The hotel was very central, right next to Grafton Street and a shopping mall on the corner. Everything we wanted to see was a short walk away and we did walk to many places including Trinity College and Dublin Castle. Lots of bars, cafes, and traditional pubs are close by. The hotel was very nice inside, clean and modern with helpful staff. The room had been recently renovated and was all new. Very spacious, with a good wardrobe/closet size for 2 people. The bathroom was great - they had the same shower head/system as us at home and good water pressure. The bathroom toiletries had a lovely smell. Breakfast was excellent, one of the best breakfasts we have experienced and we travel a lot. My husband was eating three courses for breakfast every day, starting with fruit pots, then a hot cooked meal, and ending with something sweet, like a chocolate croissant or mini muffins with jam. The hot breakfast menu was excellent, and there were bars with all sorts of other things for you to choose from - cereals, yogurt pots, baked goods, etc.

Nothing - everything was fine.

Location was excellent

We paid over Eur500 for one night. Nice hotel but not worth that. I have expected better for the money we paid. Our bed was 2 beds pushed together and we could feel the seam in the middle. No cold water from our bathroom tap - regardless of which direction we turned it water was piping hot. Drinks in the bar full of ice, cocktails limited. Couldn’t get a table in the bar to eat when we came back to the hotel so we ended up going back out to eat. Breakfast nice but very very expensive for all that we ate. Sorry Fitzwilliam but you are over rated

Everything was faultless and seamless. The staff were SO lovely, the hotel and room were super clean with the housekeeping providing an exceptional service every day. The lobby area was really cosy. What made it extra special was the fact we were there for our anniversary and the hotel left us a celebratory brownie in our room on the first night, offered Prosecco on arrival and also an Easter egg on Easter Monday. Exceptional customer service! Never stayed at a hotel like it. We will absolutely be returning. Thank you for making it so special!

Nothing! Everything was extra special.

My stay at The Fitzwilliam was probably one of the best hospitality experiences of my life. EVERYTHING from the staff at check-in to the gorgeous room and the thoughtful housekeeping exceeded my expectations. I have stayed at more expensive and more "luxurious" hotels without feeling the genuine care and attention to detail that infused every aspect of my stay there. My travelling companion and I were really impressed by the many small touches and gestures that made this a very memorable experience. Thank you, Fitzwilliam!!!

The breakfast buffet lacked some of the love and care that we came to expect from the Fitzwilliam. Having said that, hotel breakfast buffets rarely excite or impress.

Everything about our stay was wonderful, beautiful quiet room which is unexpected in the center of the city on a busy Friday evening, beautiful breakfast and some of the most genuine and lovely staff we have encountered in a long time. It was a special birthday for me and the stay was a gift from our daughter, when she called to ask if a late check out was possible as we were dining the following day for lunch in the excellent Glovers Alley in the hotel, she did not request any mention of the birthday be made and yet we arrived at our room to a beautiful cake, a thoughtful note from the manager and two glasses of Prosecco. The thoughtfulness extended to them noticing at check in that our other daughter was staying too and they dropped a glass to her room also. Such genuine attention to detail is a rarity these days and it elevated the whole stay to another level. Thank you so much, we had a wonderful time.

We had a magical stay. It is the first time I have stayed at a hotel where the staff enjoy working. They all express a sense of joy. This is so rare. What ever they are doing - keep doing it. We spent so much time in the lounge and bar because it was so wonderful. They genuinely wanted to make your stay enjoyable and make sure we were happy. Thank you,.

OK, the furniture in the lobby is so uncomfortable. They look amazing but unless you are 6 feet to sit on the couch or 4 feet to sit on the chairs you are uncomfortable. They were put there to look good not encourage lounging.

Fantastic location - on St Stephen’s Green and at the top of Grafton Street, which makes it a top location for shopping, nightlife and walking about the city. The staff are all lovely and friendly - and don’t change much, which says a lot about the owners. The hotel continually refurbs/refreshes rooms and everything is superbly designed and laid out. New bar downstairs is lovely and their cocktails have gone to another level - Paulo recently joined their team and is a master of cocktail making. Carpark directly underneath hotel with lift to lobby. I stay there regularly, sometimes for work and other times for leisure. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

Breakfast was amazing! The bar in the evening was very nice and relaxing. Look for DIEGO, he usually works in the bar. He's a SUPER nice person and so helpful. He was one reason that made this hotel memorable for us. The food in the bar is delicious as well. In walking distance to pretty much everything. We walked to the Guinnes Storehouse. The only thing we drove to was the Gaol. I recommend taking a hop-on hop-off bus. The hotel booked this for us with a discount.

Everything was GREAT!! Nothing negative to say at all.

We arrived by car and from that moment were welcomed by exceptional staff, who took care of everything, going above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. An outstanding service, even in the heightened busy Christmas period. Our room was upgraded for free on arrival, and the room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Not to mention the location, right at the top of grafton street- it couldn’t have been better. I would definitely recommend, and can’t wait to return!

The room was beautiful, well appointed, very comfortable and spacious. Shower pressure was perfect. Location could not be better as you’re close to the shops. Room has luxurious fine bone china teapot and cups which I appreciated. I could not be happier with the room.

Service was mediocre and definitely not the standard I expect from a 5 star hotel. Not a single staff member who crossed my path smiled and said good morning, or asked how my stay was. Reception desk staff who checked us in barely made eye contact and mumbled the entire time. The TV in the room isn’t a smart TV which you would expect from a 5 star hotel, so it doesn’t support Chromecast/Airplay etc. You don’t need a key card to go up to the rooms and there are barely any staff present in the lobby at night; even when there are they pretty much ignore you and don’t seem to keep an eye on whether someone shouldn’t be there. If I were a public figure I would not consider this hotel secure enough to stay in.
