A wonderful experience in the heart of Brussels! I recently stayed at Hotel The Moon, and I can only highly recommend it. The location is simply unbeatable: just a few steps from the magnificent Grand Place, right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore Brussels on foot. The room was comfortable, clean, and perfectly equipped—ideal for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Special mention goes to the bed, which was incredibly comfortable! Despite its central location, the hotel is quiet and ensures a peaceful night. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help. Their attention to detail and willingness to make the stay enjoyable truly make a difference. A charming hotel with excellent service and a central location in Brussels. I’ll definitely return on my next trip!

Nothing to complain about, everything was perfect.

We were upgraded for free to a 3 person room as we had heavy baggage and there is no elevator. Our room overlooked the public square with restaurants, entertainers and lots of activity from 10:00 to 22:00. Quite enjoyed the atmosphere, unlike any of our other stops on this trip. Easy walks to the Grote Markt, Mannequin Piz, the Royal Palace and most other sites. Just a great location. Staff are very friendly and helpful and on duty 24/7 for security.

The hotel is an older facility and has a few maintenance issues, nothing that was a deal killer. The floor has been water damaged at some point and is due to be replaced but was still relatively serviceable. The window balcony door doesn't close totally but is good enough for weather and security. (You'd have to scale 2 floors on the outside to get there anyway)

The location was very close to Central train station, main attractions in Brussels and many restaurants. The room although small, it met my needs. It was clean and towels were changed ever day. Staff was very friendly and helpful even before I arrived. Luggage storage was provided which for me was very essential as my flight was very late in the evening. We only had to step outside of the hotel to be in the centre of everything and this city is definately alive :)

Overall I was happy but certain things could be improved. A small mat (not plastic like the one that is provided) for the shower. Just a note: shower is quite small and this it could be an issue! For me it was ok! Room 22 is overlooking the main square and it could be quite noisy, so it might be a good idea to ask for a more quiet room. Perhaps a small kettle in the room. The staff offered to make us some tea which was very nice of them but if one is provided in the room it would be better.

Great location - central to everything and ideal if attending meetings at "the Square" event complex - very close to Brussels Central station and hence airport and a few steps from the old town and grand square - staff at reception were always there as you have to hand in key every time you leave. Basic but clean and above all the location - stairs would be a issue for some.

For the price and the fact it was as advertised nothing springs to mind - staff were friendly and wifi was excellent for those staying like me on business.

The location is ideal, just a few metres walk from the central station and at a walking distance from the key city landmarks. The rooms are basic but comfortable and the host Mr. Memon is super friendly and accomodating. Highly recommended.

The hotel doesn't have an elevator so it can be an issue for those who cant climb the stairs. But the host Mr. Memon is very accomodating and he assigned us a room on 1st floor as we did not want to take a flight upstairs after walking around the city for all day.

A perfect location literally few steps to Grand Place and close to Central station. good for solo travelers like me who just need a comfortable bed to sleep at night and close to public transport :) do not choose this hotel if you have heavy luggage as the hotel does not have lift. the person at the desk was friendly and helpful.

Everytime I need to go out, I had to deposit the room key at the reception. Not sure why! Rest all are good.

Amazing location- so central! The room was large, really clean and had all we needed. We actually really liked the buskers outside as it added atmosphere. It was near so many amenities and attractions. Staff were really helpful.

Nothing we didn’t like. Some people might not like the loud buskers outside or the 3 storey climb but it’s really worth it for the location and value.

Location was perfect, middle of the center. Room was big and clean.

Staff wants us to leave the keys on reception every time we leave the room, thought it is really weird and not safe. We had also trouble to check in, they only want the person who makes the reservation otherwise they won't let anybody to check in before that person arrives. No elevator, so many stairs to carry a big luggage's. Since it is in mid center, room was really loud.

Perfect location, in the heart of the Brussels. The hotel staff iz very professional and kind, they help you in all your demands or explain everything you are interested in.The gay MEMON is always there to help you and we appreciate it a lot. The room was very clean and everything else in it. Women who clean rooms are very nice, always ask if something else is needed. I would be again in this hotel and I recommend it sincerely! Very good choice and very good rate.

Location and price are definitely the highlights. It’s really close to the central station and grand place, (walking distance even with big bags) and it’s half the price comparing to other hotels at the same location. (you can go from brussels midi-zuid to brussels central for free with your train ticket)!

The place is a little old, so are the rooms and bathroom. it doesn’t have lifts, only stairs, keep that in mind according to your luggage. Even so, highly recommended it for 1 night stay in a quick trip to brussels (don know if we would like to stay for more than one night, though)
