The staff were excellent, especially Bev at breakfast.

Not the hotels fault but they have 4 EV parking bays/chargers on site that were being used by inconsiderate non-EV cars because the car park is too small. Also, The Lytham Car Show was on on Lytham Green. The hotel overlooks the green but there was absolutely no mention of it when booking. Fortunately, we didn't mind the noise & we had a great view from our room but it was very noisy from 6.30am for nearly 11 hours. The hotel sponsored the event as well so no excuse for the advanced warning especially if you were there for a quiet break. Rooms extremely hot but we were provided with a fan.

Lovely hotel on the front, very comfortable rooms, very close to Lytham centre, good breakfast (unless you were vegan),

Having advised hotel that one of our party was vegan and been assured breakfast was full geared to cater for vegans, there was one cooked breakfast choice with a vegan "option": avocado tomato and egg on toast. Avocado on toast arrived. Considering there were other things on the menu that were vegan or where vegan options are easily available such as mushrooms, baked beans, tomatoes, porridge or plant based sausages, this was very disappointing for a large hotel.

The room and view were wonderful.

It was very hot when we visited. Only one of six windows could be opened a small amount and in the absence of air conditioning meant the room was unbearably hot. The breakfast quality was good, but the quantity leaved a lot to be desired. One half a rather of bacon and one small sausage not really acceptable. For the price of £270 for one night I would not expect to queue up to make my own toast! Very disappointed with breakfast as I have stayed here before when the breakfast was brilliant and was something I was really looking forward to.

I booked this hotel for myself and my 12 year old son for the 1940's weekend. We had a warm reception upon arrival and our twin room was lovely, with a nice side view of the front. Breakfast was very tasty, my son is coeliac which means he can't have wheat or gluten and he was well catered for so no worries in that department. Our room was comfy and spacious. We will be back for next year's event !

I really can't fault a thing at all, and if I did it would just be picky and for the sake of it.

When we explained I had disability issues our room was changed to the first floor where there were no steps to negotiate. The terrace was lovely and we enjoyed the views of the sea. The breakfast menu gave a good choice of food

I had to reverse with my walker out of the lift and the door kept closing on my husband. We appreciated having the lift so I could access our bedroom but it wasn't the best experience. Maybe the timing of the lift closure needs to be adjusted.

Location was excellent with super views across the estuary. A big plus was the free car parking to the rear of the hotel. There were also some electric car charging points so we were able to charge our EV, had to download the app first but was simple and price wise it wasn’t extortionate. The public areas of the hotel are really nice, spacious and very clean - we enjoyed sitting by the bar in the evening with a drink and a few others were doing the same creating a nice ambiance. Our room was a standard double, to the rear of the hotel on the first floor overlooking the car park - we had a good night’s sleep as it was nice and quiet. It was large enough for us as we were only staying for one night, the bed was very comfortable with nice pillows, the amenities tray was great with coffee bags and the usual teas and hot chocolate sachets, biscuit snack packs also provided. My wife appreciated the lovely smelling soaps and hand lotion provided in the bathroom, although it was difficult to access the soap dispenser when actually in the bath as it is obviously set up to be reached when using the shower! Towelling robes provided along with an iron and ironing board, the room was very clean. Free Wi-Fi worked well. Breakfast was superb, especially the lovely waitress called Pam and her friendly, welcoming personality, she’s an absolute credit to the hotel. Plenty of choice for breakfast both hot and cold options a La carte, (and also a buffet with pastries, cereals, juices etc which we didn’t use) which came quickly and was much enjoyed by us both. All restaurant staff we encountered were very attentive. Couple of ladies on reception were very friendly and chatty and a couple were a bit more abrupt but we’re all different so probably just different personality styles. Overall, a very nice stay and would not hesitate to book this hotel again if we were staying in the area.

Wish people wouldn’t dress as if they were abroad on holiday for breakfast i.e. shorts and T-shirts/vests! It wasn’t even a warm day!

Exceptionally friendly & welcoming staff, particularly Ann on reception. Breakfast was freshly prepared and enjoyable and the hotel has a modern dining room & lounge bar area which are both pleasant and roomy. The bedroom and bathroom in particular were not particularly up to date but were absolutely fine and in keeping with a hotel of this style.

Not much really but a walk in shower would be appreciated rather than climbing into a bath and the car park is a little small for the size of the hotel and spaces are not guaranteed.

We stayed in the Churchill suite and were delighted to have two en-suites one with a walk in shower, toilet and sink and the other with a bath and sink. A good sized room with a comfortable king size bed, table and chairs and a small sofa in front of a modern 55 inch tv where we could log into our Netflix and Prime accounts.

We popped in to the hotel for the first time last year whilst we were out for a walk when we were staying in an apartment elsewhere in Lytham and the staff were very attentive and made us feel very welcome and this motivated us to book. I think the gentleman was called Tony but unfortunately he was off sick for the duration of our stay and we found the mood to be completely different as very few of the staff, particularly those on reception, were rather cold and unwelcoming. When we walked into the hotel via reception, no one looked up from their computer screen and acknowledged us or said good morning when we came down for breakfast.

From booking to checking out staff were helpful, cheery and organised, we had a cheaper room, but it was fine for our one night stay, lovely bar area and dinning room! Lovely Breakfast ordered from the menu, it was served nice and hot! Staff were organised and efficient They have a lovely outdoor terrace you can sit on, unfortunately it was raining when we stayed so did get to use this. Great location the town is literally behind the hotel so it’s very convenient!

The view from our room over looked the car park, but when you choose a cheaper room I guess this was expected, but did not spoil our stay.

We have stayed here before, the hotel is in a great position. We had booked a meal with family nearby and a gig at the Lowther Gardens, all within walking distance. Our room was spotless, staff were friendly and helpful. There was a lot of choice at breakfast and it was cooked fresh. Staff were all attentive but not over the top.

Nothing!!! Would love to come again in the summer as they have outdoor seating which would be lovely to use and people watch. Great view to of the front
