The property is really easy to get to from the main road and in a perfect location for any Honiton based weddings. We got a taxi to GreenAcre Events for a wedding, which was about 20 mins. The staff were lovely, so friendly and welcoming. Food was AMAZING! Breakfasts came out piping hot, and the continental breakfast bits were also really good quality and obviously home made. The pub and rooms are dog friendly and I have to give it to the cleaners, you won’t get even the slightest waft of dog anywhere.

We had to book at very short notice (the same day) but the staff could not have been more helpful. They managed to fit us in for a meal despite the restaurant being really busy. They were all, without exception, friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious, both in the evening and for the breakfast the following morning. Room was clean and comfortable, we both slept really well on both nights we stayed. We would stay there again without hesitation.

From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a friendly smile and professional attitude nothing was too much trouble The Inn has a great selection all of food and drinks, The accommodation was spotless and very comfortable The quality of the food was outstanding My wife is gluten intolerant, she was well looked after at dinner and breakfast, the staff where very well trained on this issue The owners and all of the staff were exceptional If we happen to be in the area in the future this will be my first port of call

We often come here for meals with friends or by ourselves. This time we stayed at the hotel because we had had 3 days without electricity because of the hurricane and there was no heating at all at home. The atmosphere at the Greyhound is lovely. Comfortable and cosy, especially with their beautiful Christmas decorations, too. The attention from the staff was very comforting, and they really looked after us well, knowing of our predicament at home. The hotel rooms are lovely, comfortable, and well equipped. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

Food was excellent, well cooked and presented and great portions. Staff couldn’t do enough to help. Room was newly decorated, calm and relaxed. Shower worked well and room was bright and all needs catered too.

Unfortunately, our only gripe was the bed. On one side it was really sagging and it was extremely hard. We were unsure if it was due to being near its sale by date or just not to our taste. The left edge sagging made it difficult not to roll of the bed. Bedding was excellent and delivered a good temperature with ability to open windows. Would have easily got 10’s all down the line if not for the bed.

Our room was comfortable and clean. Good firm bed and powerful shower. The staff were friendly, in particular our waitress this morning for breakfast (28th April at 9am - 9.30am) was lovely. A real asset to the Greyhound country Inn.

Initially, it was quite loud below our room, every time someone went in or out of the Inn, we heard it quite a bit. Our room was directly over the entrance door. However this quietened down considerably when we went to bed, so all okay then.

This country inn was absolutely delightful.The staff were wonderful, helpful and friendly.The restaurant was great,I had dinner on three evenings.The standard of the food was perfect.My room was lovely and comfortable.The whole atmosphere was great.I would recommend it to everybody.I am so glad I chose the Greyhound Country Inn for my stay in Devon.

There was nothing to dislike.

The room was perfect . A good size room and spotless . The room was very comfy and warm even in the very wet day I was there . The bathroom was a good size and that was also spotless . Good size car park on site . The owners and staff were lovely very friendly polite and helpful can’t recommend their staff enough . The restaurant had a good choice of food and the food was amazing cooked to perfection and very tasty . The bar was well stocked and had a very good choice of ciders .

Breakfast good. Freshly cooked omelette delicious. Location good enroute from Cornwall back home as a stopping place. Good food in the evening. Staff all friendly and welcoming. It was lovely waking up to countryside views.

Accommodation was a little tiny but adequate. Only one bedside table in double room and headboard a bit tatty. But ok. Car park and back of hotel not to the same standard as front

great welcome, a nice clean room, fantastic food, a breakfast to die for with plenty of choice, the owners and staff could'nt do enough for you, nothing was too much trouble, just brilliant we hope to go back again
