We liked the whole area, it was close to the shops and it's more convenient for a short stay. The beds were comfortable, and the shower was amazingly hot at all times of the day. The TV was positioned right, and I just wished it was Sky TV. Staff were awesome.

We didn't like the crack in the sink, the super cold swimming pool when it would have been nice and hot to enjoy on an ultra cold day. Creaky noise on the staircase by the bathroom, the bathroom door, and the toilet had no locks. The picnic table outdoor area could have had an umbrella or a shaded cover for the roofing. The pool had cockroahes and other bugs in there. The shower door just needs a bit fixing. The bathroom fan needs to be working when having a hot shower as it clouds the whole bathroom. The fridge freezer could be a lot bigger as we had ice cream melting in the freezer part of the fridge

We booked 4 family apartments for a family trip, and we loved the loft style. It looked like they had just recently refurbished. The carpet and downstairs flooring looked new. Can still smell a slight hint of new paint, which was barely noticeable/gone once the windows were opened and the apartment was aired out. The beds are comfortable with high-end sheets and fluffy thick towels. Each apartment had what looked like newly installed inverter heatpumps, though we didn't need to use it during our stay. We appreciate the fully functional clean kitchen as it gave our big group the option to cook some meals. The bathrooms are huge, although old, they were clean and functional without any leaks or smell. The location was perfect for where we needed to be. For what we paid and we got more than what we expected, it was well worth it. Will definitely come back and stay. Highly recommend.

The only thing we really struggled with was communication. Have to call them a few times as no one seemed to be around to answer the phone. However, we eventually got through and eventually got a reply through the Booking.com messaging. Our booking wasn't canceled, so I guess it's a plus for us and for them.

Comfortable, spacious, quiet, assigned parking, lovely staff. Loved everything about the motel, minus 1 little thing.

Trying to get out on Saturday. We ended up turning left, going along the road a bit and turning down a side street on the right so we could head back the other way. Sunday was no problem to crossover. A very minor inconvenience, but worth it with it being so close to the event we were attending.

Very spacious accommodation: main room, kitchen, bathroom. Additional bedroom upstairs next to bathroom. Unfortunately, it was difficult for travelling companion to get up the very tight stairs to the bathroom. Otherwise, very happy with everything. Small private courtyard. Good location for our 4 night stay. Very helpful staff. Handy location for Bus service to Ferry Wharf - giving easy access to Auckland. Recommend: La Padella Restaurant, Howick.

The room was exceptionally clean. I could not fault it at all. The cooking facilities were also more than we expected so that was a great surprise. We arrived after dark and left in the dark the next morning so were not really around enough to comment on other facilities or location . We travelled up from Tauranga and were on a ferry to Waiheke early the next day and would definitely stay there again if we were doing that as it was so close to the ferry terminal at Half Moon Bay.

The room had everything so that you could cook at ‘home’. The bed was a little bit too soft but that’s just a personal preference.

The toilet leaked with each flush and if I was travelling by myself I wouldn’t have been able to have a shower as the tap in the shower was too stiff for me to operate. We told management about both issues but they weren’t too bothered.

These guys are the best. Nice quiet location just up the road from Highland Park and the new mega Pak N Save. They were so accomodating when I had to extend my stay twice at such short notice. They are also very affordable. The next time I am over this way this is where I’m going to book. Thank you Howick Motor lodge ❤️

The room was so nice and I’d call it a Villa rather than just a room. It was clean and soo comfortable we felt at home. The bed was super comfy and you can tell the effort that has been put into the styling of it. The manager was very lovely and came to our rescue to let us in when we arrived late with no internet or phone reception. The location was great for us due to family members we were visiting, living close by. Highly recommend!

Newly renovated, clean and extremely comfortable beds. Office stayed open for us as we were arriving just after close. Great wee pool for the kids. So close to everything we needed. A great wee find for our spontaneous stay.

If I had to moan about something although so tiny and didn't actually bother us but could others. You can only watch TV from the master bed. We couldn't move it around to view from the sofa.
