The location is spot on. Parking in local streets only in zones but have to find and buy vouchers at an extra charge. The hotel is extremely clean and the staff just can't do enough for you there is always somebody on hand. The room was spotless clean and had the most amazing beautiful seaview with balcony and right in the most perfect location. If you like us and like life and a bit of night life or even people just enjoying themselves it's ticking all boxes and then some. The sealife centre, the brighton pier, town, plenty of shops restaurants other local bars and entertainment venues your not short of anything with with hotel. The walk in shower was a nice addition excellent value for money we thought and are going back soon that's for sure one of our top 3 hotels to stay at in kent and sussex

Doesn't have own parking so if you can find in local roads can buy parking voucher daily that's the only thing not keen on

Great value and surprisingly convenient This place is excellent value for money. While it can be a little noisy on weekend evenings due to entertainment downstairs, it tends to quieten down fairly early during the week. Parking is straightforward — you can arrange 24-hour on-street parking just outside. I’ve stayed three times now and each time managed to park right outside on the side street. I suspect the slightly hidden location and one-way system mean only those who know the area well find their way here easily — which works in your favour!

Traffic noise early in the morning. To be fair. If I'd found the fan remote control earlier, I wouldn't have had the window open. Apart fro that it was all low stress.

Very handy central location near the Palace Pier. The room I had was just about large enough but was comfortable enough too and had everything I needed including an iron plus tea and coffee. Good ensuite shower (once I'd worked it out in terms of hot and cold setting). Handy bar although I didn't use it this time. I liked the fact this place had a lift - not all places do in this price bracket. Staff were very polite and very helpful. Reasonable value for the location. Has free wifi. Affordable for me and glad I've found this place as I will use it again due to its handiness .

The parking arrangements aren't ideal as you have to find a space in local streets with their permit and that can take time - I was in a hurry when I arrived so parked on the seafront for considerably more money. A reasonable permit price for Brighton at least. It's a quiet road outside so you can temporarily park outside to load and unload if you're not too long. There were breakfasts on offer but the cook didn't turn up the first morning so went down the road- there's convenient shops, bars and eateries nearby.

Fantastic location, we were able to park on the side street next to hotel and get a 24hr permit from the hotel for £8 😊. The view is amazing we had a the room with the big balcony to walk on too. it’s 2 mins walk from Main Pier it’s 30s from shops,pubs and restaurants. Really good bar and nightlife we had so much fun and went to the club next door (we are in our early 40s lol). When we arrived MARK met us at the reception and was absolutely the best part of our stay, he genuinely is a really good guy he was so accommodating and couldn’t have been more helpful the parking the late checkout the recommendations it made our stay so nice, what an absolute gem 💎! There’s nothing I didn’t personally like. We went on Saturday so nightlife was about but we had a balcony room and just enjoyed it and joined in.

Perfect location on the Brighton sea side. I took a bus from the train station to a convenient stop within a few of this quirky hotel with a fabulous story. Ask the manager, Firose K-T, about it. My top level room, accessible by lift and one small set of stairs, is very small but has the necessities and comfy bed. Also, a balcony with seats and table, overlooking the Palace Pier, so I really enjoyed rugging up and sitting outdide with a red wine and view of the beach and street activities. The location is an easy walk to everything. Firose was absolutely wonderful, also recommending sights to visit, and all the staff were helpful and reliable. I recommend this novel hotel for sure.

Room was excellent comfortable bed was comfortable clean spacious but most of all view was superb 12/10 facing the pier room 31. Room facilities excellent everything you need apart from a little fridge overall great room value for money for the room there is a but thought.

Hotel is great good location value for money but there is a downside that is there is an entertainment venue right on that hotel and have music until late and is loud enough to interrupt your sleep or peace they did give ear plugs but didn’t do much. Would I stay again if on own but not with the wife

The Hotel is in a prime location for the Sea Front, Promenade, The Lanes and Kemptown a 20 minute walk to the Marina. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and spacious with lots of light and if you have a sea view nice big windows to wake up and see the sea. The staff are lovely and welcoming, we stay here regularly as it’s just what we want it ticks all the boxes, there is tea, coffee etc in the room, plenty of towels and cleaned daily. We would definitely recommend staying here.

The location was perfect! Right on the coast, by the pier and in the city center. I liked the room, very clean, perfect size. Kettle provided with mugs, glasses, biscotti biscuits with the usual assortment of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milk, and sugar. The bed was comfortable. I had a room that looked out on to the side street, but I still had a side view of the sea which was nice. Bathroom was clean and had everything I would expect in a hotel such as a little bar of soap, complimentary little combo hair and body wash bottles, and plastic cups, and plenty of towels. I had breakfast in the restaurant, and it was good. I had the small breakfast with a glass of orange juice, and it came to 9 pounds total which I felt was very reasonable. Beautiful view of the seafront from the restaurant. I didn't get to see any of the cabaret shows in the restaurant this time but maybe next time. I plan to visit Brighton again and if so, I would like to stay at Amsterdam again.

There was nothing I didn't like. Everything was good. Just note that the elevator doesn't go to the 4th floor so if you aren't able to climb stairs then make sure you get a room in the first three floors. It's completely fine if stairs are not a problem for you to get to the 4th floor as was my case. You take the elevator to the third floor and the take the stairs one flight to the 4th floor. The stairs are narrow so if you have lots of luggage or large suitcases then you might want a room on the lower floors.

Right opposite the seafront and the pier. Location was excellent. The room we had was a very good size and the bed was comfy. We had sea views and a view of the pier which was an excellent bonus. The hotel is above a cabaret bar so entertainment right below you which wasn't loud from the room.

The shower wasn't the best as it wasn't very powerful and sprayed in all directions. Bathroom was a bit outdated. Windows and window sills looked a bit grubby but it wasn't enough to bother me. Bedside lights were a bit dim but would make an ok reading light. The corridor smelt of stale smoke.

Fella on reception was lovely. We had a room on first floor with a roof balcony, it would be great in a sunny day. Location is smashing and other hotels, on a Saturday night, were charging a lot more. Everything in the room was fine, decent tea bags as well, ta for that.

There was nothing we didn't like, just a heads up that this room is over the hotel bar. We slept great and liked the energy of the place, but some light sleepers may struggle if they want an early night. So don't have an early night, Brighton is full of beans, the Kemptown and seafront area especially, go get involved.
