Faultless! I can’t think of a single thing that was other than outstanding. Firstly the staff were really friendly and helpful. Then the situation is perfect - a stone’s throw from the restaurants and shops but down a cul-de-sac so absolutely traffic free and quiet. Thanks Nicky for upgrading us to such a lovely room, spacious and beautiful with a partial view of the water. It had everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay - a kitchenette with a range of teas and coffees and even a pack of fruit and nuts, as well as fridge and microwave. The bathroom had a wide ledge for wash bags and toiletries and an easy to operate shower. There were plenty of wardrobes and a lovely large comfortable bed. Finally, the whole place was spotlessly clean, with fresh facecloths and sparkling white bath towels and bed linen. In a word, this must be the best place to stay in Tauranga.

Absolutely nothing

Only stayed for 1 night and wish we had longer to spend here. The location was excellent, easy to find and parking on site. The room was spotless and had everything we needed. The view was outstanding! We arrived a bit earlier than check in but our room was ready and they said we could go straight in which was a bonus and have us more time to sight see. Staff were excellent and have really good tips on how to spend the limited time we had there. The bed was so comfortable I needed to be woken by my alarm which is a first for me. Would definitely go back to Tauranga and this hotel.

We loved the beautiful water view from our room the windows were crystal clear so we could enjoy the sunrise and sunset from inside aswell. The check in was super easy and the staff was wonderful. The kids loved the walk down to the bay. The cleanliness was superb and the beds were comfortable to sleep on. We will surely book this place next time we visit Tauranga.

1.The Toilet door should have lock on it. 2.The crystal clear sliding door should have sticker marking for kids to know that it's closed. 3. Quiet Noisy at night could not sleep properly. 4. The main door have see through square glasses on it. Which was not very comfortable to know as our kid figured out he could see through the decorative glass piece on main door. If he can then any body can watch from outside what's inside the room. It breaches our privacy. We managed by putting towel on them.

Absolutely amazing customer service from the receptionist. - Very warm welcoming and quick sufficient service.

Weird / Awkward layout - bathroom door not a proper door so when you take your number 2s expect the room to smell otherwise open the main room door. Wish instead of just a big window over looking the train bridge to matapihi that it was a balcony going off the room - better air flow and space.

The gorgeous view!!!! Very clean and well organized accommodation with plenty of privacy and space for us and our adult child. The kitchen was fine to prep a microwave meal and lots of hot drinks in. A quick drive to the nearby supermarket and v close to town itself. The standout was the full glass wall overlooking the water out to Matapihi. So beautiful. Also quiet an extra bonus.

Not sure about the bathroom door? A swing glass affair that didn't completely cover the aperture. It was okay and fine for a couple but a bit inhibiting with a third guest sleeping just outside. Okay for us as a family though.

The room was a nice size, warm and the bed was very comfortable. Loved the snacks and bicies and shower gel products. Bought some upon departing :-) Close to the restaurant we chose to eat at -Italian so walked 10mins and we were there. The view was great! It was quiet and had a great sleep! I wanted to take the bed home! Must find out what make it is :-) The heat pump kept the room nice and warm, being winter. Loved it, would definitely stay again.

We had my husband's ute and the parks were angled so we worried we would get blocked in or not be able to get in but this was not the case. We felt like walking anyway so left it there when we went to dinner. No probs in the morning as I think we were 1 of last to leave.

I didn't have breakfast as wasn't required and was a late booking of my suite. I liked the friendly and helpful reception attendant. The price was reasonable for what quality of the room you received in comparison to others in the area. I also adored the little extra thoughtful features like the natural products sold at reception that you could try before buying, and brought some to take home. They were so good! My suite had the most comfortable and professional set up, it was so inviting. Can't say enough about how happy I was with the overall experience. Treated myself while over for my sons 21st birthday. I shall be back and shared with family and friends in social media.

I liked everything, and will be back again next time I'm staying in Tauranga.

I was very lucky to be upgraded to a waterfront room, the views were absolutely stunning and being on the ground floor I had a balcony. The bed was amazing. The kitchette very cleverly placed within a large cupboard so it can be shut away. The bathroom beautifully appointed with a great shower and plenty of towels. Supplied a little bottle of milk with plenty of supplies. Location handy to town and anywhere in Tauranga really.

The only moan, and it is very tiny, no instant coffee satchets supplied, plunger coffee or pod coffee. And after being serviced after the first night the dishcloth and tea towel disappeared and not replaced. Not major, just a little frustrating.

Location was central and easy to find. Room was very spacious, and liked the separation between the king bed and single beds. Everything was very clean. Getting fresh milk was great, and the tea and coffee in the room. Awesome shower products, which you could purchase if you wanted. Very nice touch.

Room was a bit noisy, both from the main road where some cars with loud exhausts were driving, and from neighbours coming back late and talking loudly.
