.

- It is close to the metro stations, essential for Vienna's colossal city. - One of the main shopping streets is 5 minutes from the hotel. - There are small restaurants 3 minutes from the hotel, and the huge Bila Plus store provides everything you need for meals if you are not going to use food establishments. - There is a Sky Bar for relaxing after a long day of touring the city.

- The wallpaper is peeling, and the room needs a minor renovation. - Cleaning the room is not part of the staff's duties, but happens after you call (this may be a minus, but for some people it may be a plus) - There is an interesting extra in the rooms: a turntable with a radio, but they are more for decoration than for use. They do not work as expected of them.

Spacious, Comfortable Rooms and Excellent Service We had a truly pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms are spacious, well-designed, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day exploring Vienna. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is warm and inviting, with thoughtful touches that enhance the experience. One of the highlights of our stay was the staff – they were exceptionally polite, respectful, and went out of their way to accommodate any request we had. Whether it was a question about local attractions or a small service we needed, their responsiveness and genuine willingness to help stood out. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and great hospitality in Vienna.

The only downside we experienced during our stay was the temperature in the room. Since it was a transitional season, the air conditioning system was not set to cooling mode, which resulted in the rooms being uncomfortably warm on hotter days — especially at night. This made it more difficult to fully enjoy the in-room comfort, as the heat affected our ability to rest and sleep well. It’s something to be aware of if you’re planning a stay during similar weather conditions

Exploring the vinyls and getting to play them in our room was amazing. The location was great - we were a short walk away from really good restaurants, museums and other places. We also really liked the roof top bar. Somehow the pictures of the rooms don’t do the hotel justice - our room looked so much nicer and cozier than in the pictures, which was a great surprise, given that it’s always the other way around with hotels :) Staff was super nice.

Honestly if we HAD to find one thing - we’d prefer shower gel/soap bottles with a pump instead of squeeze bottles. But really, there’s nothing

The location was superb, my room was facing the street however it was extremely quiet. The breakfast was excellent, the staff awesome. I have listened to vinyls in my room which was a cool experience (e.g. Strauss, Barry White, Commodores- there were plenty to choose from). The interiors are fantastic and carefully thought through. A touch of music everywhere which made my stay special. I was most happy with the yoga mat which was part of my rooms equipment. After a long and tiring day wandering around and walking in the city, the mat was a life saviour to do some regenerating stretching. It definitely made my stay and Vienna experience better. I hope to come back one day.

The wallpapers could use some fixing.

The hotel is very close to walking street about 3 minutes only it is great location, the hotel is really clean and the staff are excellent.

Nothing

really a great place for many reasons. eco friendly, roof bar, salsa dancing on the weekend, records to borrow (although selection rather picked over as other guests take them to their rooms and leave them there...). location is super functional. only issue was that some room details were not attended to upon arrival, peeling wall paper, ipad and its clicker not changed or with a power chord, and not sound proof (could hear our neighbors perfectly. oh and personally for me the hallway lights were miserable/ blinding/bad design... but it was comfy and clean and fun, well located, kind staff who were also very helpful. I would stay again despite the few things that could be improved.
