Huge comfortable bed, top notch shower & bathroom, nice mood lighting in room, well stocked mini bar. Loved the hot spa room & swimming pool. One of the quietest & serene hotels we've stayed in. Perfect location to the ASB theatre.

This the second time staying at the Hyatt & again the TV sort of spoiled the night. After enjoying an entertaining play at the theatre my wife & I was looking forward to settling down to watch a film in our room to finish the night, but the TV has only one film channel & doesn't have a film guide to tell you what film is coming on & at what time. Really need to get Netflix or more film channels with a guide to inform you what's coming on. Very disappointing & maybe a deal breaker for booking accommodation to see our next play.

This was our second stay here & we would stay again as we do like the hotel, we love the understated styling of the interiors, service is amazing, rooms were large & luxurious, location is the best by the waterfront, just don't have the breakfast there. We ate twice at the hotel's casual restaurant & it was good, the service was the best, the staff were so efficient & very pleasant. The Captain's bar is great, nice ambience, great bartenders who knew their stuff.

For a 5 star hotel, the breakfast really lets it down, its ok but not worth the charge, I had an omelette, it was just ok, the coffees were horrible, we sent them back but the replacements were still undrinkable. This sounds petty but nearly all cafes & restaurants can make a good coffee, you just expect it, & I can't recall the last time I went out & had a bad coffee, so its a shock when you have a bad one. Not sure if its the coffee beans they use?

Nice location by the viaduct harbour. From our room you could was the draw bridge go up and down to your hearts content. The room was spacious and had probably the best towels I have ever experienced. The bed was very comfortable. Lots of good restaurants and bars within an easy walk. The Breakfast $40 pp was sensational with a great buffet and cooked to order dishes that were imaginative and super tasty. Great value for money. The hydrotherapy area was good with a hot pool, sauna & steam. If you are adventurous it also had a cold pool. The outdoor swimming pool was located in a different wing. Lots of lounge chairs in the shaded covered area. Again magnificent towels. All the staff are very friendly and obliging including Beau the resident Black Labrador Dog.

We stayed for 3 nights and failed to understand how the lights etc worked from the control panel beside the bed. We also failed to control the air conditioning which seemed to be hard coded to 22 degrees which is slightly warm for us. The layout of the hotel and low key signage makes finding facilities difficult. Beware of scam taxi drivers. We were charged $63 for a 2km return trip to the hotel! Use an Uber.

Me and partner went to the park Hyatt Auckland for her 30th birthday weekend and it did not disappoint. It was a bit pricey for each night but you can see where every penny goes. A truly remarkable hotel. The room was out of this world, so new, tidy and modern with ample space and amazing lighting features. The bathroom was incredible and it had a great sized balcony. The hydrotherapy room was perfect for just relaxing and unwinding from the stress of the working week before, just what we needed. The pool was also a great feature, with an infinity feature and a view of the viaduct. We loved everything about our stay, and we will definitely be returning as soon as possible.

The treatments in the spa booked out very quickly and we couldn't manage to get one during our stay.

Breakfast selection was great however you could be standing for a while before someone came to seat you. Beautiful location. Hydrotherapy room was amazing.

Check in staff was horrid and did not know what she was doing. Pictures of the king room with balcony on booking.com was false. I felt very cheated by this as you should abide by what you advertise. The view of the room was looking directly into a neon lit building. Check in person stated there was no other rooms available except pent suite. Afterwards checked on booking.com and king room with view was available. So she also gave false information. Not impressed with the service.

The Pantry was awesome...everything we tried on the Menu was great, including the Coffees, BUT a special mention must go to the Chilli Scrambled Eggs! Top notch!! We also had drinks and Tapas twice at the Captains table and that was great also!

I got stuck in a lift for 15 minutes which was bloody claustrophobic, and there was no response from anyone after I sounded the alarm and was shouting for assistance! Finally I got the doors to open, caught another lift, and advised Reception. I didn't have another issue after that!

Loved where the hotel was, quiet, easy walk around the boats, sunny and nice to be my the water. Staff very friendly and helpful. Comfort of the rooms, facilities - the gym was great, breakfast which was included in our rate was incredible! The room was very dark, right temperature and quiet for an awesome sleep.

Room key didn't work for the pool

Loved the Hotel’s attention to detail. From the time I made the reservations any of the staff I have contacted prior to our arrival were nothing but totally helpful & professional. In particular Mitchel. Our rooms were excellent we couldn’t fault anything. Great dining options available. Pool, & spa/sauna area were awesome. Location was perfect. No late night noise. We attended the GP sailing & had a fabulous, fun weekend. Second time we have stayed here & we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend

It is a stunning 5 star hotel! I felt so spoiled from the entrance, during my stay and right until I left the premises. The service from everyone I encountered was excellent. The concierge during my stay was attentive to all my queries and concerns which I rarely had any besides trying to figure out how to get into the pool which they helped me with immediately. The room I booked itself was stunning 10/10. Housekeeping did an amazing job throughout my stay. Room service was so welcoming and well spoken. Although I tried to help with assisting staff at times they didn't want me to lift a finger. So spoiled here I will definitely be booking again!

Smooth check in, great room, one of the best showers I've ever used, comfortable bed, excellent view, meals was to a high standard, comfortable surroundings, the quietest hotel ever (noise wise), attentive & polite staff, relaxing ambience, excellent pool & spa,

Room TV was underwhelming no Netflix just one film channel no options needs updating for the price of room, pillows way to soft, unpleasant odour from toilet room, Due to Auckland Transport incompetence with cancelled ferries had to drive to hotel which added car valet cost. Due to Auckland Council incompetence the walkway bridge was closed which made it difficult to get to the restaurant I reserved. None of the hotels fault.
