We liked it was a little walk into town and I only do mean a little walk 5-8 mins if that . If you are not skiing than it’s perfect but I can see why people might say it’s a walk in their boots .. Zermatt is not a big place though so everywhere is close. You are close to the train station It is a sister hotel with the Alpen hotel and spa and we were offered reduced price of the spa which was gorgeous so that was a great perk. I would stop hear again , Zermatt is magical in the winter .

I liked the majority of everything , the only small detail is something makes a loud noise frequently throughout the night not sure if it’s some sort of generator . I’d advice taking ear plugs

Spacious, comfortable and warm apartment.

Had to clean all dishes before departure, because there was a warning that 75 CHF would be charged otherwise. It was also a bit strange we had to get rid of our rubbish.

This property is operated by the Alpen Resort & Spa. If you arrive Zermatt earlier the check-in time, you can leave your luggage at the resort. In the room, there're kitchenware with oil, salt and papper. And you can buy groceries from Denner which is not far from the apartment. There's a balcony where I can see the Matterhorn clearly all day & night.

In the map, it seems far from the train station. But when I've been there for 2 days, it's easy too walk. However, on the first day, I suggest to pay for shuttle service from train station to the apartment because you will have someone to help you bring your luggage up to the apartment. After that, everything is easy.

The two apartments we rented were spacious, clean and quite well equipped. The area was quiet at night. And because we visited during off-season, the price was very reasonable. We would stay at Apartment Patricia again.

The Wifi signal in the apartments was spotty. Sometimes it was fast and stable, other times it was slow. Occasionally it dropped out altogether. The location of Apartments Patricia was some distance from the center of activity in Zermatt, but that was made clear before we made our reservations, so it was not a surprise. And there is a stop for Zermatt's free bus service that is very close to the apartments. Finally, the automated check-in machine at the front door of the building might be daunting to some people. It operated well for us, but took some time to move through all the steps until the machine dispensed our access cards. Patience is required.

We had a great experience staying at this duplex wooden villa. Excellent location: Very convenient for accessing the city center and major attractions. Spacious and well-furnished: The rooms were large, with high-quality bedding, a well-maintained bathroom, and all essential utensils provided. Smooth check-in: The process was hassle-free and quick. Relaxing balconies: Spacious balconies with seating offered a perfect spot to unwind. Well-equipped: All necessary amenities were provided, making it ideal for a longer stay.

Honestly I don't find anything to improve

Easy to find. After alighting from the train we caught the green line free bus to Spies bus stop (two stops) and it was an easy walk with heavy luggage to the apartment.

Annoying that the curtains were too short and not long enough to cover the window in the bedroom. Also did not appreciate being woken by workmen at 6:45am every morning. The view was less than expecting. Sure there were mountains but the work site spoilt this. A clothes hoist would have been appreciate to dry clothes instead of the very small one attached to the bathroom radiator.

Very clean, modern, lovely balcony. Kitchenette was well equipped.

Check in was a bit of a hassle. When we arrived we thought it was self check in but the self check in kiosk wasn’t working. It seems they knew this but did not give a heads up. So we had to walk back to the sister resort to check in, which we had passed on the way there. It wasn’t a very far walk but still a hassle in the heat and after a long day of travel to get there. It’s on the outskirts of Zermatt so not the closest to everything.

Very neat and clean property . Amazing apartment with Matterhorn view . Location is 6-7 min walk from zermatt station . Enjoyed our stay .

I requested little early check inn because we were coming from interlaken and were very sick with flu . They refused . Other properties were very courteous to accommodate . Patricia apartment asked us to put our luggage in their fellow neighbouring property (I appreciate) .killed our time on the street with fever and came back at check in time . We checked out around 7.30 am in the morning .

Large room, and we paid for a view of the Matterhorn and got a nice view and large balcony to sit on and enjoy it. Comfortable bed and full bath.

Confusing room layout - because of the single elevator and long queue to use it, we climbed the stairs to try and find our room. However, there was no direction from the stairs to our room. Is a fair way out of town and no common areas other than entry with vending machines. Like all of Zermatt, it was nice but pricey for what it is.

The view from the deck was outstanding. The Matterhorn could be seen from the small balcony that contained a table and two chairs. The grounds were under major construction and traversing up the road was a bumpy walk with luggage and the noise during the work days was invasive. We did not spend much time in the room during work times so it was not awful and a cup of tea on the balcony was delightful. Convenient to walk from train and everywhere you wanted in Zermatt. Travel partner had some struggles walking and getting a taxi was inexpensive and easily available with friendly service.
