The room was really well designed and the location was excellent! Loved that we could open the windows and feel like we were in the town center. We were amazed at how well the kitchen was equipped, although we didn't do any cooking. Lots of great restaurants in the surrounding areas as well as a quick stop to the COOP for groceries. Laundry room on the premises was a nice touch. Check in and check out was easy. Bathroom was clean and modern. Also, we received a Lucerne visitor card for those who are wondering. Overall would certainly recommend!

The wifi was a bit of a struggle for us. I was able to locate the wifi and the signal was strong but for some reason it would only work intermittently and was a bit unpredictable.

The room was super big! its as if we are at a penthouse haha. the facilities also complete, cooking related especially. The room was clean with an amazing view. We very much enjoy our stay here even-though its only 1 night.

We have a bit of trouble in the self checkin desk since its our first time (We also see confused other guests in front on the machine) and no one there to help, but finally we able to figure it out ourselves. And we get level 6 so we need to carry our luggages for at least 2 floor up.

The location of The Lubo was amazing, right in the heart of everything. The room was great, not massive but an adequate size for 2 people. Good AC, had a TV, a safe etc. Bathroom was great, nice shower and spacious. Self-checkin process was smooth and easy for me, you just have to make sure to fill out the relevant forms in advance and pay otherwise it can get a little complicated. If you pay in advance, all you need to do is get your room key which was super easy to do. We arrived early and left our bags in a storage room. There is also a laundry area.

There was only one self checkin counter which is not great as queues can build up and it takes only one person to have an issue with the machine and everyone ends up waiting ages. The directions to the luggage storage room were not clear. I was told to go to the cafe where there was a storage room but this wasn’t accurate. The storage room is in the hotel itself, on the first floor (it is NOT locked so best not to leave anything valuable there). There should also be better signage for guests to know that there is an elevator which can be accessed from outside (next to the cafe). Especially useful if you have large bags. The pillows were too thin/flat for me.

It is well located near to Old town, all the shops, grocery markets are near by. The train/Boat station are just 10 min walk away so easy to manage with the kids. We opted family room, which is comfortable for kids and parents. The facilities were good.

The check-in guidance could be better. The facility has two entrance, one main which has lots of stairs, there is in the back which has direct lift to go to any floor. This information could be handy at the entrance to avoid picking your luggage through the stairs. The online mobile checking didn't work at all, end up taking the card then able to access the facilty without the issues.

The apartment was incredibly comfortable! We loved it! Very spacious, with a separate hallway for shoes and belongings. Our room had a wonderful view of the city center. Everything was thoughtfully arranged down to the smallest details. There’s a kitchen with dishes, and even a dishwasher. Lots of power outlets and ports. Clean! There is also a shared area where you can make tea and use the washing machines (very convenient). Easy self check-in process.

We arrived a bit early and wanted to leave our luggage at the hotel. I had written in advance to ask if that was possible. However, when we arrived, we discovered that the storage rooms were accessible only to staff. Luckily, there happened to be a staff member at the property who helped us and even checked us in early! Another minor issue: I received the online check-in link several times in a row, but Booking.com automatically removes all links you send. So keep that in mind. Also, we couldn’t check out properly because the front desk doesn’t allow check-out before 8 a.m. So we had to leave the key cards at the desk. But we notified the hotel, and everything turned out fine!

Centrally located hotel within walking distance to grocery stores and restaurants. It also about 10-15mins walk from the train station. It’s totally self service here and I would advise using their app to open main doors initially and then use their kiosk located by the restaurant to encode a key card as the app can be glitchy. We took the room with kitchenette and were assigned the top floor and you need to be aware that you’ll have to navigate some stairs to get to the top floor rooms. The kitchen we got was ok and served its purpose. Do note it doesn’t have a microwave if you’re planning to get microwave ready meals. All in all, I would say it’s a good value for money hotel.

Lovely spacious rooms with the kitchen being a useful addition to the room. Laundry and tea-making facilities on site (although the boiling water tap was broken when we were visiting). The coffee shop attached offered all kinds of drinks and a decent menu of largely asian fusion as well as pastries. Super central location could not be beaten!

the self-check in model meant that there is no reception desk or staff on hand if there is an issue. My friend burned her hand using the kitchen in the room but we couldn't find a first aid kit or anyone on hand to help.

Excellent central location for looking around the town and just a short walk from the railway station. Room and bathroom were clean and the bedroom had a useful safe for valuables. We had no issues with noise from other guests, and we were on the first floor (i.e. above the entrance floor) overlooking the street, which was also pretty quiet. There was a laundry room which we didn’t use but other guests clearly found it useful. Not fancy, but perfectly acceptable for a short stay.

I would have liked the ability to make a hot drink in our room, but this seems to be a rarity in Switzerland. The bar below the accommodation did provide hot drinks in a morning, but it wasn’t cheap. Other than that I had no contact with any staff so can’t comment on them.

First off, Lucern is gorgeous and so worth a visit! The Lobo was located right in the middle of the historic city center. Couldn't be a better location for walking and exploring the incredible city. The room was plenty large enough for 2 people and very modern decor. The kitchenette had everything needed to cook in room to save some money during an expensive Switzerland vacation. I think we loved the free coffee 24-7 the most! This was a cycling vacation for us and we did some amazing rides either right from the room or via the train system that is very easy to navigate.

Really nice hotel. Located right in the historic center of town and close to just about everything. The room was very spacious and clean. We didn't interact with personnel at all due to the check-in system, but since everything was perfect there was no need. We also really liked that you could easily cancel any room cleaning.

It is relatively expensive, but that could just be Luzern standards. Pillows were standard hotel bags of air and nothing. Also, the bathroom was a bit on the dark side.
