The staff were extremely friendly, the room was amazing. Location was good (but still use taxi)

When booking the hotel through Booking.com the price that was offered was good, but there was no clear information with regarding having to pay extra for parking at the hotel. Paying extra for parking or for any extras that are not in the price offered by Booking.com should be made clearly visible and not hidden when booking any accommodation through Booking.com

Great location for a match at Croke Park The staff were very friendly and good The room 414 was excellent and the executive lounge was a very nice surprise The room was ready for an early check as well

We had breakfast while we waited for our room to be a available which I paid for separately at €19 per person was I have told is dearer than a guest rate at €15 pp? Is this correct? Also my agreed rate for the room was €313 and I was charged by the hotel €343 - later when I questioned this I was told they added breakfast on for the next day? Which I found strange as I didn’t ordered it as we were leaving at 6.30am to catch an early flight back, I have been informed that this will be refunded in due course but this should not have happened in the first place and if I didn’t check it at the time I would not have realised that I had been over charged!!

The staff in the hotel are really lovely, welcoming and friendly, they are a credit to you. From the moment we checked in we were greeted with a smile and a chat. We were there for our mothers 70th birthday and there was a lovely treat for her in the room on arrival, she loved her birthday macarons so thank you so much for that, it was a really nice touch. The staff were also very accommodating in helping us surprise her with a birthday cake after our meal, she loved it and was delighted with how friendly all of the bar team were to her, especially our waitress, (I'm not sure how to spell her name but it sounded like Carla) she was so attentive and friendly and made my mother feel special on her birthday. Thank you! The room was nice and spacious, comfortable beds and really nice pillows. The shower was excellent, nice and powerful and there was nice big bath towels.

My only suggestion for the room would be to freshen up the carpets as there was a very musty smell of feet in the room, not pleasant. We also had to pay €15 for parking for the night, despite staying in the hotel. When I asked about it I was told the free parking is only free for those who book direct with the hotel, as I booked via booking.com I had to pay for parking. I think parking should be free for all staying in the hotel, regardless of how you booked, especially as we also had our meal and drinks there too.

I liked the location as it was north of the city and I had an early morning dash for the ferry in Belfast, the route out of Dublin could not have been simpler. Otherwise we used a mixture of taxis, trains and walking for our excursions, which included Dalkey and Howth. Carparking was easy, food good and staff extremely friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable, we had a bath and shower, and all well supplied with toiletries. We did use the bar one evening and, as hotel bars go, this one was very lively and we chatted easily to some of the other guests.

The staff was very friendly, the room was cleaned and well stocked (they even had water and little Biscoff cookies for us). The lobby was beautiful and room service was available one site - food was delicious. The bed was very comfortable, hairdryer/ iron available, both a bathtub and shower, overall very comfortable stay.

The location was not as central to Dublin as it seemed online, keep in mind it is over a mile walk to central Dublin (we didn't mind) or a short uber. The water pressure was also extremely low in our room. Nothing that would have made me stray from booking here though.

Room was perfect with everything we needed. Bath is separate to shower which gives a choice. The location of the hotel is beside Croke Park GAA Stadium and within walking distance to City Centre, Hospitals and not far from all routes throughout the country. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, they could not do enough to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

We booked a room for 3 adults but the tea making set up was only for two people and water/glasses for two people. We had 3 bath towels but only 2 hand towels. As we are family, it wasnt a big deal to us. However, when we rang reception, they swiftly remedied this issue.

The hotel is very nice, location is great and it’s very comfortable and spacious Hotel.

There is only one thing that is a negative for the hotel. I have stayed at the hotel many times, for gigs and business events in Croke Park etc. the Bar staff, while plenty of them on, lack much of what would be expected on busy gig nights or the like! The process is slow. The machines are slow, swiping cards to process payments. All nice people but in my experience they lack any “go” slow pace and as a customer I can say that anyone at the bar are very frustrated. No sense of who’s next causes frustration. Look over you rather than at you in case you ask for a drink. Great place, just that one thing that is quite annoying especially as someone whom is entertaining customers in the hotel

Upon arrival, the reception was lovely. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The room we were given was really nice and clean. Had alot of room, including the massive bathroom which included a separate bath and shower. The breakfast was also very good and had alot of different varieties of food selections to choose from.

The communication from different staff members was slightly confusing for the breakfast. As we did have inclusive breakfast when we initially booked our rooms, we were told by one staff member that the money would be deducted from my account once our stay was over. However, when we did check out a couple of days later, another staff member told us it was not deducted and was informed that they do not take the full credit of payment till after check out. Otherwise, every other communication given to us was satisfactory. The only other thing is the lack of transportation there is to get to the venue.

Our stay at this hotel came at the end of our 10-day adventure through Ireland, and it was exactly what we needed to rest, refuel, and prepare for the journey home. As our taxi driver brought us across the city from the Irish Rail station, he explained a bit about the area—and we were pleasantly surprised to find the hotel located just across from Croke Park. What a fun landmark to be near! Upon check-in, we were greeted with warm smiles and informed that our request for a room near the lift had been accommodated—something we deeply appreciated, as my mother has limited mobility. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and featured the largest bathroom we’d seen during our entire trip! Since the hotel sits in a more industrial area of the city, we opted to stay on-site for both dinner and breakfast. It turned out to be a great decision. We were able to book breakfast through the front desk, which brought the cost down to just $15 per adult—and since my son ate free, the average came out to about $10 per person. Incredible value for a full Irish breakfast, and the food was absolutely spot on for both meals. This hotel gave us exactly what we needed at the right time: friendly service, excellent food, and a comfortable stay to close out a fantastic trip.

Honestly, there wasn’t anything during our stay that stood out as a negative. Everything worked smoothly, and the staff made it easy to feel at ease
