The hotel is located in the center of Madrid in a very nice area. It is true that the rooms need some renovation, however the hotel offers excellent quality/price if you compare prices around the area. I think you get a fair accommodation for what you are paying. We read some reviews about the noise and indeed the hotel is just above a very loud bar that stays open until late, make sure that in your reservation you ask for a room on the inner side and not on the street side, we got an inner room and slept perfectly with no noise

Staff at the reception are not extremely nice and the kitchen utensils available in the studio are very limited (no cooking pans, only boiling pans, no sponge or washing soap)

I loved how it was clean daily, easy access to all the sites, near plenty of restaurants and supermarkets plus has very good wifi. Perfect hotel for 1-3 days since it removes the need of transport by being in the central and has a lot of ease. If you are looking to be able to make meals then it would be best to buy utensils at the supermarket. Lovely women receptionist who speaks Spanish but there’s a gentleman who speaks English!

The only concern was the vents, it could get very cold at night but that is not fault of staff we forgot to ask them.

Lady at the reception doesn't speak English however she greeted us with a smile and we commincated fine ...suggest people use Google translator if you don't understand any Spanish while in Spain. Check in - we arrived early, but luckily our room was ready, quick check in took 15mins. Basic rooms for the price, no kettle, hair dryer or iron. We only stayed 1 night so was fine and good value. Beds comfortable but no double bed, was two single beds together. Little noise from bars directed downstairs. Otherwise all fine and OK.

Great location! Everything was nearby, so we didn’t even need to use the Metro much. However, Alosno Martonsz Metro Station is just a 1-minute walk from the hotel. We stayed in room 707 on the 7th floor, which was excellent—it was very quiet, with windows facing away from the street. The staff was friendly, and the room was cleaned daily.

The room was very big , clean with a little kitchen. Was very clean and bright. Very quiet neighboor and frienly streets. The location was good , 20-25 minute walking from the center and friendly and quite neighboorhood.

The english level was bad , all over the city was like this but this isnt good. The old woman at the reception wasnt very kind with her colleague and it was a bad image because that guy was very kind and helpful. But even he wasnt kind thats still not a good image . I should put 9/10 but because of that lady i put 8. Everyone got bad days at the job but this isnt mean something

I have been already at the hotel twice I think what makes the hotel less than it could be is maintenance, there are some signs of neglect There is no hairdryer No basic things like soap or shampoo, the soap is in dispensers that don’t work The staff with the exception of Teresa in the mornings, is extremely rude When I checked in on Oct 5th the employee yelled at me because I couldn’t hear what she was she saying, she didn’t provide me with the WiFi Information and I went out a couple of times and when coming back I greeted her with my Buenas tardes I Buenas noches and she never replied Muy mala leche to be working with the public

What I said before

The location is very handy coming from the airport, which if you are traveling light, and you're not in a hurry, you can definitely get the subway to it. The room was very clean and the bed super comfortable and big. The cost benefit was really good!

There's no negative feedback on my view to be honest. If I could say something is depending on the room, you might hear some noises from the people at this restaurant that is located at ground floor from the building. especially at the end of the week. But again, its a veeery small thing.

Check in took forever. Just 1 lady, no urgency. Maybe ask for personal details like address in advance so it can be entered into the system before arriving. Lost so much time there. She was nice though

Amazing location, hotel and room very very clean, we heard no noise at night, all hotel staff were all very friendly including two different ladies who were on reception. No trouble getting back into hotel late at night. Don't understand the negative reviews. Would stay again.

Room is relatively basic but has all the essentials plus a wee kitchenette type setup, we didn't use it but nice to have. The hotel itself is located next to / above a restaurant but you can't really hear the noise at all. It's a little noisier in the morning probably from around 7am onwards but still not that bad. Location I'd say is really good. Only a couple minutes walk to the nearest metro entrance. The Madrid metro is really good so you can easily get to other areas easily due the number of connecting stations. The room is clean, staff are nice and for the money we paid, we felt it was very good value. Would definitely consider this hotel if we came back to Madrid again.

Genuinely nothing that we could say that we didn't like. In terms of the facilities or food options, we didn't use any so can't give an opinion at all. Maybe the sign posting could be a little clearer but that's definitely nitpicking at this point. If I remember correctly the sign says 'Almagra' on it.
