Breakfast timings weren't as advertised

Staff are easy to get hold of my phone and lovely to deal with. Self check in and out with very clear instructions. We were lucky that parking outside was very quiet, so we all got spaces without issue. The room was spotless and very well turned out for the most part. It is easy to find, in a very good location to town and served its purpose perfectly for us. Has a fridge, ironing board and iron, tea and coffee kettle etc. Great space by the door to get ready for an event. Has ample plug sockets and mirrors for everyone to use!

The shower base (wherr you stand) had a not so great repair to it due to a crack. It looks like there is another crack starting too. It didn't look 100% leakproof and felt a little fragile when stood on which was a little concerning. This was the only negative

When I booked this hotel, I wasn't expecting too much due to the mixed reviews but we had a great experience. Easy check in, room was beautiful, a really good size and lots of lovely little touches in the room and needs catered for. It was cold in the room but the heayters provided warmed it up quickly. The bed was very comfortable and it was lovely and quiet in the hotel. Location was great for where we wanted to be.

No parking at the hotel although you can park in front of it if you are lucky to get a space but this wouldn't put us off coming again.

The great location and the room was very clean with a comfy bed.

When we first arrived, the room's window was open, and there was an unpleasant smell in the room. However, the smell was gone by the time we returned after our night out. Unfortunately, the heating was no longer on, even though it was a very cold night, with a lot of draught coming in through the window because of the storm. It was fine while we were in bed, though. We didn’t see any staff during our stay, and we couldn’t find any instructions about how to operate the heating.

The hotel is very clean and easily accessed. Both the location of the hotel and the inside. The self check-in service is also very nice as you can come and go as you please. The beds are very comfortable and the cafe In the basement of the hotel is a great addition to an already wonderful place. The staff is very kind and helpful and the service is well worth the money I spend.

The only negative side (if you can call it that) is that the wifi connection is a bit bad when in the bedroom. In the hallways and lower floors it’s fine, but once you’re higher up in the building and in your room it can get slightly tedious.

Another lovely stay at The Georgian. This hotel is in a good spot for us when we visit Liverpool. It's basic but good value for money.

We've stayed before and the bathroom we had last time was new and fresh. The bathroom in the room we had this time could use a freshen up. It wasn't too bad, but there was a little shelf unit in the corner which was rusted, and the shower floor was cracked and had been repaired but moved underfoot. These were just minor issues which didn't greatly impact our stay.

Free Parking right outside and conveniently placed for the university. With rooms 1 and 8, room 1 is a beautiful large room and room 8 is tiny but great for 1 night. The rooms were clean and had everything you need. Lovely view of the cathedral from my room, the rooms were clean and very comfortable. Didn’t see any staff, but the lady in the cafe was lovely and really helpful.

Arrival - check in was till 11. We arrived about 10, door locked. After knocking and ringing for 10 minutes, I checked on the messages and found a code for the key safe on the wall. I had not realised this and could have saved alot of time. Room 1 - fire door to the bathroom a bit noisy and annoying. Kettle did not reach to a plug had to go on the floor. These minor negatives would not stop me going again. The cafe was cold as though there had been a flood as it is in the basement, but nicely decorated.

(1) Original Georgian building sympathetically maintained, e.g., openable sash windows; (2) Located close to cathedral & close enough to city centre; (3) Excellent cooked breakfast prepared by friendly & welcoming chef; (4) Convenient access/exit process; (5) Hot drinks making in bedroom with small fridge; (6) Multi—channel TV in bedroom.

(1) Electric shower just about good enough, given nature of building; (2) Breakfast offer could be widened beyond only cooked, e.g., essential cereals, fruit, yogurts; (3) Slightly too cold in café at breakfast time; (4) Wi-Fi connectivity occasionally dropped.

Great overall decor, excellent wooden cupboard and quiet house

1. very small heater placed far away from the bed Never enough to keep the room warm during the night 2. the electric socket plug is loosely installed - need to fix 3. one bedside light bulb was broken. 4. heat water supply in the showeroom is very unstable Took quite a long time to supply warm water.

This is my 3rd stay and my 3rd room type. Location is perfect for my needs and the on road parking is ideal. As always, the room was clean and beds super comfy for a good night's sleep.

It was a shame that there was no plug socket to enable the kettle to be on the side (we had to put it on the floor). Fridge was not turned on which would have been more helpful and could have done with more than the 2 hangers provided.
