Wonderful hosts came by with biscuits thanking us for staying a second night and allowing the plumber to repair leaking tap this morning. We were delayed with ferry booking. I contacted BellaVista Hosts they kindly had the heater and lights on for our comfort door unlocked Highly recommend BellaVista Evan's Bay.Spotless,Comfortable beds Brilliant shower Accessible Bathroom (I use a walking stick) central location Our family visited and were very impressed Thank you Barney&Bhagi Tremendous hospitality

Clean, cosy and helpful with the check in/know the area book had lots of restaurants and areas you could visit. We were left alone which was great as we had a long day driving

It was a bit disappointing that the check in book in the room wasn’t updated for the different restaurants but other wise was amazing

The motel's exceptional cleanliness and comfort, as well as the friendly and accommodating staff who went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, make it a great choice. Its convenient location, with easy access to the waterfront, local attractions, and public transport, makes it an ideal base for exploring Wellington. The free WiFi and parking are also great.

It is a little bit overpriced, almost 500 dollars for a two bedroom apartment ts is expensive for New Zealand standard

The room was well presented and had extras in the kitchen for cooking etc. The shower was awesome and easy parking onsite. Bus out the front for a pleasant trip into the city. Lovely walks near the water.

Our mattress in unit 2 was very soft and springy. This made it difficult not to end up squashed in the middle of the bed! It made for difficult sleeping conditions. It was the only downside and really should be looked into.

Great bathroom; the shower had the right water pressure, heater on the wall was decent and very efficient. Room was just perfect for 2 people. There were complimentary tea/coffee, clean microwave, mini fridge and crockery.

The room was sprayed with a sort of perfume that did not agree with my asthma. Sliding door was a little grubby as well. Bed had a noticeable divot in the middle. Might be a good idea to refresh the mattress. A bit pricy. Parking was tight and very narrow to maneuver car. Note: If you're leaving the motel to make a right turn, please be careful as it's hard to see cars coming from the left side (bush obstructs view).

Hearty welcome from the staff. They explained public bus processes and where is good to eat. They later advised us by phone on directions to our chosen restaurant. Good room provisions for making tea and coffee included. Only a few minutes by bus to downtown Wellington and close to the airport too.

We were not offered the option to pay by eftpos or bank transfer, then slugged over 2% debit card surcharge.

The greeting at reception was warm and welcoming. A quiet, clean and generous size room with a lovely bathroom. The beds were comfortable. The heater in the room efficient and kept the room lovely and warm in a cold southerlie. The carparking was easy and not too tight. The motel's located about 200m walk from a nice cafe with a outlook over the bay or a 5min drive from Hataitai or Kilbirnie for more cafes or takeaway spots.

The room has a temperature digital display in the bathroom with a date which is a lovely touch. The bathrooms were fabulously clean and beautifully designed. Temperature was controlled so when coming out of a shower the room is warm. Lovely stay close to all amenities and easy access to shops and restaurants with car park available.

Really liked being close to a quieter stretch of Wellington’s waterfront and enjoyed the level walking opportunities in each direction. A short walk (or quick drive) took you to the Hataitai Shopping Village where there is a multitude of bars & eateries, along with a Four Square mini-supermarket for all your needs. The owners & staff were absolutely lovely and went out of their way to make sure me and my classic car were well looked after.

The owners were so lovely and helpful! The room was beautifully clean, quiet, and had fantastic facillities (iron, minifridge, microwave, wardrobe). The room was also lovely and cool on a hot day. We were attending a wedding in Miramar and it was very easy to get ready here. Also has a great carpark so was super easy to call an Uber.
