Great location and was convenient to amenities, we were here for a Wedding, and the prewedding dinner had some complications, the hotel staff were happy to accommodate us, by letting us use the conference room for our venue change. bonus, as it was a very rainy night and we had parents with us, so it would have been difficult to get up the hill for the short walk. Room was big and comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful when needed, would recommend this hotel to any friends if needed and would definitely come back

The location is great for our needs. It was a modern clean room. It was good to have the train station, public transport and shops nearby.

The freezer is only a semi freeze. We stayed 9 days which was fine but we would have stayed longer had the freezer and cooking facilities been more extensive. This is fine for shorter stays but if we were staying for several weeks, it would have not been. Our preference is for these longer stays of several weeks.

We hired a room to get ready for a wedding in the Western suburbs and it served that function perfectly well. It is easily accessible by train and car and there is 3 hour free parking in the basement with undercover access to the lifts. There is a cafe with a reasonable selection just outside the lobby and lots of shops close by in Taringa. There are not many hotels in the area and this was perfect for us at a reasonable price.

This room was like wearing noise cancelling headphones! I really liked that. It felt very safe and I was impressed with the furnishings and feel of the place. The view was incredible! I was amazed at how beautiful this part of the city is. So green, lots of beautiful trees. Humongous windows so I could see out easy and didn't feel trapped in a small space.

The car parking situation could have been super confusing if I hadn't reached out before hand to request extra details. My requests were dealt with very efficiently, hopefully this helps someone else unfamiliar to the area. My Ute, while very handy on my big property, was very challenging to navigate through a Carpark which I think may be more suited to smaller cars. I was very lucky to arrive on a less busy night as there were only, approximately, 5 spaces not marked 'small car' and my dual cab squeezed into one. On a busier night it might cause heart palpitations to find a space for big boned cars. There's nothing management can do about that, but hopefully this helps any folk from the country who arent used to the small spaces of the city.

Very handy to have accommodation within the same building as the hospital I was having a procedure in. The room was comfortable and private. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

EDITED TO ADD: Management has since contacted me and explained that these issues have now been addressed with housekeeping. We would have no hesitation staying here again. The room wasn't super clean. Upon arrival we found hairs in the bed, but staff were very helpful and remade the bed for us with fresh sheets. There was also a lot of dust/linen fibres noticeable - on the kettle (which staff replaced), the bedside tables, alarm clock, bathroom fixtures and window ledge. I have since been advised this is due to linen fibres from the bedding and that staff are now aware and will pay extra attention to deep cleaning. The room also had an unpleasant smell we had to readjust to each time we returned - perhaps due to the ducted air con?

Proximity to medical hub for scheduled appointments. Staff were exceptional. The girl on the reception when I first arrived at 9am went above and beyond. I was aware I couldn't access my room until after lunch time so requested to work from your business centre. The girl on reception not only went searching for the internet connection for me however also personnally delivered my room key well before check in and also arranged for my luggage to be taken upstairs. Later on that evening I also had an encounter with your evening staff member who again went above and beyond and was very friendly. Apologies didn't get personnel's name however both were exceptional.

The location of Essence Suites Taringa suited my needs perfectly. The reception staff were all really friendly and helpful of my questions and requests, including doing some printing for me the following morning, nothing was a hassle. The included breakfast from the cafe in the complex next to the reception area was absolutely delicious and a perfect way to start my very busy day. Highly recommend, two thumbs up!! Their coffee was also 10/10 I will definitely stay here every time I am in Brisbane for business in the future, it is my new 'go to' Brisbane hotel.

One of the best places we've stayed in Brisbane, we'll definitely be back. While we didn't use the cafe it's an added bonus to have a good cafe/bar on site. Lovely view from the windows and I appreciate the bathroom having a blind to use. It is a suite, not just a hotel room which is great. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We had trouble accessing the parking, not their fault but they sorted it for us which was appreciated. Can be a little tricky to get to.

There's nothing in particular to dislike about the rooms or the experience besides a feeling that you're not quite getting great value for money. If the rates were a bit cheaper it'd be a 10/10 but for just shy of $200 a night, plus parking on top, it feels a little bit basic and lacking in luxury.

Great location, shops just up the street and bigger options and extra 5-10min walk away. Train station right under the hotel, 10min to the city. We also walked one day (was a long walk but nice once you hit the river), then scooted the whole way back - tip: get the purple scooters to do this, the orange scooters zones don’t go quite that far. It was a blast! The hotel staff are magnificent, nothing is too much trouble, also checked us in super early so we could sleep right after a grueling 19hr drive. Hotel is immaculate and very comfortable - excellent value for money.
