The host was great, the apartment was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Even though it is on a busy pedestrian street the windows are very soundproof and the bedroom is in the back.

Getting to the floor with the suites was a bit odd. You have to enter a centro commercial, go through a door, up some steps, into the elevator to the third floor. However, other than the initial confusion it was very nice.

The location was excellent -- just off the Puerta del Sol and convenient walking distance to everything in old Madrid. Cristian, our host, was wonderful. He was so helpful and personable; he even helped us with our luggage. There is a luggage storage place in the building next to the back lobby entrance where you can store your luggage until check-in. The apartment was spotless, well-furnished, and quite comfortable.

The only hiccup was not knowing how the process worked for accessing the apartment. The door to access the separate elevator lobby automatically locks (good safety feature), and you need to wait for someone to meet you there. Once you are checked in, you have a key to access the elevator lobby. There are some stairs to the elevator, which can be difficult with luggage if you are older or have mobility issues. It is on a pedestrian area, but a taxi can drop you off quite close.

The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed. It felt like a home away from home.It's in a perfect location for walking to everything. The staff were amazing and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Special thanks to Maria who was a true angel when my husband hurt his knee badly on our last day. Not only did she allow us to spend the day in a spare unit so we didn't have to fill in time elsewhere but she even communicated with our driver to arrange a wheelchair and helped us with luggage etc.

Christian met us at the door and helped us with our luggage up to the elevator on the first floor. He showed us around the apartment and showed us how to use the washer/dryer which we greatly appreciated. They gave us fresh towels and more coffee every two days which was nice. The frig had a freezer. The kitchen was a nice size for cooking and basic pots, pans and cooking utensils are supplied. If you intend to cook you'll need your own salt, pepper etc. also no hot pads.The place was very clean and quiet. It was a great location as we could walk to most places we wanted to see. Christian and Maria were very kind and helpful. Christian even took the time to draw us a map of different places nearby to visit and some recommended areas for eating. If we ever have the good fortune to return to Madrid we would definitely stay there again!

We loved the apartment and thought the hosts were wonderful. As someone else mentioned, the suites are located in a mall which is a little confusing at first despite it being well marked at the arenals suites door. Just call, they'll come get you. For people with mobility issues, there is about 10 steps with a little landing halfway up to get to the elevator. There is a railing and lights. They do try to keep the mall clean we saw someone polishing the floor but the leaves kept blowing in as the mall door is kept open. We did not stay out past the closing of the mall but we were given a key to get inside in case we did. Mostly we appreciated the mall as it gave a large sheltered area from people and weather to find the key to the door of the suites.

This apartment exceeded my expectations; updated/modern in a historic setting! Very family friendly, it was extremely clean, provided a full kitchen with all the amenities you would need, had a very comfortable bed, and clean towels provided daily. It was centrally located in Puerta del Sol, so you could walk to stores, restaurants and many historical sites. A few minutes walk to taxi, bus or train if you want to explore outside the area. There is a market and large department store adjacent to the building for all your needs. Christian was very friendly and helpful, providing us with anything we needed, including suggestions for things to do and see, directions to get there, places to eat, and more. I highly recommend this apartment for your visit to Madrid.

This was the best! Not one complaint!

A great place to stay in Madrid. It is literally 2 minutes from Sol metro and there is even a good supermarket in the shopping centre directly behind the apartments. The double glazing was really good at keeping the city noise out. The concierge Christian was especially helpful and gave us some excellent recommendations when we arrived. The only thing that wasn't great was the weather but there's little to do about that! I'd stay there again unreservedly.

Nice and well-equipped accomodation in the center of Madrid. Metro station only 100m away and close to several interesting tourist attractions. The caretaker Christian sent us a whatsapp in advance with his phone number and the reception opening times. Also upon check-out he offered his services for luggage storage and taxi options. Very customer friendly!

We had some trouble getting to the level where the Arenal apartments are. You need to take the first (left) elevator and go to the 3rd floor. The beds were a bit small, but no big deal.

The instructions to enter the property were sent electronically to facilitate after hours entry, and we found the very clear to follow - better than Google maps which took us to the wrong street. Staff were contactable by WhatsApp and provided good advice. The bed and room were comfortable and we enjoyed the extra space in the lounge/kitchen. The location was excellent; close to attractions, public transport and restaurants.

I did not come across washing machine instructions in English - these could have been located in the room or available from the staff but it would have been convenient if they were on the cupboard door.

The location of the apartment could hardly be bettered, just around the corner from Puerto del Sol but 3 floors above the street noise. With the windows closed we heard nothing. The host was on site for several hours each day and kindly booked a taxi to the airport for us. Being able to drop luggage off before check in and holding it after check out was very useful. The apartment was more spacious than we expected, well equipped, and uncluttered so it could be thoroughly cleaned. We would book again if returning to Madrid.

The appartment was well equipped, roomy and very clean. It was nice that there were two toilets in there. The personel was very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent.

The temperature in the appartment was first chilling, only 19 degrees. We asked for some more heating and ended up having too hot in there (24 degrees). We coudn’t adjust the heating by ourselves. It would have been nice if there would have been a view from the appartment. We didn’t have a balcony even thought Booking.com said so.
