It was very centrally located
I wasn’t able to get an hour late check out. It would have made a difference since I had a conference call that hour

The building in which the hotel is located , has a very beautiful facade. The ground floor and the hotel elevator have a beautiful design and the bar looks very good. There are beautiful decorative objects in the room , that give a touch of elegance. I noticed the cleanliness of the room and bathroom , the quality of the bedding and towles , the very comfortable mattresses and the very good ventilation in the bathroom. Upon arrival , we found a welcome note and two candies , a gesture that confirms that : " small details make the difference " . The reception team ( Voran, Moad , Khalid ) was very kind and ready to help .We felt very well in this hotel !
Those , who cleaned room 302 did not put the coffee pods for the coffee maker , for 4 days .A bad gesture that we announced at the reception and they gave us the pods .Unfortunately , they told us that although they notified the cleaning team , they did nothing about it. Maybe someone from the hotel management team , reads this message and takes the necessary measures. It is sad that a gesture made by the cleaning team can ruin the work of a entire hotel team.

The staff was very friendly, and the service started even before I arrived. They had informed me that a pride parade was occurring on the day I was supposed to arrive so that I could plan ahead as some roads may be closed. The rooms were gorgeous! The location was excellent! I only took transport for the museums which were further outside but we were very central! The lift itself was beautifully decorated and on the floor we were in as soon as the lift opens there is a beautifully designed decorative bath! Truly feels like an instagram hotel!
The breakfast was not €19 a day as per booking.com but €25 a day. I never opted for it as it was a bit too much for my budget. We opted instead for a €4 sandwich from the grocery store next door or McDonalds 2 minutes away. There is no kettle in your room, they have the coffee station on the first floor where you can top up your water, make your tea or use the complementary coffee pods provided in the room.

Travelling to this location was OK as Craves is situated in an area with pedestrian shopping--in other words, cars have a difficult time driving through as the area is a pedestrian mall! Also to go to see some of the main attractions there is a bit of a walk. The roads are not paved but cobblestone so walking would be an issue for some people. The room was small in comparison to some of the 'chain' hotels but it was quaint and decorated with lots of antiques. When we arrived we had to walk to the back of the restaurant/hotel to check in and were given a quieter room that did not face the front. The room was smaller than some of the bigger chain hotels but this only added to the charm. Breakfast was great and one had lots of choices from croissants and fresh buns/rolls/breads, cereal, yogurt, waffles, coffee, tea and juice. One could also order eggs, etc. if they wanted something hot.
With respect to the room, I did not enjoy having so many antiques on the counter below the TV or on the end tables on each side of the bed! The side tables were not very large and one had to be careful when putting something on the table. The end tables are a bit small and when there is a small lamp, some knickknacks, one has to be careful if putting a glass of water/bottle on the table as well.

We chose this hotel because of the location—in the centre of the city and close to the train station, which took us about a 10-minute walk. The hotel location is surrounded by casino, restaurants, museum and a supermarket so it is very busy. We stayed in the apartment across from the main hotel in a two-double-bed room (separate rooms) on the second floor. We could hear a little bit of noise, but they provided us with earplugs, so they helped with our sleep. I suggest you book a different hotel if you are a light sleeper and don't want to use earplugs. We received a nice complimentary basket, which was a very nice treat for us. We decided to have breakfast in the hotel so my husband could charge his phone at the reception (no, we couldn't borrow a charger), which was a great move because it's a very good value for money. They had a great selection of coffee from a machine and a variety of pastries, eggs, fish, cheese, and salad.
