Simply everything. Renovated spacious rooms, modern lobby, crispy clean bathroom. This was my third time in Prague and second at Josef. Hotel Josef has everything you could wish for: perfect location, beautiful design, amazing breakfast (the croissant deserves a separate love letter!), but what really makes it special is the people. A huge thank you to the team — and especially to Pavel — for making everything feel effortless, warm and personal. It’s rare to feel this kind of hospitality — not formal, not distant — but real. I’ll definitely come back. With a smile. And with all the memories I’m taking with me now. P.S. also a lot of great coffee places, restaurants and pastries are just around the corner! As well as museums and cute streets. One sip and coffee cube were my favorites :)

⸻ An Exceptional Experience at Hotel Josef in Prague! We stayed at Hotel Josef and the experience exceeded all expectations. The rooms are beautifully designed, clean, and spacious, with great attention to the small details that make a stay truly comfortable. Breakfast was excellent – a wide variety, fresh and high-quality, with options for vegetarians and vegans as well. But what really makes this hotel stand out is the staff – kind, professional, welcoming, and always ready to help. You can really feel that they care about their guests. The location is perfect: close to all of Prague’s main attractions, yet peaceful and quiet. Highly recommended – we will definitely be coming back!

We loved everything!

The hotel is located in an excellent location, close to the old square and Charles bridge. The hotel is also close by to the Palladium Praha shopping center. The room was specious, clean, refreshing and well organized. The staff was excellent and hospitable - Willing to accommodate and assist with all of our requests. We had joint rooms with a connecting door, so we were close to our kids who also enjoyed the same room standards.

number 1 location. staff was mostly extremely courteous and helpful, special mention of the young man and lady (I think she was from Italy) who were on duty Friday day time shift.

ok so there were 2 things 1) my wife has a dairy allergy and she asked if she could get oat milk for her morning tea, your staff kindly sent some, was a shock to get a bill for this. 2) the lady at the entrance of the breakfast place was a little rude and curt. would not let my wife enter the breakfast room without signing for it where we had been told it would be included. this was today, 12th October.

The location was ideal for my stay, with easy access to most places on foot. I was fortunate to have a room with a stunning view of the castle, which made the experience even more special. Despite being surrounded by vibrant social spots, the hotel was pleasantly quiet at night. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and the ambiance of the facility was welcoming. I also appreciated the high-quality breakfast with a wide variety of options, and the minibar inside the room. I would definitely choose to stay here again!

Rooms are a great design and interesting. All facilities are brilliant, bed is comfortable, free minibar and even an honesty trolley in the lobby where you can get sandwiches etc. for a small fee. Location is unbelievably good for Old Town and the main attractions. We found nothing to be more than 15-20 mins by foot. There are even great locations right by the hotel, cafes, bars and restaurants as well as a supermarket a couple of streets over.

Nothing to be drastically improved. I'd have to be pedantic to pick any fault.

the hotel is a designer hotel. it has many beautiful details and features such as glass and mirror cubes containing all shower and toilet amenities, glass staircase from garage to lobby etc. the staff was super friendly and helpful! breakfasts were awesome. Not to be missed! there is an in-house French patisserie/boulangerie, serving at breakfast. the smell is wonderful during the day.

From the moment we arrived at the hotel, the staff was very nice and believed in hospitality. The hotel was designed beautifully, and the level of cleanliness was amazing. The room is very comfy and has a lot of space. We also use the gym daily; it has all the workout instruments and accessories that are needed. With all these benefits in the hotel, the location was the best! We walk around to all central locations, bars, restaurants, and more.

The open area of the bathroom is clear to anyone else in the room.

Beautiful room and common facilities. Good pillow choices and good bed linen with no dusty bedspreads/covers etc. I’d like to compliment the front desk staff who were the warmest friendliest and generally interested I’ve event experienced even in Asia ! Shout out to Wanda and Marcia who delightful and tried their best to please and help whenever possible
