Exceptionally friendly and helpful innkeepers. We have stayed at the St. Bernards B&B two years before and although the innkeepers changed we again were very happy to stay here. The whole property is well looked after, very clean and tidy. Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed and toilet/shower room and a sink. Bathroom amenities were provided. We liked the tea and coffee making facilities and thought the small fridge in the room was very convenient. Breakfast was delicious and something to look forward to every morning. From a list you could choose from several breakfast options, leaving your order the night before. There is a sitting lounge next to the breakfast room where you could buy several drinks and snacks by the means of a self service honesty bar at any time. In the afternoons you could help yourself to a piece of cake or yummy scones. We love the location since it is only a short walk to Newquay station, the town center and the sandy beaches and we can highly recommend the St. Bernards and look forward to coming back again. Paul is really a great host. he's super friendly and outgoing. the room was very clean, quiet and i slept very well. the breakfast was amazing - you can choose out of various options and everything is prepared freshly. plus there is a buffet where you can get fruits, cereals and stuff like that. really felt like home. the location is supernice, in the city center with various shops and restaurants arounds, but still quiet. would definitly go there again!

The property was exceptionally clean and tidy. It is well located for all amenities and the beaches. The owners, Paul and Chantelle, were very professional in their day to day running of the B&B. They were both super friendly and helpful. Their priority was to make guests feel as happy and as comfortable as possible. Chantelle cooked a super breakfast each morning and the choice from the buffet suited every dietary requirement. Facilities within the B&B were great - games and dvd’s were well stocked to use in your Troon or in the living room area. Use of a microwave, plates and cutlery was available and a mini bar with snacks was easily accessible, if required, with an honesty sheet provided. A wonderful week was spent in Cornwall with exceptional hosts in an extremely comfortable and clean setting - thank you!

The property is in town very close to all forms of travel and shops The room was spacious very clean and the owners could not do enough to make it a very comfortable stay and although I had to vacate the room for 10am I wasn’t leaving until late afternoon I could leave my luggage in the lounge and was given a door key so I could go out if I wanted to or just sit in the lounge until I was leaving Would highly recommend staying here when in Newquay

There was nothing not to like

The location is perfect, 2 doors down from the main high street. The owners Paul and Chantelle were amazing, so helpful and friendly. There is a nice little lounge you can sit in with a great little range of very reasonably priced drinks. There is also a massive selection of dvds to borrow for your room. Have a go on the massage chair after a day at the beach, it’s just perfect!

The car park is a few minutes walk which if like me, you keep forgetting things, can be a little annoying. But I appreciate there is a car park as I’m sure parking could be difficult to find in such a busy location. Breakfast is only served between 8 and 9 which could be a problem if your an early or late riser.

Great attention from staff and excellent breakfast options available. Although I didn’t use it - the communal lounge was a great idea. Bedroom was fine - tiny shower room/toilet which I found perfect, handbasin, some clothes hanging space, tv, even a small fridge. I was at the top of the house, with close chums with some seagulls! but these didn’t bother me. Very central - in fact excellent value for everything!

Our location was great just a short walk and we were right in the main town and beach. There was a varied breakfast to suit everyone which was cooked to your liking you could have a full English or lighter choice. Paul and Chantell were the perfect hosts, nothing was to much trouble for them as they went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Definitely a home from home experience from the moment we stepped into the building. I would recommend this guest house you won't be disappointed. 😀

Every thing was laid on for us. Louise and John were great. The shower room and loo were clean and the little touches were beyond the expectation.. Although the weather was really hot the days we were there.. There were fans in our room. Ear plugs were supplied for the night time sounds.. Berties the gulls and Nevilles friends!! Would I go back. I would if I could have a room off the road.. Newquay I will always come back to..

One of the best guest houses i have ever been to. The owners are very nice and helpful people, the facility is located near the centre, lots of eateries in the surroundings, check-in already at 1p.m. The cozy room had everything you might need - including an umbrealla or bottle opener! Very tasty breakfast - you choose the evening before what you woukd like to get. Nice atmosphere.

Nothing I can thing off.

This hosts in this hotel had gone above and beyond to make the stay comfortable. There's an alexa in the room which we found really useful for alarms and the radio. They supplied a bathrobe, which makes you feel as if you are a home. There is a small fridge in the room to store some chilled items. They also have a room downstairs with a microwave if you want to warm something. The breakfasts are lovely, and there's a lot of thought gone into the room design. You are made to feel that you are valued, which is really nice. They have a room with a massage chair which I had a go at, I think I should have used the relaxing mode as I had a sports massage, which was lovely but definitely not relaxing but that was me, it was a lovely surprise to have this offered as a free option. All in all, it's really nice place to stay. It is really close to supermarkets for bits and cafes and restaurants for meals if needed.

There really wasn't much to criticise, the TV in the room was a little bit small, however there was one in a room downstairs if you had a programme you really want to watch. There's a small fee for parking, which is a short walk from the hotel. When you see the hotel, though, you can see the reason for this.
