It is located a 15 minute walk east from the town centre. The ensuite rooms were clean, with comfortable beds and very good wifi. Early check-in was much appreciated from the super efficient reception as it was flipping boiling in the late summer Indian heatwave which engulfed the UK ! There was a pop-up van up the road into town serving Thai street food in the evening - highly recommended. Great location for people walking the south west coastal path. I didn't have breakfast so can't comment about it's quality.

The bed felt a bit small. Only one sachet of coffee provided and no teaspoons so was not possible to fix a coffee when we arrived. No breakfast provided at the restaurant

Spotless cleaning plenty toilet paper very soft towels.

Staff spoke when spoken to but not much communication if regulars were in the bar, only spoke to serve you. No lift and no one to take luggage up to room very dated

The breakfast menu was good, fruit juice or cereal, full English eggs, bacon sausage tomato fried bread, hash brown and beans. Tea or coffee and toast. The towels were brilliant white and were changed every day. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us.

The communal stairs and corridors were well worn.

The staff at the Godolphin were very friendly and very welcoming with my family. The location of the hotel is very good only a 15 min walk into town and very straightforward.

Nothing really the could of been bit more parking spaces but that wasnt really possible for the hotel we parked on the street across but it wasn't anything major.

The room was very clean It had a TV and tea and coffee but the view was just amazing.The staff was very helpful and polite.

We didn't like the breakfast because of the hour(8:30-9:30) and because we are not a british breakfast fan.Maybe ,as a suggestion,you can add a little bit more options. Also,I was disappointed,because we stayed for 4 nights and we got just one little soap and 2 sachets of shower gel for 2 people. Also,it would be great if the reception area will get a little bit of improvement,make it more welcoming.The smell in that area is not great,smells cigarettes,and some plants will really change the look.

Very clean, comfortable, quiet, great location with parking and I had the room cleaned during my 2 nights stay that I didn't expect. Very easy to check in via text, friendly staff and made the whole stay excellent.

Check in was quick and easy, even let us park car as we arrived before check in. If room had been ready we could have checked in straight away, it wasn't but it wasn't a problem. Breakfast was plentiful and catered for vegetarians. Room was large enough and bathroom had bath along with a shower over it. Ample wardrobe and drawer space. Beds made every day for us, and room clean and tidy. Staff friendly

It was a big old building which is probably getting ready for a refresh, stairs carpet a little stained, bathroom could do with a lick of paint, toilet seat didn't match colour of toilet etc.... but overall for the money paid the hotel was as expected and would definitely stay there again
