Property is in a gorgeous part of Tuscany... day walks/hikes in all directions. Walkable distance from Lucca and taxis available as well. The villa itself has it's own strong energy/presence... quite a vibe. Breakfast was great and staff was flexibile in being sure to accomodate our needs. Staff super communicative throughout stay. Made great referals.

Lack of Uber in Tuscany area adds a bit of friction to transit to/from property for those without car rentals. Similarly, it's not the best equipped space for those seeking more regular lifestyle needs (easy grocery access, functional kitchen)... it's more-so a hotel or albergo style of property, not a live-in apartment type of operation. But then again, this all works just fine for the vast majority of tourists.

We had a lovely stay in Andrea and Paola’s family run b and b. The property is remarkable and offers an opportunity to stay in a beautiful and historic property which has been kept original throughout. Andrea and his family are so welcoming and are available for anything you need. The location is a short drive to Lucca although you could walk within the hour.

An amazing place to relax and feel like you're in a movie. The villa perfectly captures the spirit of past centuries while remaining clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged. The breakfast was excellent, and the hosts were incredibly friendly, answering all my questions. The WiFi worked great, but in such a charming setting, you hardly feel the need to use it. Thank you for a fantastic experience!

Villa Rossi is a real gem! We had a wonderful time especially with the great hospitality of Paola and her mum! The house is really big, clean and dotted with lovely antiques. It's located in a private park with beautiful views. It took us less than 10min to Lucca (a car is needed though) which we loved! This property was very welcoming for us as a young family! Thank you so much, we hope to be back in the future !

The only thing not ideal for us was that there wasn't a grass area for our baby to crawl on

The host was great and friendly, the location was close to popular destinations, breakfast was decent and tasty.. The garden around the villa could have been much easier and safer to walk but the view was nice.. Amenities were also decent. Overall we enjoyed our time over there. Thanks to Paola and Andrei for their hospitality.

There aren’t many properties that make you feel at home rather than a tourist and this was one of them. The family could not have done more to make us feel welcome and trusted with their beautiful apartment. We loved the authentic old Italian style and restful garden. A delightful couple of days, we would have liked to stay longer! Also a delicious homemade breakfast.

You arrive at massive old gates and proceed up a long plant lined driveway. The setting of the house is lovely in amongst beautiful trees. Breakfast was plentiful with hot and cold selections. Nona’s daily homemade cakes were a wonderful treat! The bed was very comfortable which is rare. This family run B & B makes you feel like you are a guest of friends.

The host Paola and her sin Andrea was one of the best hosts we have met so far. Really friendly and very helpful with many information. Amazing place. Just 10 min drive from Lucca. And close to many places. Lovely room with all the facilities. Quite surrounding and u are in the middl of beautiful park. Me, my wife and our daughter had a great time. We will return for sure.

We absolutely loved the property and the owners are really adorable. They catered to our every needs. Lots of tips, including for visiting Rome. The place is stunning and ideal to disconnect with busy life. The rooms are big and comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is a private terrace with a lovely view on a small lake. And lots of space to safely park your car.

We loved everything! Nothing to complain about.

Breakfast was good, juice,fruits,bread,cheese and ham,coffee, tea, cereals, yoghurt and cakes:) Beautiful old country home and surrounding garden. We enjoyed the privacy and quiet location. Most helpful and friendly staff. The spirit of history was there and you could imagine what the ’noble life’ -even though we stayed at servants’ house-was several hundreds years ago here. Many interesting historical points like furniture, costumes, paintings and even an instrument was visible. Easy to access with car and only 10 min from Lucca!
