The room was beyond expectations, very clean and comfortable, the bathroom very clean and spacious. The mini bar was well stocked and with reasonable prices. The hosts are very nice and helpful, they gave us nice recommendations for attractions and also for places where you can have a nice breakfast or lunch/dinner. Underground parking is available nearby and the price is very reasonable compared to other locations (12 euro/24h). Also, the hotel is very close to the bus/metro/ railway stations but you can also easy walk towards old port/ aquarium/ old town. However, it was recommended by others and also by the hotel to avoid small/narrow streets during the night ("shady people and offers" can be encountered).

The rooms are small but very clean, and all the staff are very friendly and understanding. The only issue was the mosquito problem, which I believe is not specific to the facility but rather to Genoa in general. Still, adding mosquito screens to the windows could be helpful. The location is very central, just a two to three-minute walk from Brignole station, which is a significant advantage in a city where the metro is quite limited. I definitely recommend it.

Room was simple and clean. The location of Hotel Fiume worked very well for us. We had easy access to the city center and the Brignole train station which allowed us to hop on a train or bus with ease to meet up with family. We were close to Piazza Colombo and Via San Vincenzo where there are plenty of bar/cafes, restaurants, and plenty of places to get some excellent focaccia!!! One of my favorite cafes is Gabsy off of Piazza Colombo where I would get an excellent cappuccino!!!

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Located just across the way from one of Genoa's main train stations with connections to just about everywhere else in Italy, Genova-Brignole. Also near several bus lines in the same area and right around the corner from Via Settembre, a shopping avenue. Piazza de Ferrari, with its massive water fountain, is about a 20 minutes walk away. The hotel itself is refreshing, fun and colorful. I loved the option to play around with lighting in the room. The room was just the right size (for me) and had good amenities. It was clean and well stocked. Wifi was good, just cut off sometimes depending where in the room you were. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, I loved my stay and would do so again if ever I come back to Genoa.

There was a weird smell that permeated throughout the hotel that was similar to the smell of vomit. I found the toilet seat in my room very uncomfortable to sit on, even for just a minute; I don't know why. Those were the only 2 things I didn't like.

Very friendly staff in the lobby and ready to help for any questions! The room was very clean and comfortable! And the location is great since all touristic attractions including the port can be reached by foot.. approximately 15 minutes walking to the city center

If you are traveling by car, you need to be aware that parking is really expensive. We had to pay 24€ for one night at the closest parking lot of the hotel (Piazza della Vittoria)

The hotel had just been finished to a high standard. The rooms were impeccable, and the bathroom / shower room was big enough for an adult and 2 teenagers. Sky sports in the room meant that we could take a few hours to ourselves, watch the football, and take a break from walking around the beautiful city. The owners helped us locate all the amazing sights and really couldn't do enough for us All in all, it's a fantastic stay and was a welcomed break from walking around the amazing city.

We loved the hotel ! Fabrizzio amd Daniela were amazing. The rooms are very modern. The whole place is super upgraded. Great beds and super clean. The location is perfect. Lots of shopping and wonderful restaurants around. 100 mts from the train station !!! We'll be back on our next time in Genoa.

Great location, right near the airport. Clean and comfortable with very friendly staff. They let us leave our bags there after check out so we could wander the town before we caught our next train. Would stay there again for sure!

Was not an issue for us, but there is no elevator, so if you have mobility issues it may be hard to stay here.

Close to public transportation and central area. Main train station was about 2 blocks away. Tons of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Rooms were modern and kept very clean. Space was fine for our family of four. A/C worked like a champ! All front desk staff were super helpful. I would stay again.

Our stay at Hotel Fiume was great, we would rate it as at least 3 star hotel (even though it has only 2). The reception staff was very helpful and friendly, the room was squeaky clean and modern, the bathroom squeaky clean as well and very spacious. Even the mini-bar was rich and cheap. Very close to the Genova Brignole station (very helpful) and also having a lot of cafes and restaurants nearby. 100% recommend.
