The staff are incredible. So helpful and friendly. Great location centrally located and easily walkable to Rome’s historical sites. Breakfast was good. Lots of selection. Great large bath towels

The blinds in the rooms did not close properly so the room was super bright as soon as the sun rose. The beds are super low and soft. You couldn’t control the air conditioning from the room. No where to put your clothes away so have to move out of the suitcase. There is a thermostat but no matter what we set the temperature at it always went back to 20 degrees Celsius.

Mira, Manuel, and the whole team at the Hotel Royal Bissolati were welcoming, culturally aware, informative, and brought a happy experience to my first visit to Rome. Mira spoke with me on Booking.com to help with any concerns I might have. I liked that she knew who I was when I arrived at the hotel. Information on transportation, shopping, tourist attractions, Roman history. Manuel works on night shifts and is attentive, extra warm, and kind. He, too, informed me about Rome's activities and transportation. He prepared breakfast for me as I had an early flight back. 5/5 Breakfast and Room is photogenic as the pictures. Bedroom comfortable. Shower hot. Location incredible. I visited the Colosseo, Roman Forum, Vatican City, St Peters Dome (HUGE) Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Largo di Torre Argentina, etc. Nearest station: Barberini, get the €4.50 (inc card). Shopping at Via del Tritone, Via del Corso. Eating? Visit: Antica Salumeria, Appetito, etc. Too much. Enjoy!

USB port by bed is worn out by too many people, so bring your own. Otherwise great!

Beautifully minimalistic designed room and bathroom. Beautiful breakfast area with a good breakfast selection, beautifully arranged, and the lovely lady servicing the breakfast area (who's name I sadly forgot) served wonderful caffè.

The room is so minimalistic it is lacking in hangers to hang more than just a couple of clothes. The roof terrace was advertised in the lift but was closed even during the advertised opening hours during the weekend. Relatively pricy for what you get, but I suppose that's what you pay in an upmarket area of Rome.

The hotel is non smoking. Everyone seems to smoke in Italy, so it was good to have a reprieve. You can't beat the location. You're on the doorstep of all the shops, sights and activities, but the hotel itself is lovely and quiet. The staff are incredibly helpful, friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. Mira and Francesca are angels! The food is fantastic, prices are reasonable. All reservations for sights, tours and transport can be made at reception. It's well worth it to do so.

Excellent hotel och valuable. Very good location near the major attractions about 15 minutes walk. Very clean rooms och comfortable beds and excellent cooling system. Very nice working staff from the lovely reception-staff and the staff of breakfast. Good variety at the breakfast. We will surely visit this hotel again when we will plan to visit Rome again.

Actually nothing

Location was very convenient to sightseeing. Breakfast was exceptional as was the service at breakfast ! Reception staff, especially Francesca, were so welcoming and helpful at all times. Also loved the front bar and snacks that were offered!

No real closet, but we worked around it easily.

It was very close to the center, although there was a Metro station within walking distance, there was little need. I walked around the entire historic center comfortably. The cleanliness and facilities were great. Thank you to the entire hotel team for their interest and help.

Nice modern design of rooms and common areas, high quality finishing materials, nice roof terrace. Very helpful staff. Before our flight we asked for a late dinner in hotel restaurant. And even after being about half hour late than was confirmed(~10:30pm), chef was waiting for us and prepared quick dinner for the two of us. We were the only ones in the entire restaurant at that time.

The sound insulation of the main doors should be better

I loved the modern design of the hotel and rooms and toilets Comfort large bed. Breakfast had a decent selection of hot and cold items that they replenish quickly. Newly renovated hotel. Locations was very convenient for us. 5 minutes walk to barberini metro stop /taxi stand/ hop on hop off bus stop. Area felt safe even at night. The staff were helpful and friendly. I would love to stay here again.

The small lift that sometimes seemed faulty. There is not much lighting in the room. Lot of the electrical sockets and safety deposit box and bed are located very low. It might be difficult for someone with back issues. There was a leak near the sink. There was always water on the floor after we used the sink. Maybe some design issues?

1) Walking distance from train station and metro line. 2) Helpful and friendly staff! (Thanks Elena!) 3) Great breakfast with lots of options! 4) Easy walk to many major Rome attractions! (Trevi fountain and Spanish steps are within 10-15 min), with Colosseum being around 25 min.

Things to note: 1) Room is pretty tight/smaller then in pictures. 2) Room was on the street side, which we noticed was a bit loud at times. 3)Interesting shower set up: river rock system in the floor of the shower wasn’t draining well/believe there is mold building up. 4) Not certain we got the value for the price tag of this hotel.
