The room was large, very clean, and well appointed. The kitchen was properly stocked with plates, cutlery, glasses, and cookware, with a full size oven, microwave, cooktop and sink and plenty of benchtop. It would easily provide for a family looking to self-cater their stay. There is also a Built-in laundry with both washer and dryer, so perfect for longer stays too. We had a third floor apartment, with a large outside deck that could easily seat 4, and the high altitude views over the water was fantastic. Parking is provided undercover below the apartment block, with lift service to your floor. Club Wyndham also provide a bus service six times a day to the local town - absolutely necessary if you don't like climbing, - whilst the apartments are only 500m from the town centre, they feel like they are about 500m higher too! Tides restaurant is on site and the food is excellent - both breakfast, and evening meal, and they also have room service if you prefer. The staff also are very welcoming and accommodating, and quite happy to go above the norm to ensure satisfaction. All in all, I would highly recommend Club Wyndham to anyone as a full service hotel, with occasional, or even full time self catering options.

The room we stayed in (631) was showing signs of its age - the shower turned itself off whilst you were using it, the toilet roll holder was a bit loose, ad there were minor damages and wear and tear marks. This did not in any way detract from the holiday. The complex was undertaking renovation work at the time of our stay, and having had similar experiences previously, I was initially worried that it would negatively impact our stay, but it did not. Contractors were present, and working, but they made very little noise, and caused almost no disturbance (The worst was having a machine delivered, which blocked the main access for less than 5 minutes. Seriously, do not be worried about the ongoing renovation works.

Loved the size of the rooms, beds were comfortable and having two bathrooms for a two bedroom apartment was really handy.

I was disappointed that the hotel’s reviews and photos highlighted stunning sea views from the balcony, but in reality, the overgrown vegetation completely obstructed the view. When I expressed my concerns to the staff, they were dismissive and unhelpful, offering no resolution.

Room were great and so was the view. Pool are was also fantastic. The cleaning lady were extremely nice nd helpful. They would be better at the front desk as they were extremely helpful

Lady at breakfast was pretty average she she didn’t ask us if it was our first time there so explained nothing. She was an older lady and was pretty rude. Coffee was cold in there would be better to have an urn which keeps the water hot. Did ask for someone to call me in regards to buying an apartment but that was obviously too hard. Front desk girls were ok I’ve had better service elsewhere. Found the meals pretty small for the cost. The bar closes quite early at 8am as went up at 8.05pm for a drink and they were closed. Would be nice if there were more shuttle buses throughout the day.

We loved the location of hotel. We walked from the ferry to hotel. It was just a few minutes up the hill. Also the apartment was decorated in a blue sea style which was restful and matching well with the backdrop of the water view… The beds were comfy and both bedrooms had their own ensuite. The spa bath in ensuite was amazing. These apartments had all the comfort necessary with washing machine, dryer for Sandy towels (beach towels inside wardrobes), dishwasher and all cooking appliances necessary. On the first night, we had free drinks with our mains at the restaurant. Restaurant had a beautiful view and our meals tasted good. The free breakfast was amazing with the choice between great breakfast dishes a la carte… only barista coffees and extra drinks had to be paid extra… normal coffees/ teas and juices were already included. We had a delightful stay. We also loved the white cockatoos flying around and sometimes landing on balconies… they were so beautiful. Hotel offers shuttles to Airlie town center a few times a day for convenience but it is also a nice short walk in case you miss it? Our stay was a dream!

View fantastic, facilities terrific, beds amazing! Bath on the deck a nice touch. Once we worked out how to heat spa also terrific. Couldn't get the WIFI to work, and have no idea how the internal phone worked - we used our mobiles. They were prompt to bring the cot for the baby. Parking convenient - right in front of entry to suite. Staff all very helpful and pleasant. Meals fairly ordinary - my steak for room service was terrific, but presentation in a box not so great, partners chicken woeful. Breakfast ordinary.

Food was very ordinary. Breakfast very generic. The waffle out of a packet - because it was the same one I give my grandson at home ...

We loved staying at Club Wyndham! The views are incredible, staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious and very comfortable beds. The balcony and bathrooms were huge! The apartment had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The beds and pillows are also extremely comfortable! The pool area is great, love the infinity pool and spa! The food was average but was fine for 3 days, and loved that breakfast was included in our stay. We will definitely stay here again!

The pool area was quite small for the size of the resort. If you stay during the warmer months, it would be hard to get a sun bed around the pool as there wasn't many and was very tight trying to walk around the pool area with other guests there. And like all the other reviews say, the hill getting in/out of the resort is horrendous! We never walked it, we would always get an uber/taxi as I don't think we would have made it! But you can't beat the views, so worth it if you want the view. If you want to be closer to the main part of town, then don't stay here though.

The location of the hotel is very convenient for any boat trips that you may be considering - we were able to walk to the port area. The breakfasts were very good, though it was a slightly odd setup, in terms of having one menu item included for free, and then you pay for any extras. Staff were super friendly and very welcoming. We also enjoyed the facilities, namely using the gym. Room was very spacious, comfortable and we had our own parking space.

Not all gym equipment was operational.

Amazing resort. Staff are fab, and very accomodating. The room is massive, large balcony and TV in the bedroom and also in the lounge. (1 bed apartment) Massive spa and 2 seperate basins which was awesome! Happy hour daily. Great cocktails Beautiful walk down to Airlie centre. POD coffee machine and milk frother was such a bonus! Comfy couch.freezing aircon x 2. Great options at restaurant and a seperate room service menu too.

The hills! Golly gosh! Make sure your car has a bit of power to get up the very steep driveway! Checking in was confusing. Wasn’t sure where to park to check in and no signage’s expect for ‘no parking’ (I parked in the first underground parking and walked up to reception (on level 3) Not much signage around the stairs to point you in correct directions. To get to the apartments you had to walk up stairs, no lifts. although it was only 1 flight, if you have a few bags this will be a hassle.

We had big apartment with 3 bedrooms on the top floor with amazing view. Everything was very nice, big balcony, 3 bathrooms, extra towels for swimming pool. Swimming pool was really great! We also ate in the restaurant and it was really good!

The only minus I would say was the breakfast.. It was very nice, a la cart menu. I just missed bit of variety. A lot of options with eggs. But for "sweet breakfast" lovers little bit less options. Maybe pancakes or french toast can be added. Otherwise we really enjoyed pur stay! Beautiful!

Great location for Airlie Beach and access to Whitsunday islands. It’s just a 10/15 minute walk to bars and restaurants and shops in Airlee and there’s a courtesy minibus every hour up to 6:30 pm The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The pool is small if the hotel is busy and not many sunbeds. Breakfasts were excellent and a good choice available. Some parts of the hotel are looking a bit tired but overall a good place to stay
