Good location (10 min by car to downtown Reykjavík); spacious room with complete kitchenware; comfortable bed; beautiful views of Reykjavík (at least from apt # 406); free parking in front and rear of building; grocery store just across the street.
A bit overpriced; checkin from 3 p.m. and checkout at 10 a.m. (A total os 19h only); no employees in building - all contact is made by message and Booking app.

Easy to check-in and access. Property guide has all the information. Do not forget to add preferred check-in time (we didn't and we had to wait for them to update our door lock remotely - only took 5 mins but still)! The location is superb. Vicinity to the shops, cafes, restaurants, and Reykjavík itself is amazing! Sky Lagoon is only 5 mins drive! Reykjavík 10-15 mins drive! Plenty of free parking - in front of and behind the property! Facility wise, everything you need for a short-medium stay is available. The kitchenette has everything you need to prepare quick meals for yourself. Fridge & freezer for your snacks or groceries. Shops across the road and right beside it too. Restaurants & bars just a walk away as well as couple doors down. Cafes for morning coffees and pastries - Te & Kaffi across the road, maybe 2 mins walk and Braud & Co 8 mins walk. Have plenty of choice if you wish to eat out but not spend ridiculous amounts of money in Reykjavík restaurants. Washing machines and dryers if you need to do laundry. Beds are comfortable. Rooms were at a very comfortable temperature despite a drafty window. Extra electric heater provided. Blackout curtains were a great help. So were frosted windows and the double curtain set up (considering our room was on the ground floor, we didn't feel exposed despite having a glass window wall). The room and bathroom were spacious! Added bonus - pretty sunset views can be seen from the back of the accommodation, easily accessed by the stairs that connect the back road beside Subway.
Water went over the shower overflow and we had to use the bath mat as a stopper. It would help to have a wider glass panel or taller raised bit. We never got access to the key box that had the keys to the backdoor so we just had to walk around to the front every time. Wasn't really a problem but would've been nice to have it.

I really enjoyed the location and the ease of access. It was very close to the capital, just a 10-minute drive away from downtown. Across the way, there was an excellent grocery store with longer hours than most retailers and great prices. A great hub to stay!
Things are slightly different than in Canada, which makes sense; it's a different country. The lack of a fan in the bathroom made for a steamy room. At times, parking was challenging due to the number of guests and shared parking with other buildings. But overall, it's a great spot.

Easy to access with key code in a very convenient location. The room was generally clean, warm and we were not disturbed by any noise. Bus stops for city centre routes are less than five minutes walk away and there is a supermarket and fantastic coffee shop (Te &Kaffi) within a minutes walk.
The bathroom had obviously had some repair work to the floor tiles which had left a chalky residue from the grouting which irritated my skin and was picked up on our clothing. The property boasted a coffee maker in every room, even if this was just a cafetiere, there was no coffee making equipment in our room.

Although can be considered a budget friendly accommodation, everything was as expected and had a good few days. The self check-in instructions were really easy and convenient (door codes). Although we haven't had any problems we really appreciated the hosts proactiveness and availability to assist us in need. A notable plus would be the supermarket across the road (Kronan) and the location is also great as a base for car trips either to Reykjavik or the south. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a good value accommodation near Reykjavik.

Very good location. There are two supermarkets and public transport stop near the hotel. The room is large, bright and clean. The kitchen is large and is well equipped. There is a stove, electric kettle and a microwave. Everything is in excellent condition. Enough utensils for cooking. The bed is large and comfortable. The bed sheets are clean. The bathroom is large enough. There is a hair dryer. Huge window and balcony with a gorgeous view of the city, mountains, ocean. You cam also enjoy watching the northern lights from here. It was a pleasure to stay here.

Luggage room Easy to get in and out Clean Spacious Good facilities Near bus stop Near supermarkets
Pillows were not great Taps (maybe drains) smelled Back door was permanently open, security risk. Can you put up a sign at the front, for a taxi company? Especially one we can contact on WhatsApp? Your emails are unreadable on my phone - the text is tiny and on dark grey background. I can't enlarge it. Can you consider this in the future, please?

The hotel was always quick to respond to messages if I had any questions. The room was very large and the shower was nice. The television had streaming services. The hotel is about a 15 minute bus journey to the centre of Reykjavik but that was absolutely fine because there is a bus stop a 1 minute walk from the hotel. The location around the hotel is great and has everything - a supermarket, a nice Italian sandwich place, and a breakfast place across the road, a sports bar next door, etc. There are also cultural things nearby like museums and churches. Location, despite not being in Reykjavik, is very good and we saw stuff we would never have seen if we have stayed in Reykjavik.
Room did not get cleaned. That was not a problem for us, but I only mention it as someone else might have an issue with it. We stayed for 3 nights so maybe they do cleaning for longer stays. Did not alter our enjoyment at all, though. There was also a small spill of shower gel on the floor of the main downstairs area when we arrived, and it was still there when we left. Again, we weren't bothered by it.

We visited Iceland to attend a symposium in Reykjavik, and Iceland Comfort Apartments offered the best price-to-quality ration that we could find. The apartments are as advertised. The key awaited us in a key safe, and we received an e-mail with combination to open it. The check-out procedure is just as simple. The small kitchen in the apartment had everything that was neccessary for coffee and brekfast in the morning -- in fact, the kitchen is fully equipped to handle simple meal praparation. It includes a microwave oven, a french coffee press, and an electric kettle. There are pots, pans, cuttlery, plates, bowls, cups and glasses. A supermarket is conveniently located just accross the street from the main entrance, and another one not 500 m away. The radiators in the apartment kept it warm, and the temperature can be regulated manually. There is ample parking space at the front. The ground-floor apartments probably used to be offices or stores in the past, and the entire outer wall is (milky) glass, which can feel odd at first. However, the apartments are equipped with thick, light-blocking curtains (in addition to the regular kind). The shower in one of the apartments had a slight issue with the angle of the border ceramic tiles, so that water trickled to the floor during use, but this was a minor inconvenience. As these are apartments for rent, and although the cleaning fee is added to the price, there is no daily cleaning service. A small brush and dust pan can be found under the kitchen sink, but a broom would have come in handy (although it can probably be requested, if needed). The apartments appeart to be located in a quiet area. The upper-floor apartment had a balcony, and it is probably a great spot for relaxation if the weather is good.
Some leftover waste from previous guests was still in the dustbin when we checked in (paper food packaging and coffe grounds, mostly). Extra bin bags were placed at the bottom of the dustbin, so not really obvious at first.

Perfect little apartment. Had everything we needed. Nice and warm for 2 weary travellers and the bed was SO comfortable! Right over the road was a fab little patisserie and a krönan store, ideal for essentials, and only 10 mins away from sky lagoon and 15 mins from grötta lighthouse
We where right next to the entrance/exit, so all we heard where people stamping the snow off their shoes 🫣 front of the apartment was a wall of glass, not really necessary as being on the ground floor you had to keep the curtains closed anyway to stop people from looking in. The room seemed to be missing a curtain panel, which let the light in from outside, over the entrance/exit at night. We did request 2 single beds, as it was me and my sister travelling, but got a king size bed with 2 duvets. Only small things but would make a big difference
