The apartments are really close to town - about a 5 minute walk. The views from the apartment we were in (sea view) were lovely and we could see both marinas. The apartment was clean and well appointed, and had everything we needed. The kitchen has all the appliances and tools you need. Being able to hire beach towels for a small fee was great and really appreciated. Cathy is a fantastic host and she gave us all the information we needed for tours and local sites. We loved our stay and would like to rebook for next year.

The walk up a steep hill, but you get used to it

The apartment had everything we needed, including thoughtful touches like dishwasher tablets, a hairdryer, and an iron with an ironing board. The pool was conveniently located right next to our apartment, which was perfect when my little one wanted a swim. The location was great, although the walk back up the hill could be a bit of a challenge. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming.

The location was great, although walking back up the hill could be a bit tricky at times with a young child. We could have used a few more towel changes during our 7-day stay, but it wasn’t a major issue.

The location and the rooms are beautiful! especially loved our balcony looking out on the water! Lovely spacious apartment and the beds are super comfortable! Good kitchen facilities and washing facilities. The pools are lovely aswell.

The hill is not for the faint-hearted. Luckily, we were comfortable enough walking up and down to the town which is quite close. The view is worth but definitely a word of warning. Stair only access to upper levels. Not ideal if you have accessibility issues.

Great apartment with balcony overlooking over the garden area. Comfortable and large 2 bedroom accommodation, although we only had access to one of the bedrooms but that was all that we had requested. Large lounge with dining area and much appreciated aircon. Pool a much welcome addition. The location is great for accessing town, close enough but quiet but as others have stated it's a bit of a climb back up the short but steep hill....taxis in town will accept the short trip though so not a problem. Manager Cathy went over and above to assist us with booking trips and attended to any requests we asked.

The view from the pool is quite beautiful. The unit is large enough to accommodate large families and the location is quite good, specially if you booked day tours for Whitehaven because there are pick-up locations close by.

Can be a bit noisy if your neighbours are loud teenagers smoking outside their units, which was our case. Although the manager did warn them to go inside their unit after 10pm, which helped. Just saying maybe the whole complex should be a non-smoking area to avoid situations like this.

We had a good sized 2 bedroom apartment with comfy beds and well equipped kitchen and bathroom. The pool had a lovely outlook and BBQ facilities, which we used one evening and dined near the pool. I liked how it wasn't too close to the main street of Airlie Beach (we could hear in the distance the music from the nightclubs, nothing that affected our sleep though). Very good comms from Cathy and was helpful booking our shuttle to the airport.

There is no lift to get to the 1st or 2nd floors. I'm sure reception would take your bags up if needed, but just something to be mindful of.

Loved our stay here - cheaper than a lot of other places in the area but really good location. It’s up a short but steep hill, it’s really not that bad and there’s a beautiful view of the sunset from the top of the hill. Apartment is a bit dated but clean and comfortable - having the washing machine and drying rack was handy for us. Everything you need for self catering in the kitchen. Didn’t use the pool because we spent most of our time at the lagoon.

Quiet location at the top of a hill, with great views of the marina. Pool looked nice and well maintained, but we didn't have time to use it.

Cathy at reception was extremely rude. She wasn't at reception upon our arrival and did not pick up our calls. We waited 20 minutes and when she finally showed up she didn't even greet us or acknowledge the fact that we had been waiting. She asked my friend to wait outside while she checked us in because she wanted to "stay away from southern germs" (we are from a southern state and we were not unwell with symptoms of an infection). When she realised we were offended she went on a rant about how she can't run her business if she catches an illness from us southerners.

Great views, comfy bed, lovely pool. Close to town, one steep hill to navigate (about 150m) then the rest fairly flat. 5-10 min walk down to main part of town, 15mins to Woolies. There are good shuttle bus services that do pick up & drop off straight to the apartments. Some activities & pubs offer free shuttle bus services. Airport shuttle bus was $42 return.

The manager seemed a bit grumpy, wasn’t very friendly or approachable (a bit over worked or been there too long). I asked for one extra loo roll & she was very reluctant to hand one over. Our toaster didn’t work (was replaced tho) & I think some of the other electrical appliances & power points probably need to be checked/tested. Otherwise we loved our stay.

We were lucky as got upgraded to the best apartment. It had the most amazing deck with views over the marina and from the main bedroom. Lovely decor, clean and tidy with well-stocked kitchen. Great location a short walk to the main drag in town and beaches. Really beautiful place, we didn't want to leave.

Only downside was it is near a fairly busy road, but was very quiet at night. Some of the lights at the back of the apartment didn't work.
