The clerks at the Reception Desk were friendly and helpful. They gave us directions to some of the main areas of interest. The guest room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The location was an easy walking distance to restaurants and several of the sights that we wanted to experience.

We needed a taxi to take us to the hotel and to pick us up to go to the train station. However, the taxis do not stop at the front door of the hotel, so guests must walk about a block when using a taxi to check-in or check-out. Although, this is not the fault of the Alma Grand Place Hotel, and it was not a big issue.

The location was perfect, three minutes from the Gran Place, thirty seconds from a street buzzing with restaurants, but in a quiet street. In the room it was hard to believe the lively crowds were so near. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We only had breakfast in the hotel once, as there are lots of eating places nearby, but it was good value, with hot and cold options. In terms of accessibility, it's five minutes walk from Central Station

Can't think of anything negative. The pillows were a bit too fluffy for me...one was too small, but two were too high! But that's a personal thing.

This was our second stay, the first being about 5 years ago. The location on a narrow cobbled street just off the Grand Place and a few minutes' walk from Central Station couldn't be better. There's any number of cafes, bars, restaurants and shops in the immediate area, including the lovely Galeries Hubert and the unique and venerable old Toon pub and marionette theatre. The hotel is also within an easy stroll of so many of Brussels' sights and attractions. The reception staff are very friendly, helpful and welcoming, and the daily housekeeping routinely provided is becoming a rarity in many European hotels. We stayed in Room 106 on the first floor facing the street. Soundproofing was good both inside and outside the hotel and we slept well in our very comfortable bed. Our room was a good size, was well decorated and everything worked well. We appreciated the kettle and tea/coffee supplies, the safe and iron/ironing board. Our room had a separate toilet and shower room which was handy and both were spotless. Checking in and out was fast thanks to the exceptional staff. The hotel is ideal for a short stay in the heart of all the best that Brussels has to offer. We'll be back!

Very convenient location, so close to Brussels Central station. Lots of eateries around. The Grand square is so close. Lots of walking tours available from the location. Carrefour is closely located if you do not want to have breakfast at the hotel. Very helpful and friendly staff. Overall a great experience.

No arrangement of drinking water except on the first day when a bottle is given. One can buy water bottles from closeby shops though.

We booked a duplex for a family of 4 and it was pretty spacious. It was what we expected based on the price and reviews. Staff was really friendly and helpful. The location is a perfect for exploring and right in the heart of the historic district. Would highly recommend as a base and we were barely in the room for the 2 days that we were there.

The rooms were a bit dated, and need some work like caulking the shower which had some mildew. Otherwise it was totally fine. The staircase leading up to the room upstairs in the duplex was a bit wobbly and scary for adults to go up. There was also a motion light along the stair case which kept going off on it's on in the middle of the night which kept disturbing my sleep.

You couldn't ask for a better location. The hotel was a five minute walk from Central Station - trains, subway, buses. The old town was right outside the door. Great restaurants, activities, sights and the staff was excellent. Cleanliness was top notch, best I've seen in a long time. Wifi was great and the breakfast was excellent. I would unquestionably stay there again.

Lighting was improperly placed and in the bathroom the light was behind your head and you could only see a shadow of your face. The air conditioning did not appear to be working properly, the room was very warm in the evenings.

Extremely helpful and kind staff. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the rooms were very clean. We had all we needed. The Rituals toiletries were a treat.

It was all fine. The road it’s on is a bit lively at night, but with the windows shut, you can’t hear a thing. Our towels were not changed mid-stay when we had left them out, but it wasn’t the end of the world. A few more teabags and milk sachets in the room would gave been great, but everything else was so good. Thank you, Alma staff.

Ideal Location: The hotel is perfectly situated within walking distance of the Grand Place and numerous other attractions. Room: The room is notably spacious, although the heating system didn't perform as expected. Breakfast: While offered at 15 euros per person, we opted not to take it. Staff: The personnel were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Luggage Deposit: A noteworthy perk – there's no charge for luggage storage if you return to the hotel.

While the facility exhibits signs of aging and the lobby is relatively compact, these aspects are understandable considering its central location in Brussels. However, I would suggest enhancing the heating system in the rooms as it didn't provide the level of warmth I anticipated during my stay. Overall, the facility's location compensates for these minor inconveniences.

Outstanding location. Only minutes from Grand Place in one direction and Central train station in the other. Fantastic shopping (chocolate), views (Grand Place), waffles, restaurants, pubs only minutes away. Absolutely at the heart of Brussells.

The best feature is also its worst. Because it is so close to the Grand Place and surrounding restaurants and pubs it is loud at night. Singing and shouting punters pass by the windows all night until the sun rises. Music pulsates too.

The location of the property is excellent. Close to lots of restaurants and the Grand Place. The rooms were spacious and the reception staff were very helpful. Good AC unit too.

The walls are very thin so you can unfortunately here other guests talking in their hotel rooms.
