I wasn’t too sure what to expect after reading all the bad reviews, but this hotel is perfectly fine and you get exactly what you pay for. The room is clean, the bathroom is big, shower is nice and hot with excellent water pressure. The room was cleaned and the bed made every day during my 4 - day stay. Reception staff were efficient and friendly. I had a room facing the main road with traffic & a tram, but was able to sleep well with earplugs in. The location is ideal, within a two minute walk from Rennweg train station with a direct connection to the airport, the tram outside the door brings you to the centre- which is also only a 15 min walk away. I didn’t pay for breakfast but there are plenty of shops, bakeries, cafés and restaurants within a short walking distance. This is a simple but nice hotel.

There was an ever so faint smell of smoke in the room, the previous guest must’ve been smoking in there. Glass wall in the shower was inefficient and floor flooded slightly after every shower.

Comfortable beds - but not the pillows. If you, like me, have a bad neck, ask for an extra (they dont have them in the room). Quiet neighborhood with great public transport options - and walking distance to museums, budget eateries, etc.Helpful front desk. Enough storage for our 9 day stay.

No minifridge. The bathroom was not very clean to start with, and they never cleaned it or swept the room floor during the entire 9 days we spent there. They never changed the linnens either - yet the towels were changed daily, even when we left them on the hangers.

You can have a 30 ish minute walk to the city center from the hotel. Also, to get to the airport, you can take the train from Rennweg (literally 3 min away from the hotel) and be there in max 30 min.

The bathroom is a bit small, even as a solo traveler you might feel you do not have enough space. But you can manage.

Very good location to everything, up the road from direct airport train route. Older hotel in Rennweg, very comfortable and just perfect for the price. They definitely do not deserve some of the awful reviews on here. If you want five star pay hundreds around the corner. But value for money ..... this place has it !!!

Our room was comfortable and clean, there is not air conditioning but we didn't need it during our stay. The position is good, you can get to the main attraction by bus (very close to the hotel). There also supermarkets and a very good Pizza restaurant nearby. Reception is open 24/7 which is very useful for late check in. Very good quality/price compromise.

Bathroom is very small but clean, it is ok for for a short stay. There is a garage inside the hotel but the price is quite high (18 euros per day), on the street you have to pay for parking anyway. We didn't have breakfast because it was crazy expensive (18 euros per person).

We liked the hotel vibe very much. The decor and feel was very welcoming and comfortable. The location was perfect for us as it was close to where we wanted to be. The transport links were easy and quick to use; both tram and underground subway. The breakfast was varied and of good quality and served in a lovely traditional alpine hotel style room. We loved it. Extremely good value for money. Our floor was getting renovated and it will all look lovely when it's complete. Very nice hotel which we would return to and recommend.

The location was excellent, close to a train station that took me directly from the airport, & also close to a tram stop that took me to wherever I wanted to go in the city. The room was cold at first, because the only heater was behind a piece of furniture; but when I mentioned it to reception, they delivered an additional heater very quickly.

The cleaning staff were awful. Some days they didn't clean at all, & one one day they flooded the room & just left it like that for me to find when I returned from my outing. (Reception was very good about mopping up the water when I told them.)

The hotel is good. A big plus is that the tram runs frequently and is close. Top location There are pharmacies, supermarkets and restaurants near the hotel, is comfortable. At the hotel reception the girl speaks Russian, a very nice plus. The hotel has machines with snacks, tobacco and water, that's cool. The hotel itself is not super new, but we were happy with the room, it’s spacious and not bad, it’s clean, there’s cleaning service.

The bathroom is extremely uncomfortable, it’s small, the curtain in the shower doesn’t help, everything is wet at once, because it’s very cramped in there. You need to wait 5-7 minutes for hot water, as it will be cold first.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. I would rate the breakfast 1000/10 if it was possible. The rooms are a bit outdated but they are renovating the hotel. The lobby is charming and if you arrive before check-in you can leave your luggage in a designated luggage room. The hotels location is also perfect, the hauptbahnhof is around 20min walking distance but public transport is also available so you can easily visit the tourist attractions. I know that there's no such thing as a perfect trip but the breakfast and the hotel staff made up for it. Overall it was a pleasant stay for us.

There was no air-condition in our room but we had ventilators so it wasn't that bad.

The hotel is quite nice, non so far from the city center of Vienna, walking for prox more th 1 Km or taking the tram nr 71 really close to the hotel that brings you in the center (ring, staatsoper etc.) or taking other buses also in the night. From the airport with S7 or regional train you'll arrive in 20 minute to the hotel close to the train station Rennweg. Historical Belvedere palace/museum is really cose walking hundreds meters. There are some automatic machine h24 at tha ground floor of the Hotel for cofee or other things and the Reception is h24. Te rooms are quite nice, and big with furniture of mountain style . Close to the hotel there are bars, restaurants, fast food, supermarket (Lidl , DM, DIPA etc.) etc.

I had a room close to the lift and with another door inside (may be for a family, in case opening the internal door having a double - double room) so I could listen the other conversation from my room and the noises outside the main door. Tv was not working (antenna calbe was broken) but I didn't use it visiting Vienna the all time.
