The place is an ocean of silence. In the middle of the city and still calm. The fact that you get a garage for your car in the crowded city helps a lot. Thanks, I loved my stay.

The walls are a bit thin; You can hear the mobile phone alarm clock of your neighbor as if it is located right in your same room. However, the hotel take scare by distributing people quite evenly in the hotel and avoid too many too close locations and my neighbors were very respectful.

The design is all very old but authentic motel-style and that in the middle of Hamburg. The breakfast was very qualitative and extensive. Staff very friendly. The garage underneath the room which we used for our bike is super practical.

The room wasn’t very dark at night. Someone was talking on the phone late at night on the patio which you could hear in the room.

The vintage steup of the room resembling my great grandfather's household setup attracted me, triggering the happy nostalgic mood of the long old days of my past. I am happy and satisfied with the Motel, as a whole.

I am not sure if the room has a bed of spring-typed bed category which I felt uncomfortable to a little extent. I wish the bed alone could be considered with a hard and good flat cushioned one.

Great location and exceptionally friendly staff ! I really liked my stay there - the only issue was that the room was very cold, even though the heaters were running - however, admittedly it was very cold outside. I would stay here again anytime during summer :-)

The rooms are indeed well kept and give you a true 1970s / 1980s experience. The staff are great - friendly, informative, helpful! The rooms are a good size. Parking is good.

It's a bit overpriced for the experience at 170 per night.

Although the Hoheluftchaussee (street where this is located) itself is not very pleasant, it has lots of shops, cafes, restaurants, and the quarter around it is quite nice. Also it's well connected and fairly central. Great location. The 1960s US motel style is very original and as it's hidden from the street, it's quite a surprise how it looks (not so much of course if you have seen lots of photos). The room was clean, and all worked well. No complaints really. Both the room and breakfast were OK for the price.

One may wonder whether the 1960s appearance of the place is actually a design decision, or results from lack of any refreshing or refurbishment in the last 50 years... maybe both? As long as it's clean, I don't mind though. My room and probably most if not all are in the first floor and I had to carry heavy luggage up there as there is no lift. It's not so many steps, so bearable. Generally it's a 2 star place so don't expect too much.

Not far from the town center, close and very accessible from the motorway. Free parking and was actually offered a garage. Very friendly and helpful receptionist and the room was very clean.

I've been to dozens of motels in the US and never have I been so excited to come back. The absolute friendliest staff, exceptional cleanliness and a lovely old-timy decor that makes you think you just stepped several decades back in time given how new everything looks. What a fantastic place!

You get everything you'd expect. A nice, although fairly small room. Parking just outside your room for free, wifi works well. There's tons of kebab restaurants nearby and even groceries a short walk away.

It’s a really lovely place. I like how they preserve the the old times. Staff was friendly and helpful. I stayed only one night so i can’t say much.

I find a tiny bit pricy compared to its simplicity, but no regrets nevertheless
