Originally they put us at The Dewey a different property not far away but the room was dark, hot and did not have a closet or anywhere to hang up clothes or even a suitcase stand. We went back to The Constance and asked if it was possible to get a different room. Took a little bit but the offered us a beautiful room that we were very happy with. We truly appreciated the hospitality and kindness.

Great location. Within short walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, parks and bakeries. Our room was great too!

This charming historical bed & breakfast was so warm and welcoming. The staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The location is excellent and within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. The bed was comfortable. We really appreciated the AC being on in the room when we arrived since it was such a hot day. Cocktails over at their sister location, the Whitlock, were great. Breakfast options were good with plenty of freshly brewed coffee being brought out. It was a really lovely experience!

This hotel has three buildings in different parts of Lenox. We were in the "Whitlock" and its situation was perfect. It was quiet, even if it was on the Main Street, in walking distance and close to everything (shops, restaurants). We liked the garden, green and quiet. The room was well equipped and clean. The front desk man of this building was friendly and helpful. And the breakfast was offered in the other hotel "The Constance", a 8-minute walk away. Breakfast was good, with fresh blueberries and several muffins, beagels, etc. Parking was easy.

As this hotel consists of three buildings in different parts of Lenox, we arrived at the "Constance" (instead of Whitlock). The front desk man with a ponytail was not friendly, He kept typing on his computer and was annoyed giving us directions for the Whitlock or any other information. The water fountains in both hotel lobbies were empty.

We stayed in The Constance, which is a beautiful property in a great location for all the local shops and restaurants. The reception staff were very helpful both on check-in and check-out and provided us with some really good recommendations. The room was better than we had anticipated and was quiet, clean and comfortable with windows that we could open to allow fresh air in.

Breakfast was a bit disorganised and the layout of items was quite confusing. In addition, there was not enough space/tables to accommodate people from all the hotels converging on one site on this occasion.

Location is great with easy access to downtown and Tanglewood and major roads to nearby towns and attractions.

The breakfast situation is dismal! Except for weekends the policy is that all three hotels in the Lenox Collection have breakfast at The Constance. There’s not enough parking, there aren’t enough tables to seat everyone and the stepped bar used for putting out the breakfast items has items on both sides on both sides, accessible only at one end which is very close to a wall, making it difficult for people to pass by one another. Also, breakfast is only available from 7 to 9. Extending the availability to 9:30 or even 10 would make for less crowding and a better breakfast experience.

The Constance is a great value! Clean rooms, polite and helpful staff, a lovely but simple breakfast spread, fast WiFi- and literally at the edge of the main drag in Lenox. This was my second stay there, and for the money I once again found it to be a great value. Added bonus: a breezy front porch with lots of seating.

I really have no negatives here. Just manage expectations. This isn’t a luxury hotel. It’s almost a step back in time loaded with charm.

Location was great, just a short walk to downtown and a short drive to Tanglewood for the concerts. Also convenient for getting to other area attractions--we drove to the Clark Art Institute in Williamstown, a gem of a small museum with a fantastic collection of impressionist paintings. Definitely worth the drive.

We didn't go to breakfast because the Dewy Carriage House is some distance from the main inn. The room was about what I expected for a bed and breakfast inn in Lenox during the BSO Tanglewood season, which is to say a bit overpriced. Still nice.

The room was a bit worn. The carpet was old, worn, and stained. It's very confusing to book because it wasn't clear that the "Lenox Collection" is three separate buildings on separate properties. Thus, communications are vague. ("Thanks for booking the Lenox Collection." The house we booked wasn't always made clear.) GPS seemed to be confused and couldn't give clear directions to each.

We stayed in the Carriage House of the Dewey, one of the three beautiful inns that comprise the "Lenox Collection". I'm sure we would have been very happy with any of the three.

We were disappointed to have arrived for our check-in at The Constance (confirmed in advance by direct call from staff) that we'd be staying in one of the other hotels, though breakfast was only provided back at the Constance (a short drive away). ..We wondered why we weren't told in advance.

The Whitlock's first-floor accessible room was quite fine. The ADA parking spot was nearby, and this room was reached with a dedicated path leading to its french doors. The bathroom was spacious, with a flat-floored shower and bars in all the right places. The bed was very comfy.

Although coffee and packaged snacks were available at the Whitlock, one must drive or long (for me)-walk to the Constance for breakfast. The room was sparsely decorated for a building of this era.
