I was upgraded to a larger room which had a view of the local street. The room service for "working dinners" on 2 different nights was excellent. The food arrived well prepared and the server set the meal up in a manner i could continue working. There was a treat of macarons gifted to the order. i also ordered breakfast on 2 occasions which came timely and well prepared. In addition all the staff greeted me every time I came in & out of the hotel, asking if I needed anything and politely offer their services if requested.

The rain head shower didn't have hot enough water to use. The bathtub faucet and handheld shower head had plenty of hot water.

- the room was tidy - bathroom was ok - location is excellent - room service is great - staff overall are professional - concierge staff were very helpful - had a problem before checking out the safe stopped working after informing the front office about my issue all they needed is 5 minutes and the technician was there and solved the problem Such excellence is a trademark of Rocco forte collection

- unfortunately one cup was dirty in the room - the sink and the shower gets clogged - rates of the rooms are a little higher than what I would’ve expected - unfortunately one of the biggest problems is the sounds outside the room

Hotel was beautiful, rooms were great clean and turn down service was superb. My only fault was things were over the top expensive. They had small bottles of water in the room, they were 9 euro, I went a block away and got a large bottle of Evian for 2 euro. Drinks at the lobby bar were 25 euro, the bar a block away were 8.50 euro. Breakfast was 45 euro per person, right across the street, a great waffle and coffee were under 10 euro. I mean come on,really . Just a lil price gouging.

Great location close to the main Square and old city. Wonderful bar with small casual meals available and a great arty vibe. (Margritte). Live music weekend evenings.

The plumbing needs attention . Our bathroom and room smelled stuffy and slightly septic the whole time we were there. Advised reception . Not able to make a cup of tea in the room, and to get one from the bar cost 8 euro. (2 cups, 2 teabags , one small pot of hot water. ) The restaurant is very expensive. Many good dining options close to the hotel. Hotel held our credit card which is expected, but what we didn’t expect was that they took money every day we were there .

You can't beat the location right next to the main Square. The staff spoil you with their service and you feel being looked after.

The only thing I can think of is unreasonably costly minibar items in the room. I know you always pay more for items purchased from your room directly but it still feels weird to pay 9 euros for a small glass bottle of water. Other than that everything perfect!

The welcome we received on arrival - friendly, professional and helpful. We were taken to our room which was cosy but plenty big enough with a lovely large bathroom. Clean, comfortable and spacious. The lounge bar was excellent with attentive service. The hotel couldn't do enough for us with any queries or booking taxis. The was a good choice for breakfast with lots of fresh foods and fruit as a buffet. An excellent stay all round and we will certainly book the Amigo again.

Central location is perfect. Lovely safe neighborhood with many attractions within a short walk.

The staff although pleasant in general refused to deal with Booking.com after they discovered that I had two reservations (a mistake since I only reserved one room). I was in a foreign land on a Saturday night without sufficient language skills to deal adequately a situation like this. Absolutely no help in resolving this issue.

I initially thought it was a very fancy hotel, but I realized it was more of an apartment-style design. I had reserved a junior suite, but they upgraded me to a higher suite. During checkout, they requested that I pay a city tax of €5,000. I refused because, according to my reservation, all fees, including taxes, had already been paid in advance.

The 5 star treatment right from alighting from the airport taxi was top notch. The Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel gives the impression of a very well furnished and maintained property. The decor was also 5-star with antique furniture.

The Staff at the breakfast seemed overwhelmed and kept us waiting for 15 minutes more than necessary. That put me under pressure as I had a train to catch and therefore, did not enjoy the meal. The waffle was also dry and cold. Of cause, the supervisor apologised but the deed had been done.
