We travelled as a a family of three with a 1y9m old son. Before we arrived we had requested the cot and a high chair and everything was ready for us in the room, all responses were fast and informative as well. On arrival we were greeted by very friendly receptionist who explained us everything and helped with the luggage. We stayed at Deluxe Apartment facing the inner garden, and it had atmospheric view of the Porto houses's roofs and Clerigos Bell tower. The apartment had two levels and was very spacious, our kid enjoyed climbing the stairs up and down and keep us on our toes :D The kitchen had all equipment for cooking/cleaning (you need to buy some cooking basics such as salt/pepper, oil). The bedroom had enough storage space for cloths, the beds were super comfy and the bathroom was huge! Everything was extremely clean. There are air conditioners in every room, but we preferred to open the windows as it was not that hot for some fresh air, and it was quiet at night. In the bedroom (upper level) there is a window for which you need to use the buttons to operate it, so it may a good idea to ask the member of the staff to show you how to do that. The breakfast was delicious, it is an extra cost, but it was so worth it - different types of cheese, cold meats, fruits, salads, freshly cooked eggs and baked pastries - already missing it! We enjoyed the garden as well, as our son could burst some energy there while we were enjoying Ruby Port :) The location of the hotel is great - we were able to reach everything we wanted easily. There are some supermarkets nearby or you can use uber eats for groceries delivery. We would like to say a huge thank you to all the staff at the Hotel for making us feeling so comfortable and happy during our stay, the little one was a center of the attention and enjoyed himself a lot too!

The most amazing property. Staff is welcoming and so very friendly; helpful and responsive to your every need. Pedro assisted us in planning a great trip to the Douro and Valley that was wonderful. He and his entire staff go out of their way every day to make their guests happy. The property is beautiful; truly a palace! It was very sad to leave the property after a week there but we will definitely be back.

Beautiful restoration, location, on site parking,large apartment with lovely view, comfortable beds, high quality linens and towels… The best reason to stay here is the EXCELLENT service from a caring and dedicated staff which made the stay feel like a five star hotel. One of us was ill overnight and Tiago called a doctor who was there with in an hour. The next morning Diogo and Marisa were so kind and concerned. If I were to return to Porto I would stay here again without hesitation. Highly recommend!!!

My only semi negative comment is the lack of lighting in the upstairs bedroom which was an issue at night.

Fantastic location, 1 minute from Ponte Louis I bridge. On a main road but not busy at night, as elevated up from the street. The suites are full apartments and are luxurious, spacious and very well equipped. Ours (ground floor by main entrance) has a full equipped kitchen. Large living space, upstairs bedroom and TWO full bathrooms. Very comfortable bed, good air conditioning and free WiFi connection. The on-site service is excellent with a 24/7 manned desk and friendly helpful staff, who can give advice and help with your bookings.

Slight noise transfer from adjacent unit, but not problematic. There is nothing to dislike about the property.

The Palace is nicely located to restaurants, shopping & lots of sightseeing. You can walk everywhere. Our 2 bedroom, 2 bath was comfortable & quiet for 4 persons. Loved the high ceilings. Staff were very friendly & helpful.

Unit was dark during the day so we did need lights on. The second bedroom is on the second floor with no bathroom which made it difficult to go down & up the stairs at night.

We had a lovely stay at Condes de Azevedo for 5 nights. Perdo the concierge greeted us and gave us a lovely intro to Porto and answered all of our questions about the apartment. The room had more than enough space for us to settle in. We didn't use the kitchen that much, but it had everything we needed to make breakfasts in the unit or store snacks. Our unit had access to a shared garden space that was great to go outside to start the day. Since we have been traveling prior to our stay we made use of the laundry machine in the unit to refresh our clothes. The property is in the heart of city center so it was very easy to visit the sites of Porto and we were able to walk to the bridge and catch a sunset right after we got settled.

When our plane time was changed to arrive late in the evening, we were reassured to learn that someone would be on reception all the time to welcome us, and give us keys to our rooms, and so it proved - very good! Staff were all welcoming, friendly and helpful. Really nice ambiance and spacious accommodation.

Room 6 access to the wardrobe was too high and too hard for a relatively small lady to reach - not even a step available to assist!

Room was very roomy, clean, and perfect for our stay.

Concierge was so very helpful. They were very welcoming and helped us make any and all plans, reservations, and tips needed to navigate the city.

The property is in an excellent location with easy access to Porto’s main attractions.

I was in the garden room and unfortunately the seating area for the garden was directly outside my window/door which means I had strangers looking into my room regularly. Yes, I had a screen but that seriously limited the natural light.

My husband and I recently stayed at condes de azevado, a historical palace in Porto, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The room was exceptionally spacious, providing more than enough space to relax and unwind. The staff were extraordinary, always helpful and incredibly nice, making sure all our needs were met with a smile.One of the best aspects of this hotel is its proximity to everything. We found it incredibly convenient to explore the city's main attractions, shops, and restaurants, all within walking distance. Porto itself is a stunning city, full of charm and vibrant culture, and staying at this historical palace made our visit even more memorable.We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Porto. It's the perfect place to stay for a truly enjoyable and hassle-free experience.
