David and Margaret are the ideal hosts: there if you need them. David was very helpful with directions regarding driving through Cork City. We needed a very peaceful and quiet place to stay, and Davmar house was ideal. Great location, very close to Blarney, and about 20 min to half hour away from Cork City (depending on traffic). Love the concept of a separate "tea room"! Also our bed was so comfy. I don't have any hesitation in recommending Davmar House to fellow travelers.

A nice clean no fuss accommodation. A very cheerful hardworking host . Very alert and helpful. The added facility of a kitchen/ lounge which guests can use to warm up and have a meal or rustle up breakfast was very useful Margaret also recommended an excellent option to go have dinner at . The property itself is room only with no breakfast offered or available near by The location is up a hill with a steep walk back from village. So convenient only if coming by self drive car

The location was good. I needed a place close to the Woollen Mill. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The private bath was clean and the water was hot. After traveling throughout Europe for a month, it was nice to have a soft bed. I would stay here again.

Maybe some advertisements for local food take out places, so one would know who to call for take out. Also, a map of the town available so one could find the businesses.

We had a wonderful relaxing stay at. The accommodations were very nice. Margaret and David are wonderful hosts and gave us information about the surrounding area. We would highly recommend this unique place for an overnight visit or an extended stay and we would definitely like to visit them again.

Location to Blarney was perfect. Hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Bed was a little small for taller folk but definitely not a deal breaker.

We did not have breakfast, a pot of real coffee rather than instant in the morning would’ve been nice. Staff made themselves scarce when it came to helping with luggage.

Sorry to Complain... Just so you know.... Please check the Shower and Door to The Room.... The Shower was set on HOT! Please oil The Door to the room as was rather squeaky, felt like we were disturbing other Guests...

Host nice and helpful, very close to blarney, good restaurants nearby to choose from, nice room, quiet location, extra room for guests to use that had fridge and microwave and coffee maker

Shower did not drain well

Very kind people and structure surrounded by beautiful nature, only 15 min from Cork.

Some problems to understand how to turn on the heating

Bedroom was lovely and spacious, ensuite was bigger than I expected and shower was powerful. Margaret was lovely but we only meet briefly as we were heading out again.

Was woken a few times in morning as people were leaving but that couldn't be helped.
