The team are great, doing as much as they can to make your stay comfortable. The hotel is lovely they have created a modern comfortable environment to enjoy. The roof top terrace is great for sunsets, and quiet drinks. Located in Floriana it’s close enough to all the activity in Valletta but quiet to enjoy a relaxing time. Easy to access most transport including water taxis and fast ferry. Staff give good tips to local area and restaurants

Breakfast options are limited and basic, better to go out to eat. The limited access to the roof top is disappointing as would be a great place to enjoy evening drinks after 8pm

I have been all over the world and this hotel was excellent we were made to feel welcome from day 1. It was like we were not just a number in the hotel we was like family excellent hosts

Fantastic location just off the beaten track but in very easy walking reach of Valletta and the Virtu passenger terminal. Great, comfortable facilities, superb room & bathroom (we were in room 11, with a small balcony giving an interesting view of the street). Ryan a superb ‘host’, very helpful with suggestions on arrival and when asked. Having a drink on the roof was a great way to recover from our days of walking around.

The only downside before we arrived seemed to be that there was no breakfast available to book at the hotel - but in practice it was so easy to pop over to the cafe on the street corner opposite for fabulous coffee & croissants with a ‘pavement cafe’ vibe, that this absolutely wasn’t an issue and may have been a benefit.

Beautifully run small hotel, by Ryan. He is attentive, communicates well, and provides lots of information to make your visit to Malta the best. he sends info before hand to help you plan your trip. Beautiful property, very modern, in a historic building. the Sicilian bakery around the corner is a treat.

Room was as advertised. small high window to courtyard. I wouldn't want to spend much time in this room (it was dark), but great if you are out all day. I stayed in Valleta at another hotel, and I prefer to be "in" the city, but this is a nice quiet location 10 minute walk from the main gate.

Ryan was very helpful, with best places to eat etc and how to get around. Hotel was wonderful and he has done an amazing job renovating it!! Location is very good with only 10-15mins walk from the centre of Valletta. We had a balcony room which was great for a cup of coffee in the morning before setting off. Rooftop bar was a great place for a drink before setting out for the evening or just to take in a great view of Valletta.

10am checkout was a bit early for us but only as we had an evening flight. However we are able to leave our luggage there all day and then get washed and changed before heading off to the airport. To be fair, we never even asked about a late checkout, as Valletta is such an amazing city, you want to get out and about anyway so even on our last day it helps you make the most of your stay. Although only a minor point, it woods definitely not put us off staying there again!

23 Boutique Hotel is a very cleverly renovated hotel. Ryan has achieved not only an amazing hotel, but one with a homely atmosphere. The roof terrace is a wonderful place to relax with a glass of wine, and the interior courtyard is another place of relaxation. Ryan was a welcoming and warm host, nothing is too much trouble for him. He has good suggestions of eating places and travel ideas. We will certainly return to 23 Boutique Hotel, if ever we are again in Malta.

From start to finish staying at 23 Boutique Hotel was a superb experience. Exceptional quality rooms, phenomenal service (particularly from Ryan!), and extensive amenities in the Rooftop Terrace, beach towels, and general facilities. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone visiting Malta! The short 10 minute walk to Valletta City Centre also avoids the crowds and means there is minimal noise in and around the hotel.

Everything was superb, not a fault to be found.

Quiet location in a street set back from the main road and a level 15 minute walk into Valletta. Comfortable bed and attractive bathroom with powerful shower and bath. Balcony with table and chairs. Friendly and helpful staff on reception, and you get sent a detailed information guide in advance of your arrival.

The breakfast arrangements were a bit disappointing for a hotel. If you want breakfast you have to order it three days in advance and select what you would like to eat from a fairly limited menu. The breakfast is laid out for you at a table in a small, rather dark room and you only get instant coffee (that you have to make yourself using the kettle). We were disappointed by the lack of a coffee machine in such a lovely hotel.

My husband and I spent 4 nights in this beautiful friendly hotel. Anna greeted us and checked us in and was very welcoming and helpful. Before you arrive, Ryan the owner sends an incredible packet with so much helpful information about the hotel, Malta, restaurants, etc. I wish every place would do this. You are treated like family in this hotel. Asking how you are, etc. Any help you need, they are there.They explain in detail, how and where to catch the bus, how to take the ferry etc. This hotel deserves more than 10 stars, it deserves 100. . Also, Carnaval was going on yet our room was so quiet. I highly recommend this hotel, and we will return. Thank you Ryan, Anna, and everyone for the great stay.

Stylish, welcoming and well presented hotel with every guest detail accounted for. The best hotel we’ve stayed in for a long long time! The roof top terrace is also a beautiful area to relax with a drink after a days sightseeing 😊 The bedrooms are extremely quiet, comfortable and spacious, the mattress is one of the best I’ve ever experienced. It’s located close to all the attractions and restaurants in Valletta and the harbour! Everything is in walking distance. The staff are also super attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Perfect in every sense!
