One of the best hostels I have been, clean, modern, good location, can cook if you want, location is near the beach and the lady from the reception very nice and helpful with all the information and also easy to check out, etc. Thank you for everything :)

Is not the fact that did not like, simply need to be carefull if one of the perosn from the room goes out, will take the card and there will be no electricity..so in the morning could have a surprise that your phone did not charge...but if you check...you can avoid this situation.

In my opinion, an average hostel. I appreciate the comfortable beds with curtains, but the dorm room would be quite cramped if 6 people were to occupy the room. The receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. There is not possible selfcheck-in, but selfcheck-out is possible.

There are no lockers for bag (!) in the dorm room and there is little storage space, and there is no place to put clothes in the bathroom. The common areas are well equipped, but the fridge is a tiny one for all guests. There is no tea available, only coffee. The hostel is located in the center, but Praia da Victoria is a smaller, poorer and a bit dirty town (than Angra do Herroisimo). Unfortunately, the other guests are like a cheap hostel, ill-mannered and things get lost here both in the bathroom and in the kitchen too. It's not the hostel's responsibility, but it's unfortunately a reality and you have to take it into account. Or maybe you'll be luckier.

The location, the staff especially Miss Filipa who made us feel very welcomed.

The kitchen needs some improvements, needs a toaster, and a bigger fridge with all the shelves. The shower needs an update, clean or replace the mastic, in some areas is showing some mould as well as the tiles a good clean because some of the joints are with mould.

The room was big, clean, it feels really new and the style is really cosy. It really felt like home! Staff was really nice and welcoming. Location is great, barely 5 min walking to the beach, restaurants and city center close by. If you’re looking for a nice town to stay in Terceira, Praia da Vitoria is great and so is the Royal Beach Hostel!

Not much, we stayed there for 3 nights and would have need to do a bit of clean up at some point. We didn’t ask for it but it would have been nice to change towels since ours were not drying up in the bathroom. We didn’t use the kitchen, we wanted to make some tea but the kettle smelled really bad.

Contacting locals were not always an option since there were not always WhatsApp numbers to call (only international rate calls that rack up expensive very quickly) which made it tricky to figure out how to book a taxi so maybe investing in a communal hostel phone that can make local calls or recommending people that have a WhatsApp txt or call option would be nice; the coffee machine didn’t work and it was a bit moldy inside where the coffee grinds were

Next to the beach and impossible to get lost. Filipa is accommodating and was able to check me in a little later, plus helped me book a taxi. Loved the privacy curtains, the mattress comfort, real sheets, and provided towel.

Not all the beds had a lamp I could find but it was just fine because my bed was next to the window so I could use the night lights outside to see.

The staff is very friendly. There is a coffee machine and free snacks like cookies. A lovely terrace outside.

It’s a bit inconvenient that the electricity only works with a card in the card holder near the door. It feels off if you’re staying with several people in the room you don’t know. The internet connection was also slow. Some tea in the kitchen would be lovely too!

The hostel is a beautiful place near the beach of Praia da Vitoria, really close to the airport (like 5/10 mins by car). We only stayed a night in a double room which was even better than what I was expecting. Also the common areas seemed cozy. Moreover, the most appreciate thing has been the girl in the reception who was amazingly kind and helpful (she even solved us a big problem with the taxi for the next morning at late hours).

Nice outdoor patio and spacious communal kitchen. Excellent location steps from the beach. Conveniently located community bathrooms near kitchen if the dorm bathroom was occupied…..well thought out!

More shelves in dorm room and a locker system would be great (even if they want a couple euros for renting)…..typical dorm dilemmas

The check-in secretary is kind, helpful and her hospitality is a 15 out of 10!!!

They only provided 1 towel per person. I would prefer 2 towels per person. I would have asked for more; however, a 24 hours attendant isn't available. I'm sure if we had asked for an additional towel when we checked in, the staff would have provided it.
