Great service and communication with hotel staff. Very nice rooms and THE BEST location, right next door to the train station. Parked our vehicle once (10CHF per day) and used the train for our three days of activities in Zermatt. Couldn't have been a better stay. We really enjoyed it and great price.

The hotel is conveniently located right next to Täsch train station, making arrival hassle-free as we didn’t have to drag our luggage for a long walk. Täsch is a fantastic alternative for visiting Zermatt, offering a laid-back and peaceful environment away from the crowds and tourist buzz. The frequent train service between Zermatt and Täsch, with a travel time of just 12-15 minutes, makes it incredibly convenient to explore Zermatt while staying in Täsch. We also enjoyed starting each day with a delicious breakfast, which was a great way to fuel up for our adventures. The hotel restaurant Taescherhof is also a fantastic option for dinner. It offers authentic Swiss cuisine, allowing us to enjoy delicious local flavors without having to venture far.

It is common for businesses and hotels in Europe to use motion-sensor lights, particularly in corridors. While this is a practical energy-saving measure, these corridors are shared spaces, and it would be helpful to have at least one light consistently on to guide late arrivals and ensure easier navigation.

Everything including: price, location by station and close proximity to Zermatt, size of room, appointment of room, deep pile carpet, underfloor heating in bathroom, modernity of the bathroom & shower, extra large bath towels, breakfast, friendliness of staff ( see note below) and complimentary upgrade to the new part of the hotel.

Arrived a couple of hours prior to regular check in time and was told to come back later as they claimed they were fully booked the previous night. I know this to be factually incorrect due to prior correspondence with hotel, a manual check I made in the afternoon prior to see how many rooms I could still book and the fact 2/3 of the breakfast room was closed off. I just wished they had been honest and said we have to follow rules rather than blatant lies.

Located right next to the train station, which offers a 20 minute connection to Zermatt throughout the day. Our room was spacious, the bathroom modern, the bed comfortable. The balcony had a lovely view; alas February isn't quite the temperatures for spending much time on it! Breakfast had a good range. We had a meal in the hotel restaurant one evening, and it was delicious. Other evenings we ate in Zermatt, and the trains run until midnight so it's no problem to enjoy a relaxed evening there before coming back to the hotel.

Some of the "hot" breakfast items were going cold. (Granted we had breakfast near the end of the breakfast period, but still, late risers deserve warm sausages on their holiday too!)

This hotel's location directly across from the train station is incredibly convenient, making it ideal for short stays. We were particularly impressed by the stunning mountain views from our balcony, complete with the charming sight of passing trains. The genuinely friendly and helpful staff truly elevated our experience."

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel overall. The only minor issue was a slight odor in the hallway leading to our room, which may be related to the hotel's pet policy. Our room itself and the areas in front of it were perfectly fine. We also noted that the daily round trip to Zermatt is a bit expensive at 43 euros for a family of four

This hotel was very good. The breakfast was nice and the beds were comfy. The location was also perfect. Also, the balcony had an amazing view (Modern Room). There is a kebap store and restaurant on the other side of the road.

The modern rooms were a little bit pricey. But, it was a great hotel.

Hotel is located neat the train station which is extremely convenient for Zermatt trip. Staff is extremely friendly in reception or restaurant. They even went the extra mile and prepared a breakfast bag since I was departing hotel prior 7.00 when breakfast is served.

Due to its proximity of train station ''light sleepers'' might have a problem with sleeping. I would recommend changing the position of the bed in the room where I was staying and move the head rest to the opposite wall (rotate the bed for 180 degrees).

The hotel facilities were great, everything was clean, well-maintained, and convenient. The location was definitely a highlight, just next to the train station going to Zermatt, making it super easy to travel (only about 15 minutes away). The breakfast was also good, with a nice variety to start the day right. Parking was also convenient, with a fee of 10 CHF per night, which is reasonable.

One small downside was the pillow. I have a back and shoulder condition, and unfortunately, it wasn’t very comfortable for me.

Location brilliant/convenient for Zermatt. Modern room was huge with huge bathroom (including deep bath) and balcony. Underfloor heating in bathroom. Large balcony and no train noise in room if balcony door is shut. Breakfast was great. Lots of easy dinner options across the road and 2 small supermarkets stocked with plenty of items. Large spaces and cupboards for storing clothes and cases. Armchair and small couch.

No fridge in room (but it was freezing outside so we left our cold food outside on a chair - perfect temperature!). Pillows very flat (but that seems to be everywhere in Europe!)

We had a great time in this hotel! The room and the food were amazing, and the staff were very helpful and gave us good recommendations for train and cable car tickets and on differnent possibilities when it comes to hiking around Matterhorn. The hotel is located just a short walk away from the train station, hence one can get quite fast to Zermatt - and from where there are many options to get up into the mountains and enjoy a day full of nature.
