Location works for me

For the first time ever, I had a complaint about the breakfast because the hot food had not been replenished and I had had a very small window to eat before I had to leave, so I ended up grabbing croissant and leaving. 2nd point to note is I’ve probably stayed for about 30 nights in the past year across multiple bookings and something I would recommend is replaced in all of the bathrooms are the soap and shampoo dispensers in the shower as the pump doesn’t retract so you have to press down down and pull up the pump on the bottles … only a small criticism but that issue is present in every room I’ve ever had including on the majority occasions I’ve been on the fifth floor.

The location is good, across from a nice church, a few blocks from the river, and close to some restaurants. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant is pretty good also. There is a parking garage attached to the back of the hotel, but it's a little confusing to get to due to the one-way streets. Comfy beds and great shower.

Parking is FIFTY EUROS per day. Now, that's what you pay at the garage. I did not know until the last day that there is a discount for hotel guests (this wasn't mentioned at check in), but even so, it's still over 30 euros per day. That is a crazy amount to pay, but it's nice to have the garage since I don't know where you would park otherwise.

This hotel is excellent. 2nd time staying here and both times we have been been lucky enough to be offered a free upgrade to the executive floor. On exiting the lift to our room we were offered complimentary prosecco and pastries which was a nice surprise. Room was lovely as was breakfast- plenty of choice, customer service was excellent, friendly and helpful staff. Car park is Q park, v expensive but hotel provides a good discount. Great location, close to everything you need. Will definitely be staying again on our next visit to Dublin.

Minor issues: New refurbished rooms did not have hooks on the door to hang towels. The temperature of the room was a little warm without opening the window which meant you could hear the church bells ring every 15 minutes. The lighting in the room could be a little brighter for getting ready.

The hotel is centrally located and is a short walk to most of the sights in Dublin (yet it is far enough away from late night bars that noise is not problem. This is a great hotel for families and the breakfast buffet was a definite hit with our 11-year-old. Our room was perfect for us, and the bathroom had been recently renovated. Front desk staff is friendly and very helpful. For an added bonus, the best fish and chips in Dublin are right around the corner.

The only thing that would have made our stay better would have been to have air conditioning. But, that said, there was a new (non-functioning) control panel installed in the room with a note that more improvements are coming so this might be a moot point shortly. There was a note that fans are available by calling the front desk.

Great location, right in the city centre, the bus stop is 50 metres from the hotel door. Christchurch cathedral is opposite. Breakfast is great, a bit pricey but on par with other hotels, and a great selection. Fantastic scones! The room was spacious and quiet, as we were facing away from the road. Windows could be opened, thankfully, but the AC also worked perfectly and was quiet, so we could sleep with the AC on. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

If I could recommend two things, it'd be more storage space, as the wardrobe is almost full with the fridge, the tea making equipment and the safe, and some towel hooks in the bathroom. The hotel is being renovated, but it was done very unobtrusively. Also, if you are very noise sensitive, it might be good to request a room facing away from the street, just to be on the safe side.

This hotel is within walking distance to all the major attractions such as Temple Bar, at Patrick’s Cathedral as well as plenty of shopping (high end and high street). Plenty of things to choose from for breakfast. Room was kept clean and tidy. Staff was OK.

Compared to another Leonardo hotel I’ve stayed at before, this location seemed a bit dated. We had a negative experience when we went to the bar/restaurant for dinner and were ignored by the staff there. No issues when it came to serving other customers or chit chatting with coworkers but when we said we were ready to order, we were asked to wait a second. We left after waiting for 20 minutes.

We liked the proximity to transport, local attractions, shopping and restaurants with everything within walking distance The room was spacious and had all facilities including fridge. Breakfast offering was excellent with hot and cold options

I have stayed at other Leonardo Hotels and unfortunately we had a couple of issues at Dublin. Firstly when we entered room the carpet outside bathroom was saturated and an industrial type heater was in the room but not running. Secondly the room door would not close without slamming it which caused a loud noise for other guests on the floor and we had to get reception to send maintenance to resolve. Thirdly no A/C operating in any room Manager was apologetic and offered some vouchers for drinks and breakfast which was appreciated however I would have thought the rooms would have been checked before guests entered

Loved the location, right in the centre with everything in walking distance, I said in my booking that it was my mams first time in Dublin and asked for a room with a view which they happily accommodated to which was fantastic, the bathrooms were very nice in the rooms and they have a fridge which personally I think every hotel should have in the room haha! Staff were friendly and very helpful

Only thing I’d say would be at the time there was building works going on but it wasn’t an issue as we were out most of the day only in through the day for about an hour one day through the week and the bar was a lil on the pricy side but kinda what you expect from a hotel so again, can’t complain!

Great location, easy walking distance to the city and temple bar (without being too close and disruptive). The windows shut out noise from the church bells across the road very well, and the blockout blinds were fantastic. The car parking facilities at the building next door was very easy to use, and connected to the hotel via one of the levels for easy access. Our room was also upgraded which was a lovely treat for our honeymooon. The staff were very welcoming and helpful.

Our room was very hot and meant a few uncomfortable nights sleep as windows don’t open much however, the property is in the process of having air conditioning installed so hopefully that’s not an issue for much longer.

Good location a bit outside of the central 'Temple' bustle and noise. But walkable distance to everything. Nice clean room with good bedding, tea & coffee facilities. I had the exec package, so a free drink and a coffee in the bar every day and a few extra goodies + water in the room. Good breakfast. Lovely, helpful staff!

Nothing major - just a few little things you'd expect to have. Like hooks to hang towels/clothes on in the bathroom. And drawers! Not a single drawer in the bathroom, nor in the room for your clothes, nor at the desk for your work bits and pieces. For a longer stay, it's a bit annoying as you can't organise your stuff properly. In an exec room for business use, a pen/notepad or some form of paper would come in handy. Also, the little 'pouffe' thing at the desk is okay for a quick sit down, but if you need to work for a few hours, a simple chair would be much better for back support.
