Annik and Christoff are wonderful hosts. So warm friendly and attentive. They love their city and have a wealth of knowledge of it they are glad to share with you. The house itself is a beautifully restored 18th century building with a wonderful lounge area with an honour bar and a beautiful terrace. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and new walk in showers. The breakfast is delicious and ample with a wide range of cheese, meats, fruits and home made bread and fresh squeezed orange juice. It is 5 minutes walk to downtown, 2 minutes walk to the 55 bus at Sint Jacobs which runs directly to and from Gint St Pieters. An added bonus the 55 also runs to the Gulden Draak brewery in Ertvelde which has a great tour and beer tasting. Its only a 33 minute ride. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back again.

The building was renovated recently and was well-appointed but also kept a lot of old-world charm. The location was ideal for exploring the old town of Ghent. The room was large and the artwork throughout the hotel was unique and interesting. A salon with comfortable furnishings and an outdoor terrace provided nice communal spaces to relax. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and featured tasty homemade cakes and jams.

Due to being an older building, some of the steps were a little hard to see, you have to watch where you are going!

Enjoyed chatting with our hosts and other guests over the excellent breakfast. Plenty of information about places to visit available. Comfortable guest sitting room, self service tea and coffee always available. Quiet area, but near public transport. Ghent was a lovely place to spend a few days, and Ganda a good base.

The location was excellent, a short 10-minute walk to a good selection of restaurants, the quays along the river front and the St Bavos Cathedral area. Our room was large and comfortable, and the upstairs lounge area with access to after hours refreshments was delightful. Our hosts Annik and Kristof were fantastic and offered some great insights into their city. Breakfast was also lovely, great bread, selection of cheeses and jams, and freshly cooked eggs.

Only a couple of very minor did not likes - the slightly temperamental pin access and door handle to the room, coffee (prefer a strong espresso to get me going in the morning) and not having someone there on our arrival. Simple phone call and were let in within 10 minutes, but we've become used to the convenience of a 24-hour reception desks. As I say, minor issues given the other positives.

Ganda is stunning building, beautifully restored, full of elegance. The hosts are warm and attentive, and provided tasty snacks and hot and cold beverages in the sitting room. The breakfast room is inviting with a tasty array of food. I was sad to leave and will always have fond memories of my stay. Location was excellent.

I loved the homie feel about the property. The room was so lovely, clean. Extremely comfy bed! The little veranda was exceptional. Nice homemade breakfast! Try good location too!

Needs soundproofing. I had quite poor sleep because I could hear what was going on in other rooms. I know it’s the old building not much could be done about the noises but earplugs could be provided.

This is Ghent! The look and feel of this B&B truly represents the atmosphere of beautiful Ghent. Rooms are spacious, cosy and stylish. This townhouse has a great location to explore the city. The owners are welcoming, super friendly, and helpful. The room was super clean and the toiletries from Fragonard are really nice. Can't wait to be back!

This B&B is very beautiful, in a centuries' old monumental yet comfortable building with everything the modern traveler would expect. A 3 minute walk around the corner of all the historic tourist attractions of Gent. The host and hostess are extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast is excellent. And the city of Gent is probably one of the most beautiful places we have ever visited!

It's a historic and old house, so you do hear some sounds from cracking wooden floors and staircases. And some street sounds from kids and cars, during the day.

Quite delightful “old-fashioned charm” in a truly beautiful and historic townhouse. (The decor is exceptional.) Such delightful hosts who genuinely “aim to please.” The whole experience culminated in a FABULOUS breakfast- All delivered also in the most wonderful setting. If only I could have stayed longer….

Beautiful character property - lovely artistic touches - amazing suite - the comfiest bed - had such a good sleep each night. Big walk in shower. Loved having a sitting area to relax and the balcony was an added bonus. Homemade cake everyday with tea and coffee and a fresh fantastic breakfast with homemade yoghurts, bread etc. Lovely friendly owners on hand for tips and advice. Highly recommend.
