Absolutely beyond magical! ✨ Staying at Palazzo Portinari Salviati Residence in Florence was nothing short of a dream come true. From the very first moment we arrived, we were swept into a world of elegance, beauty, and five-star perfection that felt straight out of a fairy tale. I genuinely felt like a princess living in a Renaissance palace! The service was pristine truly next-level. Every single staff member we encountered was warm, welcoming, and genuinely invested in making our stay unforgettable. It’s rare to feel both so pampered and so at home at the same time, but they managed it flawlessly. The rooms? Immaculate. Gorgeously appointed with elegant touches and historic charm, yet seamlessly modern and luxurious. The attention to detail in the design made me want to stay forever waking up there was like stepping into a painting. As for the food delicious, fresh, and surprisingly healthy! Each breakfast felt curated with love, with ingredients that tasted like they came straight from a Tuscan garden. Everything was beautifully plated and tasted even better than it looked. This wasn’t just a hotel stay it was an experience, one that enchanted me from start to finish. I honestly cannot recommend Palazzo Portinari Salviati Residence enough. If you’re heading to Florence and want to feel like royalty while being cared for with the utmost grace and sophistication, look no further. 10 stars if I could! 🌟👑💕

The property is absolutely stunning – a true Florentine palazzo with breathtaking historical interiors and modern comfort. The suite was spacious, elegant, and beautifully decorated, combining heritage with luxury. The location in the very heart of Florence is perfect, with everything just a short walk away, yet the hotel feels peaceful and exclusive. The staff were attentive, professional, and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was also excellent, served in a magnificent setting.

There is nothing significant to mention – everything was beyond expectations.

Having visited Florence as a student, it remained embedded in my memory as a city of exceptional charm and beauty. This time, returning with my husband, the experience was completely different and city even more stunning! A large part of this was due to the efforts of the team at Palazzo Portinari Salviati. The hotel itself is gorgeous with a majestic courtyard, delightfully unexpected given its ideal location in the heart of the historic and cultural quarter. The room (303) and bathroom were large, luxuriously appointed and very peaceful, effortlessly merging old-world and contemporary charm. We were also very touched by the bottle of Laurent Perrier champagne that was placed in our room to commemorate our anniversary! Given that we visited in August and the temperatures outside were soaring, the only issue we faced was the inefficiency of the air-conditioning system. Despite the concerted efforts of the engineer to rectify the cooling system, it remained uncomfortably warm, providing little respite from the unbearable heat outdoors. Although the weather may have impacted the cooling power, we did not face this issue in any of the other properties we stayed at and it was therefore difficult to have a restful night’s sleep. Apart from this, the experience was otherwise flawless. Every single member of the team was polite, thoughtful, engaging and went out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. A special mention must go the concierge team, which was the best we encountered during our entire trip. Every request was handled efficiently and they were always available on WhatsApp, which was very handy to communicate on the go. Their recommendations, particularly for dining, were exceptional and we discovered some wonderful restaurants and cocktail bars that we have bookmarked for our next visit!

Continued from above ... Our heartfelt gratitude to the entire team for a wonderful stay. Special mention to the manager Emiliano, the lovely Chiaras and Paula, Andreas, Alessandro, Henry, Dani and Moussa. We didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to visit again! P&G

Absolutely unforgettable stay! The service was impeccable - every staff member was attentive, kind, and made us feel truly special. We stayed in the Junior Suite, which is by far the most beautiful room I’ve ever seen - spacious, elegant, and breathtaking. As a surprise for my birthday, they even left a gorgeous bouquet in the room. Every detail was perfect. Highly recommend!

This hotel is absolutely stunning and meets well beyond expectations easily. The staff are all well trained, very pleasant and helpful, every person no matter their area of responsibility. Our room was perfect, not large but intimate and extremely comfortable. We had an extraordinary view from the terrace and spent a great deal of time there. The spa was outstanding and the policy of only allowing a few guests at a time means it can be enjoyed in comfort and peace. I applaud them for doing this. The breakfast is very good as are other meals at the restaurant in the lobby. There are many exquisite spaces to spend a quiet time reading or contemplating what has brought you to such a beautiful haven.

The gym could be better organised and equipped.

After a mix up on our booked room we were given a palatial suite at a much reduced rate. Amazing by any measure we would know. Restaurant was first class with good breakfast in an opulent setting. It became our oasis in this busy city. We wanted over the top & we got that in spades.... DELIGHTFUL.

This is a beautiful historical villa turned hotel in the heart of Florence, like 3mins walking distance from the Duomo and not more than 15mins walking distance from all the major tourist places. So first of, location can't be beat! Second, this is a stunning property - the main breakfast/lunch area has such a sophisticated and festive vibe! The rooms are beautifully decorated, well appointed and spacious! The staff is very nice, warm & welcoming - super thanks to Emiliano (hope I get the spelling right!) and Chiara! My only regret is that I couldn't spend more time at the hotel due to our packed itinerary. A truly beautiful place and so well restored - we're so grateful to have visited and stayed at Palazzo Portinari! Overall, 10/10! Already planning to come back!

The hotel is so impressive inside that it takes your breath away. The service was second to none. Every day before we arrived, we were contacted to see if there was anything we needed and the responce time was very quick. At the hotel everyone as smiling and they made sure we were ok and if there was anything we needed to make to stay perfect. The Hotel manager came over a few times to say hello and see if we were having an excellent experience. We asked for a few services, like massages in our room and barber services and this was offered in the hotel or at the place of the service provider. There are not many hotels i would go back to but this hotel i would. The food was amazing at breakfast and the evening meal we had was michelin standard, as the chef had a Michelin Star at the previous hotel he worked at. Top rating for this hotel and staff. Thanks for Ciara on the front desk who looked after us from start to finish and the other staff who made our stay exceptional.

As the hotel had just opened some of the facilities were not available, like the pool and the spa facilities. These would have been available if we had arrived after the 15th June 2022. I did search for hotel with a pool and this was the biggest disappointment for us. But they did upgrade us to a duplex suite which was amazing. So, i hope when we next go they will look after us and again and we can benefit from all the facilities.

Fantastic service. Everyone genuinely treats you like you have saved the world and they have made plays and feature films about you. Combine this with the luxury of the hotel and the incredible location to step right into history, and it all feels like a dream. Truly a stay to remember.
