The owners are lovely, the room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The shower was great, even though it was over the bath. Great having the toilet separate.

Near quite a main road so started a little noisy but was not a problem during the night. I would have liked to see a mirror somewhere in the main area, and shampoo, conditioner and a hair dryer in the bathroom.

Everything was perfect. This was my third stay with my work group. Everyone was happy. In particular, the unit was very quiet, warm, and comfortable. Sierra provides two pillows for each of us: a thicker one and a thinner one. This is so thoughful that everyone can find their best suitable pillow! It is such small details that make the service outstanding!

The person running the motel was very friendly and helpful she is tops in my book. Lovely looking pool although the weather wasn't good enough for us to try it. Extremely clean and well-maintained room. Full WiFi available. Kitchen and bathroom were well stocked for use.

The bed gave me a sore back after a night of sleeping in it. The spa wasn't usable although the reason was acceptable. No Netflix or Prime or Disney+

Clean rooms and basic amenities available in the room. Pool available onsite. Owner was very friendly and helpful, reminded me of the typical watchful Aunty or Nana ; )

Covid cert were mandatory before check in and questions were asked why we had to stay at motel. Covid Certs not legally required by law and questions were over the top for breach of privacy. First accommodation in nz I've been asked this question.

A very comfortable stay. Central location with easy walking distance to local shops. It is located on main street but it is very quiet at night. I had a very good sleep even if I am a light sleeper. The room was very tidy and the bed was very comfortable. The motel host Kath was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back again.

Room was great, nice and clean and had everything we needed. Pity the spa wasn't available(off season). Beds very comfy, hotwater very hot! Was very close to our building site and close to places for dinner .

A little noisy from the traffic as right by main road, lots of heavy trucks at all hours. My boy complained about the wifi, but I thought it was ok.

Comfortable bed, hot shower, electric blanket and a plunger for coffee. Nice basic room with everything I needed for my stay. Parking and free wifi included. And a lovely host.

As an Australian, I’d never seen anything like the shower combo 🤩 And a small hairdryer would have been nice for the cold mornings, not essential, just nice.

The staff was soooo kind !!! Even though we have family living in Whangarei. We were in the country organising a surprise 60th for mum and had to hide out somewhere for a few days while doing the last organising for the event. Our lovely host was ever so kind to even offer any help if we needed to get things organised. Offer for us to use the motel fairy lights if need be.

Absolutely clean the downfall was we had no aircon in the room and while it is very hot it would have been a bonus. The reception stunk of ciggerette smoking and on arrival can only stay if you were up to date on Covid but couldn’t confirm if they were up to date? Also on entry wasn’t wearing a mask for someone worried about Covid vaccines

My room had everything required, was quiet and exceptionally clean. Swam in the clear,clean pool, which was fully fenced, private with ample seating. Motelier (Kath) was very friendly and helpful with suggestions of places to see and visit etc.
