The Inn was an ideal location for our first time in Harrogate. It's within 5 mins walk of main shopping area, local church, Harrogate Baths. A good starting point if you have a planned event, you want to explore nearby or just want a rest, on your way to Scotland The Inn's restaurant itself offered an amazing variety of great tasting evening & breakfast meals in a relaxed setting adapted to your taste. Great atmosphere in the bar, lovely decor The staff were friendly and approachable they would enquire if there is anything you needed. The room itself is well laid out and comfortable and nicely decorated. The staff made your stay feel welcoming as soon as you walked in. Warm scents, dimmer switch for main light, low lights in the bathroom to guide you, in the night. Blackout curtains, windows open, you can hear the hustle and bustle of the street below, windows closed you hear nothing If we have another trip to Harrogate, we would definitely book again.

It's not that I did not like. Just be aware there may be 2 flights of stairs to your room, so if booking just call and see what rooms are available on lower floors or other options

Had the penthouse appointment, and it was really nice. It was a big room with everything you needed. It had a really good shower. It also had a really nice free-standing bath that was in your room. The location was really good. Close to all pubs and shops. We had never been to Harrogate and didn't know what was around. So when we checked in, we asked the lady that checked us in what was around. She was really helpful and pointed us in the right direction. We found that all the staff were really nice. We had breakfast there in the morning and it was really nice and again the staff were lovely. I would recommend this to anyone. Me and my wife will definitely be coming back.

Amazing location. Good parking over the road in a multi storey safe carpark. Brilliant breakfast in a comfortable restaurant area. Good to be able to eat an evening meal in the pub below the accommodation.

Arrived at night so parking behind the accommodation was full. We parked for 10 minutes on the street while we unloaded luggage and got a parking ticket! Drive straight to the multi storey! Room 2 is huge and soulless, it was cold and uninviting when we arrived. Very drab feeling. The back entrance is not a place for guests to see. Room in desperate need of decorating and sprucing up. It's such a shame that the accommodation let's it down.

We have stayed a few times before and love the location. Staff are always friendly.

Things have changed since we last stayed. Small things but when you see the changes all at once they feel bigger. Parking was always complimentary this time it was £10 per stay. Check in staff always went the extra mile and if the room was ready you could check in early. Not now it is not before 3pm or it’s chargeable. Breakfast you used to get a choice of coffees included now it’s £2 supplement. Like I said not big things and they are what you would pay at other places. It’s just when you get used to these small things and they make the place feel more special then they are removed and chargeable it looses its touch over other places. Wouldn’t have noticed if I hadn’t stayed before. The penthouse also had a kitchen which has now been removed.

The hotel is right in the centre of Harrogate, so a perfect place to explore the town. Friendly staff and our room was very large, clean and tidy and with an amazing bathroom. The breakfast was included and very generous. For the price we paid, this is a really good place to stay and recommend, would book again.

Not a complaint and it did not bother us but the hotel is, of course, part of and above a pub and on quite a busy road. It goes quiet later on but if you prefer to stay in a very quiet place, then perhaps best to stay further out of town. Also, the parking is small and limited and not easy to find. If you want a space then get there early. Otherwise much easier to use large car park just up the hill as parking in central Harrogate is difficult.

Friendly welcome from Rowena, who also showed me how to get round to the car park at the rear. A very pleasant checking in experience, with all the info I needed. Breakfast was scrumptious - its not often you get runny poached eggs in a hotel, but these were cooked to perfection. I dined at the restaurant the second night, and they couldn't have been more accommodating: because of a food intolerance, they adapted one of the dishes to suit me. All in all a fabulous hotel, with a great team and I will definitely rebook next time I'm in the area.

The digital signal for the TV was absolutely rubbish!!

Lovely room, good location, staff very helpful and pleasant. Did get an offer to carry out case up stairs.

Couldn't get there till 9pm. With it being Sunday everything was closed, thought we were going to have a meal at the Inn, hadn't had a good meal all afternoon, didn't have time with changing trains. Even restaurants were closing, just managed to get a Chinese takeaway across the road. Room lovely but could have a had fridge, even a small one just to cool our water. We had to ask for an iron even though it stated one was in room. Stairs were a slight problem but we knew we were on the top floor.

This is year 2 of staying at the Inn at Cheltenham in the Apartment and we're very pleased with the room, the view, and the facilities. The breakfast each morning is of fantastic quality. For practicality, the distance to the Conference Centre is very convenient and has plenty of great restaurants and takeaways in the vicinity.

Year 1 of staying, the apartments had a kitchenette and these have now been removed. Though the use of this may be limited, the inclusion of a fridge would be ideal for storing snacks, drinks, etc. During year 1, we used the restaurant at the Inn at Cheltenham and the Gammon was, even a year on, the greatest Gammon I and my Wife have had however, the supplier seems to have changed and in year 2, this was disappointing as we looked forward to this meal.

The bedroom was a huge room on the front of the hotel with a large bay window. The on-suite bathroom was almost as big, with an impressive standalone tub taking pride of place. Some of the décor was showing signs of chipping but overall everything was good. Whilst on a busy road, traffic did subside during the evening and having a good nights sleep was not a problem. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The hotel is in a central location and gives easy access to all that Harrogate has to offer. The hotel also serves evening meals, but if you don't fancy the hotel, there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Outstanding staff member for our stay was Izzy, who always had a smile and a welcome.

Nothing, we would be happy to stay at the hotel in the future.

The hotel is in a very good location, right next to the town centre & within walking distance. Parking available to the rear of the hotel on a first come first serve basis as there is only around 10 spaces. Staff were very friendly & helpful. The breakfast was lovely & a varied choice of options available.

The rooms maybe need a little bit of a freshen up in terms of painting, but not a major issue at all. Could’ve been a little cleaner, the bathroom floor had bits/strands of hair so had not been cleaned thoroughly prior to us being given the keys to our room. Other than that the rest of the room was clean and tidy.
