Everything was outstanding. The moment we arrived we were in paradise. The views are one of the best in Queenstown. The staff are just amazing. It was truly one of the best vacations we’ve ever had (and we’ve travelled a lot!). We felt like family by the time we left.

Nothing at all!

Having spent a week in and around Central Otago, if there was a better place to stay than Azur, we didn’t see it. The location, a little out of QT was sparkling, the views from our private lodge extraordinary. The staff were informal in a good way - hugely helpful, always happy to see us and attentive. The service lacked pretension but had enthusiasm in spades. The owners have found a great crew! We don’t often leave reviews but wanted to take the time here as Azur was a special stay.

Elephant in the room, it’s expensive. But it’s a bucket list kind of stay.

Exceptional in every way possible. Gorgeous, private villa with stunning views across the lake to the mountains. Cosy fire to read by, comfortable bed, best shower ever, spa bath by the window. Staff incredible and made every day even better - lifts to town whenever you need, lovely afternoon tea (delivered to your villa if you want), pre-dinner drinks and canapés - all delicious and very generous. The most beautiful place to spend a few days - one of the most incredible stays we’ve had.

The staff are exceptional - attentive, genuine and will go out of their way to make your stay special. And the villas are large, well appointed, modern but cozy and have all the amenities you could want or need.

The overall property level amenities are lacking. But the views and access to hiking and such didn’t leave you wanting for an onsite gym or spa (which I understand is available, just off property).

An absolutely stunning location; more so than any of the luxury lodges we've had the pleasure of staying with to date. Adding to the experience is an utterly charming team of staff; each of them prompt and polite, interested and interesting - we felt very well taken care of, indeed. Thank you to all of you at Azur for providing the highlight of our time in Queenstown.

Start we’re fabulous. Loved the location and privacy and the courtesy shuttle to town was really great. When we’d been out late, the person Elle left a bottle of water by the bed! I felt this was a real personal touch! Loved the guard dog idea! Staff were really assertive to when we didn’t want service.

Place not vacuumed in 4 days. For the price, I feel that all drinks should have been complimentary…not just beer and soft drinks. The wait for dinner was over 2hrs both times, even when ordered at 4.30pm. Light switches were mental and not intuitive! Fire was difficult to operate. Tv didn’t have standard services (eg, sky, Netflix, tvnz) without using our own login. I’m not picking purely because of the price of the place.

Exceptional accommodation with breathtaking views and complete privacy. Staff catered to our every need and personalised our stay in the most incredible and thoughtful way. Loved every bit of our stay, very sad to have to leave!

Nothing at all, can’t fault a single thing. Loved everything.

Service exceptional. Pick up and drop off to Queenstown centre was at your request and not specific times. Afternoon tea and pre dinner drinks are a nice touch. Breakfast was just wonderful. Anything you want and delivered fresh to your room.

Nothing, can't think of anything I didn't like
