Morning staff very attentive and welcoming. Property was clean and close to the airport so Uber in the morning didn’t cost much. Good value for money and would use again.

Shuttle bus service had us waiting upwards of 45 minutes even though the hotel is less than 10 away. Would recommend just using Uber as was only £3 more.

Great location and a very warm and cosy English house. The staff really made us feel welcomed. Especially the lady in the kitchen was so kind and sweet.

The first night experience was great but then we had to check out as were travelling to Scotland. On our way back, before flying out of Gatwick, we stayed one night at this property. The second time was remarkably different and I would say disappointed us. The room was not clean and it had a stinky smell. Also the guy at the reception was a bit rude and unfriendly.

Hotel is 10/15 mins walk from the train station. The room was spotless, a good size and the bed was comfortable. An iron was provided on request. We ate in the restaurant and the meal was lovely. The hotel provided a transfer to Gatwick airport at 4.00am at a small charge.

All staff very friendly and welcoming. Bed comfy. Lasagne lovely. I walked to the Airport in the morning, as I like the fresh air. Just had a rucksack. Be aware takes about 40 minutes.

Constant banging doors that made the door to my own room shake and bang. I realised in the morning it was due to being in a room nearest to the front door but they need to adjust the door so it’s not affected by others coming in and out

The staff were all extremely friendly and efficient. The location was excellent and the shuttle bus to and from the airport worked perfectly for us, which was much appreciated seeing as we had very early morning flights!

The convenience!!! £8 per night parking, £12 each way for transfer and a perfectly comfortable night stay. Much more convenient than parking at the airport. Really simple process - especially for our 5.55am flight Very friendly and personable staff

Excellent hotel with great facilities, staff were friendly and welcoming. Meal was lovely. Room very clean and well appointed, good size with comfortable bed and fan provided, which was great because of the heatwave.

Only two VERY minor gripes, no biscuits in the room (there are tea making facilities) - always nice to have a little snack provided. During the evening before I left, the staff moved my car to allow more people to park, but didn't show me where they'd moved it to. When I went to retrieve the car in the morning the lady on reception pointed in a vague direction and said it was out the front (which it wasn't) so I had to find it in the grounds and manoeuvre it out (which for some drivers may not have been easy) - it would have been better if they'd showed me where the car was and offered to get it out for me. Very minor and not a big issue.

Good location -just 8 mins from airport- has a courtesy bus, worth having at 13 ponds for single person , less if for 4 people I stayed on ground floor as I have mobility issues - easy to navigate. Walk to town only 10 minutes away - I am 85 and it was very easy walking. Evening meal had several home cooked options and as I am vegetarian , could choose one of those. Room small but adequate for my needs. Staff were very helpful and after a long flight , I was very grateful for their support and kindness.

Handy to Gatwick terminals with a shuttle service. I was in the Chalets across the road which was a fairly compact room in a building. The front door slammed loudly with every opening. A warm night and thanks for a decent fan as not much air otherwise. The cord for the bedside light is on the blink but I managed to get it to go. A great pub nearby with good dinners and atmosphere so I did not eat in the restaurant. A single short bed, kettle and otherwise basic and probably all you need. Staff helpful and friendly which is lovely.

I'm not that short but the bathroom mirror was way too high.
