I only stayed a night in beautiful place and wish it would have been longer ! My room was clean and comfortable for a short stay. The breakfast was very good and really nicely served. (The Easter decorations and egg servings were special and delightful!）My room was not facing the lake but I could have breakfast with amazing lake view. I could feel Staff’s welcome heart !Highly recommended.

When I checked in, the lights were off in the entire building and it was pitch black, so I was a bit nervous. I could often hear noises from the room next door and downstairs, so I had to be careful when I went down to the bathroom at night. But considering this great location and breakfast, it was really a minor thing!

Breakfast! friendly staff. Even access to clotheswasher -- a huge plus on a 2 week trip. Beautiful view from location. Great value for money. Useful small kitchen. Porch with a view! Meticulously renovated. Useful kitchenette which we used once. We walked the high street to old church, savoring lake views, as well as checking out the village. Brienz is a hidden gem. You'll need access to email or cellular data to get PIN just before arrival -- easy for anyone with a Swiss cellphone but can be a challenge for overseas visitors -- be sure to get a Swiss telephone # and confirm that the B&B knows what it is.

We pack light, but even so there's only a tiny closet to lay out clothing. Personal items stay in suitcase crammed along a wall or under tables.

Very nice B&B!! Beautiful scenery and view of lake Brienz. Beautiful house. Easy check-in procedure, the host sent a code which gave us access to the keys. First thing I noticed when walking in was the clean smell of fresh laundry. There were two rooms on the bottom floor and we had a reservation for both so we had the toilet and the bathroom in the corridor all to ourselves. Free parking and wi-fi. Lovely breakfast.

Nothing really, didn’t bother me but if you are sensitive to noises you hear gusts on second floor walking on the floor. If we return we will definitely stay in this B&B again!

Great experience at a traditional house with 400 years of existence with a magnificent view to the lake and mountains. You can only hear the sound of birds and nature, feel the cold breeze and enjoy the colors in front of you. The check in is made with a code to access the room key and the place itself is simple, beautiful and well taken care of. There's a variety of rooms, but we stayed at a room with shared bathroom and shared kitchen. It was quite nice and we had everything we needed to cook. The waking up was incredible, with the most beautiful scenery outside our windows. The breakfast was simple but well prepared and we enjoyed very much finding a portuguese lady working there that was just so nice and welcoming. The town was almost shut down in the days we were there in November, but I think it's seasonal. Not many options to eat out but perfect for tranquility and see the beautiful lake and mountains.

Brienz is a delightful town on the shores of the lake and a delight to visit. B&B Brienz is very well located - walkable to the railway station (10 minutes) and has plenty of parking on site. 7 of the rooms are located in the main building. One room has its own bathroom and the other 6 rooms share 3 toilets and 2 showers. There is a shared kitchen with fridge and a cooking area. One bathroom has a washing machine and dryer at a cost of 4 Swiss francs There is a separate building with 3 rooms which, I think, have private bathrooms. Some rooms have a lake view, a couple do not. Breakfast was excellent, lots of fresh products and a very friendly lady overseeing the breakfast room. The Coop supermarket sells most things that you need to survive and is located between the B&B and the station. There are quite a few restaurants in the town.

No complaints.

This place is in a very nice spot surrounded by nature, lakeview included. The self check-in is hassle-free (even for night arrivals), breakfast is great with local specialities. Imagine that you stay in a 400+ year old typical Swiss house surrounded by mountains and a beautiful garden :-)

Since it is an old wooden home, you will be able to hear the people upstairs walking around. Moreover, the Brienzer Rothorn train with its steam locomotives passes thru the garden and gives some extra noise. For us, it was part of the experience of our stay, so no problem with that, but for others it might be difficult.

Location is amazing, beautiful views and lovely garden to relax in. It’s so close to the train station and lake and a few nice restaurants nearby. Bedroom and facilities were spotless, we had a shared bathroom which we were slightly worried about but it was absolutely fine! Especially as we would shower in the evenings so never had to wait to use it. Breakfast was great, lots of options and was always ready at 7:30 with fresh bread and pastries every day.

Nothing! Everything was great and as expected

My sister and I stayed here for a night, and it was perfect! We arrived earlier than check in time and didn’t have WiFi to contact. The staff were amazing. Although there was a language barrier, the lady that helped us was more than kind and even let us put our bags in the room before the room was ready - i couldn’t have asked for a better experience and better staff to help us out when needed! I was so grateful for their willingness and kindness to help when we arrived earlier than expected.

There was nothing we didn’t like!!

The hotel’s location was excellent—peaceful, quiet, and uniquely situated near the lake. Despite visiting during a very cold winter period, the interior was extremely warm, and we faced no issues with heating. The room was spacious, which added to our comfort. Breakfast was good and met our expectations. Additionally, we received timely and accurate guidance from the hotel regarding check-in and check-out procedures, which was very helpful.

The only downside we experienced was the very low quality of the pillows on the bed, which could be improved for better comfort.

This amazing B&B has my heart...Since I've booked 4 months ago, Sabrina kept answering all of my questions about the Hotel and the area. You can't imagine how amazing it is until you get there. the view?the cosiness? I didn't want to leave... i took hundreds of photos and videos and people here believe this place doenst really exist... they have coffee and tea area in a amazing living room in which i sat 3 hours under the blanket after i had checked out. I had breakfast near the window watching the lake!!!I slept so quietly..the share bathroom was so clean. Really amazing job. Well done and thank you for everything! If I ever come back to Switzerland, B&B in Brienz will be my only choice to stay.
