Fantastic "old style" hotel with crazy view on the Lugano and the lake. Great room, super good petit déjeuner, sympathatic team always available, nice restaurant... nice terrasse with bar... One of the best place in Lugano !

Parking is time to time complicated (mainly when parties with extrenal customers coming). Would be nice that parking for hotel resident remained reserved the full duration of the stay. Only negative point for me...

We stored bags after checkout and they accidently gave my sons backpack to another hotel guest but luckily they were able to contact the driver and get his bag back thankfully as it had his passport. Breakfast could have had more warm cooked foods. Have to walk 1km to the lake and 1km to the train station, in a residential neighborhood

This place has such elegance, grace, class, and accommodation that I'm mind blown that this place isn't recognized more!!! Perhaps a hidden gem for the a listers because you'll see in their book all the celebrities who have been there. Live music, amazing food, rooms that rival vegas BEST suites! Staff, the only kind you get from such class of hotel. Location up above the lake and hidden but perfect. Thank you for being so great to us and what your doing is PERFECT

Beautiful hotel set up from the lake side (1.5km walk to lake) Old School Italian Excellence. Helpful friendly staff. Wonderful restaurant overlooking the lake. Very clean. 5 star luxury

We booked a junior suite which was lovely overlooking the garden. The only negative was we were given a disabled access room. Which was okay but the shower was very small with a shower curtain, long handled tap and chair, this made the cubicle very small indeed. The curtain was no good and the floor ended up wet through. This is a minor inconvenience but none the less, when being issued with a disabled access room you should be informed

The room was beautiful and large, the location was stunning. A bit out of town but not difficult to reach the centre of Lugano quickly by car, taxi or shuttle. Nice pool area and bar area

I found that staff were not particularly responsive to email - I had to chase up emails because there was no reply. Also, breakfast, it took 30 mins+ to make some poached eggs - the second time because they forgot to give the order to the kitchen.

The view from the hotel's main garden terrace is stunning and the food and drink options were excellent, including their Michelin-starred restaurant. The breakfast was good, with very high quality products, including freshly squeezed orange juice and delicious bread. The view from the breakfast terrace was wonderful. The hotel had two lovely outdoor pools, neither of which seemed to get too crowded and there were additional facilities including a relatively well-stocked gym at their sister hotel 100m away.

Our bathroom was a little dated and it was difficult to have a shower without spraying water into the bathroom as the shower curtain and screen were inadequate. For the quality of the hotel and the bedrooms, the bathrooms were a bit disappointing and they would benefit from some investment. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful but they did occasionally seem a bit overloaded - possibly because it was a busy week but not yet high season.

Location is absolutely beautiful, staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is served with a lot of good food and drinks. Christmas decorations are amazing. Bar is great with live music.

Amazing views! Nice location near Monte San Salvatore. Rooms were very big and clean. The hotel does need a little renovation but over a fantastic stay. Lunch on the terrace was good and loved the nightly live music at the bar.

The breakfast buffet had very little selections.

Very nice luxury boutique hotel. The general ambience of the hotel is really great.

Not much not to like, except the delivery of our orders was rather slow on the first 2 days. On the 3rd day, a young lady served us, and she was more attentive than the chap who served us on the 1st 2 days.

5 star resort beautifully located on a hill with a breathtaking view over "Lago die Lugano". We felt absolutely welcomed by the hotel team and the complimentary services such as tennis courst and bike rentals were more than convenient.
