Right across from the water, so picturesque, the menu was filled retry good, some of the best seafood right down the road, an incredible French country cafe a few doors up that was so delightful and charming and actually delicious, a ferry ride right across the street where dolphins swim alongside you the accommodation is cute and recently revamped with a nautical theme, playground on site and overall very kid friendly.
The music was very very loud on a Saturday night, though it is a pub so it was to be expected and was completely quiet by 10ish. The midges at the playground are intense at dusk so be mindful of that! But truly, it was so lovely. We had such a great time as loved the spot so much. Our kid wanted to stay!

Our room was basic but had what we needed. The pub itself is in a great location on the Myall River with a great view. There are a number of bar choices. We liked the public bar where we could sit at the window and look at the lovely view. The pub is well located. Close to other eating venues and well placed for lovely walks on the river.
The pub doesn’t seem to sell locally produced food with Barra and Flathead the only fish choices and no prawns. Vegetarian options were scarce and uninteresting. I don’t know of the beef was local but I do think selling locally grown produce is important. Proximity of our room to the live music venue. Not a big problem as music finishing around 12:30am.

Location is excellent on the Myall River, room was very clean and comfortable however is adjacent to main road and sometimes a little noisy. Staff are excellent, helpful courteous and pleasant. Food from the bistro for dinner was first rate pub style meals, good quality and ample portions.
Soundproofing between rooms could be improved but otherwise everything else was very good.

The location is great, with the river across the road and the staff were friendly. The ferry trip across to Nelson Bay was excellent. There were good coffee shops nearby and a Chinese takeaway. The walk along the foreshore was beautiful.
There was mimimal space and no table for 2 people to eat at or to do any work at in the room. The refrigerator was minute and we were travelling with food and some of it had to be wasted as we couldn't keep it cool. The main road was very close to the bed and the road noise made it hard to sleep through the night.

Overall the hote Is a great place to stay by Myall Lake and easy access by ferry to other ports. Right by a lovely walkway for dog waking and cafe boathouse for delicious food from breakfast to dinner. Don’t miss the fresh seafood shop along the way as well. Great spot .
Beds are very small and could be better quality for couples. Noisy traffic on road. Better windows would fix this.

The hotel was lovely, the rooms were clean, spacious and the beds and bedding were so comfortable! I went to the bar and asked for milk and was given fresh milk straight away - the staff were lovely. I was worried it would be noisy as right opposite the kids play area but it was quiet early and peaceful all night. highly recommend!

Excellent location and very comfortable room. Although backs on a pub/hotel, it was reasonably quiet at night so could sleep very well.
The mini fridge was very small and could have been more useful with a larger freezer section. Parking is pretty much limited to street parking (but staff were very helpful in suggesting where to park noting security cameras)

Being out the back of a pub means everything you need is right there. Food, drinks, playground. Parking very close. Right on the water, little bakery with decent coffee just around the corner.
The downside to being out the back of a pub, is its noisy until the evening winds down. So bear that in mind. After that, completely quiet.

We always stay here on the way through from Gold Coast to Sydney we like atmosphere, and that’s the club is right there for drinks and dinner, I also like how you can park close by with no stairs to log your bags up
it can be a little noisy with live music, people drinking and a big kids park very close but take some ear plugs if it bothers you

We loved that everything had been considered for the comfort of travellers. The rooms were beautifully styled. We loved the showers which were designed so well. The doors were fun for kids and adults. Handy playground and bonus entertainment after dinner. Great food and atmosphere at the pub
No hairdryer provided.
