Great location. Lovely room with balcony plus a breakfast that would feed 4 persons, not just 2! Chris answered all of OUR questions with grace. Taxi back to airport was on time and place at 0600am.

This hotel is magic for persons under the age of 55 and fit. As we were both 77 and 76 ( still reasonably fit) we found the 2 sets of 15 steps up to Reception hard work with big cases. Chris did the chore for us, however we had an early flight to Athens several days later and the desk is not manned over night ....................................therefore getting our cases down 30 steps and keeping as quiet as possible was hard work. Perhaps consider installing narrow wooden ramps, that enables customers, to slide there cases up and down with ease.

Amazing accommodation, location and staff. I had a health condition before I traveled which could have affected my trip. George continually sent me messages to check on my progress which meant so much to us. Luckily, I was okay to travel and we experienced an amazing holiday and stay at Belmondo Hotel. Our room was clean and spacious with everything we needed and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The location couldn’t be any better and very quiet even though we were in the centre of the old town. We will definitely be returning.

The room was very beautiful. There was a wide variety at breakfast, and having it served to our rooms was wonderful. The location was excellent — right on the shopping street and with the harbor just behind you.

They had told us that they would offer us wine for our anniversary, but they didn’t keep their promise. There was no place in our room to put our wet swimsuits and towels. It was also very difficult to wash our face in the sink because you can’t get close to it due to the faucet.It’s not really possible to park the car nearby.

An absolutely perfect location. My husband and I were traveling through Greece for our honeymoon and this was by far our best accommodation during the trip. Our balcony was breathtaking and the room had a good amount of space for two people. Breakfasts are delicious and delivered promptly. The whole staff really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I love finding funky and fun hotels with memorable features - between the Hammam, the balcony, the location right above the water, this was one of the best I’ve found!

Another year and another fantastic stay and experience in this lovely hotel in the heart of Chania. The hotel is perfectly located and offers outstanding views on the old harbour. The rooms are nicely decorated and you will appreciate the attention to all the details. Dora and the staff are so welcoming and so kind. They were so helpful with advice when necessary. They really contributed again to a beautiful experience, and I am again very grateful to them. If you are ever in Chania, look no further and book the Belmondo Hotel.

Location and view were excellent. the steam room in the shower was a great surprise and much appreciated. Walking distance to all of the old town and an excellent balcony for breakfast in the morning overlooking the old harbour.

If you have your own vehicle the location is a problem as parking is a very big problem. You also have to carry your bags a fair distance from the closest parking which is not ideal and can get you off to a bad start.

The location was absolutely perfect. There was a lovely terrace with a view of the Venetian Harbour. You could step outside your door and have immediate access to stores and restaurants. However, you could also close off the room with shutters and drapes for peace and quiet. Each morning the staff served an amazing breakfast to our room. We were thrilled with our stay and will return again.

The view from our room and location were just just amazing! All the staff were lovely and so helpful. Our room was gorgeous and spacious. We were only sad we didn't find time to use the hamam which I'm sure would have been excellent too! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a stay in Chania old town.

The in room breakfast was nice, and we enjoyed it each morning, but to be given a choice about some of the options would be excellent.

The location is superb and the view from our room was perfect! We looked out at the harbor, the lighthouse, the shores and restaurants and the mosque with the city wall behind it. We loved sitting on our balcony for the sunsets and people watching. Our room was tastefully decorated, large and very clean.

I loved everything about it. I would warn folks though that there are two fights of stairs to get to the rooms.

Our stay was great! The staff were very hospitable and friendly. Dora and Effie could not have been more helpful. Our room was amazing with a small balcony that overlooked the harbour.it was so relaxing having a drink in the evening and watching the world go by. The room was large and had the best shower. Breakfast was served in your room each morning and was slightly different each day and was all that we needed. Close to attractions, shopping and restaurants.

Needed to close the balcony doors at night as it could be noisy. Also was not given water each day. These are such little things.
