Everything was absolutely fine. Rooms are really comfortable and clean.

The only thing to complain is that the swimming pool closes too early, specially in the summer time where 20:00 is still very sun shinning.

New hotel and staff (Caroline) was very welcoming and helped us getting information as to where we were and how to get around. When we told reception about the problems with the room they gave us complimentary breakfast for every day of our stay.

The room was too hot and we had to sleep with the window open for the first few nights and had noise from the traffic outside the hotel. The room was not serviced and no clean towels for the first few days of our stay. Room was only cleaned three times during out stay and not done very well. We had asked for tea and coffee making facilities to be in the room when we made the booking. We had a kettle, cups, spoons and sugar but no tea, coffee or milk. We asked on a couple of occasions for this to be available but it never happened.

Beds were very comfortable. Rooms were clean. Very friendly staff.

There was a very bad smell in the first room we were in (6th floor). Apperently its a 'city of Valencia problem'. We were moved to a room a few floors up (9th floor). There was no bad smell there. However, if the hotel were fully booked we would not have been able to cope with that smell for more than 10 minutes. The pool was tiny, too many people. Kids playing and balls flying everwhere. (I do understand kids need to play). However it was nice to dip in on a hot day. Location was a bit far from the beach, which of course I knew before booking. No aironditoning in the lobby with 40 degrees outside.

Many public transportation available, hotel facilities were great, even used their laundry service and it was pretty fast (clothes were washed and ironed the same day). A variety of food options for breakfast.

The cleaning service wasn't the best. We stayed for 9 days and only once we had a decent cleaning service (including a mop). Also, we are usually leaving tips for whoever cleans our room because we know it's not an easy job. However, one of the cleaning ladies wanted to enter and "start the cleaning" when my wife was about to leave the room. When we got back (about 3 hours later) the tips was gone, but not a single thing was touched on the room, so we assumed she just wanted the tips for herself.

Perfect location for what we wanted to do in València and the metro was located nearby. The shopping centre next door was a real bonus with lots of dining options, a supermarket and department store and lots of other shops. The hotel was modern and seemed to have been recently renovated. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely big breakfast room with lots of choice, both hot and cold. Very efficient staff kept tables cleared and clean.

The strong musty smell in the corridor, (5th floor) especially first thing in the morning. There was a power outage one evening which was quite scary as reception wasn’t contactable. Fortunately it only lasted less than an hour. We wanted to try the rooftop pool bar one afternoon but the music was so loud it was like being in a dance club. We just turned around and left.

The location, the pool, the accommodation were great. Friendly and helpful staff, good cleaning, quite and big rooms

I asked for a room far from the pool and bar and was given one exactly under them. Their was some repair work done on the bar terrace during our stay, and 2 of 4 nights we woke up because of that at 8-9 o'clock. We were told that the workers will do it only after 10, which wasn't true in fact. But we were given a complementary breakfast due to this situation. Also we were offered to switch room, but we were tired and refused. All in all the stuff helped us in a certain way. For some reason 1 of 2 bathrobes was taken from the room by cleaning staff on the 3d day, we asked to be given another one instead, but they didn't provide it till the end of our stay.

The staff was exceptional from the front desk till the serving staff at their restaurant. Everyone knew english mostly and spoke and made us feel comfortable instantly. The hotel was very easy to access but far away from the beach areas and main spots. If you have a car it's a great space to stay. There is a mall right next to this hotel and parking there is comfortable with ample space. Since we had our car with us it was a blessing not to be looking for car parking every time you step out and get back. The breakfast menu had various options and a lot of variety for all types even vegetarians. The rooms were clean and decent. Beds were comfortable. There are water coolers on a couple of floors which can be used to fill up water when required. Rooms otherwise don't keep Water bottles which are very co friendly. A comfortable hotel to stay in for a family crowd specially! Safe clean and very accessible and helpful staff.

The room was very small. After the sofa pull out bed there was hardly any space for us to walk or open our suitcases. And we stayed there for 5 days which was very difficult to handle in a small space for 3 people. We tried upgrading and there was none available. The descriptions before booking were not clear on the size and space of the room so had to go with a guess since pictures also were single on the site which didn't give a clear idea. The elevators wait time was ridiculously time consuming in the morning breakfast time specially. The lifts wouldn't come for 20-25 mins and would come full otherwise. That was painful to wait for.

I had a nice stay at Novotel València Lavant. The hotel is renovated, modern, stylish, and well-maintained, with all the comforts you’d expect from a quality Novotel property. The rooms were spacious, clean, and quiet, with comfortable beds. Reliable WiFi. Mini fridge with water, soft drinks etc The staff were friendly and always ready to help. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. The breakfast buffet was very good with lots of options and the breakfast sitting area modern and spacious. The hotel provides a modern gym and outdoor rooftop pool. The location is very good with easy access to public transport (the hotel is situated at the Nuevo Centro with lots of shops, restaurants, cafes, etc). Conveniently located next to Turia Gardens and Turia metro station for easy access to city centre. Overall a very nice stay.

- Very modern and stylish hotel. - Awesome Breakfast Buffet, very broad selection of high-quality breakfast options, including cava and mimosas. Warm, cold and sweet options. - Very cool rooftop pool and terrace with bar including food and snacks. - Good gym with good equipment (for a hotel). There are also to good commercial gyms close by alternatively. Many people also go for a run at the nearby park. - Very friendly and helpful staff.

- I have rarely encountered that many children in a hotel. There were almost as many children as adult guests. This makes the breakfast area very busy and creates the necessary hustle and bustle. Not for everyone. - Noise insulation towards the hallway could be better. Doors slam shut and that's very audible in the room. So if the neighbour (or their children) decide to go in and out the rooms at 7am, you will definitely hear it. - The location is right next to a shopping mall. Not the most romantic environment, but on the upside you have a lot of (good) facilities close by.

Wonderful location (1 min from metro, supermarket and shopping mall, 15-20 min walk to the city center), open bar on the roof for vaping/smoking, convenient good size and nicely furnished room, big bottles of shampoo/body washer/soap (no need to take yours), clean, fresh. The staff was friendly and helpful. BEST hair dryer we have ever had in hotels! No iron though, which wasn't a problem for us.

the only thing - there weren't hotel slippers in the room when we arrived and we got them only on the next evening (the floors were cold, and walking barefoot wasn't an option, and we hate to wear shoes inside the living space)
